June Harmon Winter
June 25, 1924 - October 5, 2016
Rogers, Arkansas
June Harmon Winter, 92, of Rogers, AR passed away Wednesday, October
5, 2016 at Innisfree Nursing Home and Rehab. She was born June 25, 1924
in Carthage, MO to Jessie Everett and Eulala York Harmon.

June spent her childhood and young adult years in Carthage, Mo. She met her
future husband, Waldo W. Winter II, at a USO dance at Camp Crowder, MO.
They moved shortly thereafter to Lincoln, NE to begin their life together.

They were blessed with four sons and purchased a farm in Eagle, NE living
there until 1986, when she and Waldo retired to Bella Vista. She enjoyed
golfing, dancing, and lake-time on Beaver Lake. After Waldo passed away in
1996, and their 52years of marriage, she married Bill Sengel a friend and
fellow parishioner at St. Theodore’s Episcopal Church. They were married
for nearly 10 years, until Bill’s death in 2008.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Waldo W. Winter II,
second husband, Bill Sengel son, Waldo W. (Wally) Winter III.

June is survived by her three sons, Robert Winter and wife, Lucy of Lincoln,
NE, John Winter and wife, Joyce of Rogers, AR and Mark Winter and wife,
Kate of Valparaiso, NE; a daughter-in-law, Peggy Winter of Tulsa, OK; eight
grandchildren, Melissa Winter, Michael Winter and wife, Jenny, Amanda
Crouch and husband, Michael, Jacob Winter, Rob Camperlino and Jay
Camperlino, wife, Brandy, Rick Kirby and wife, Karen and Donnie Kirby;
and 11 great-grandchildren, Mason, Callie and Cole Winter, Trey Crouch,
Brayden and Bryson Camperlino, James and Matthew Kirby and Mark,
Tommy and Abbi Kirby.

Memorial service will be held at 10am, Saturday, October 8, 2016 at St.
Theodore’s Episcopal Church in Bella Vista, AR.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Theodore’s Episcopal
Church, 1001 Kingsland Rd, Bella Vista, AR 72714.

Leatrice 'Letty' Lorain Bender Hofstra

Leatrice 'Letty' Lorain Bender Hofstra, 89, of Rogers, AR passed away
Sunday, October 2, 2016. She grew up on a cattle ranch in southern desert of
Arizona’s, near Gila Bend, with her parents, Ormal Lester and Laura May
McCormick Bender. Her father, whom she adored, was very instrumental in
teaching her the ways of the land. During WWII, Letty graduated high school
in a nearby town called Casa Grande. After the war, she married Richard
Hargus and the couple lived in Prescott, AZ with their six children.

In May of 1969, Letty married Peter Robert Hofstra and moved to Copper
Canyon Ranch in Camp Verde, AZ, where she and peter continued her
ranching heritage. Expressing their entrepreneurship, her and peter went on to
construct a shopping center in a very small town that didn’t have much. Not
only did they enrich their own lives, but also the lives of their community.

Upon semi-retirement in the 1970’s, they purchased a cattle ranch in Lead
Hill, AR. Still loving the deserts of Arizona, she embraced the forests of
Arkansas. As time marched on and retirement set in, the couple moved to a
more leisurely lifestyle in Rogers to escape the cold winters. After few years,
they return to the warmth of the Arizona desert where they were active in
building cisterns for the preservation of Big Horn Mountain Sheep. They
would also return to her homestead, which continues today to be protected as
a historical site by the United States Bureau of Land Management.

Peter and Letty were active in the Haitian missions where they went on
several excursions with the Immanuel Church groups. They were able to
provided God’s word, dental care and their expertise in construction
projects. From what they learned in their Baptist teachings, they were able to
assist and benefit the communities in Haiti.

Letty was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church in Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Letty is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Peter; six children; nine
grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:30-7:30pm, Thursday, October 6, 2016 at
Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services.

Funeral will be held at 10am, Friday, October 7, 2016 at Grace Baptist
Church in Rogers. Burial will be at 2pm, Friday at the Fayetteville National
cemetery.

Ronald Paul Fink, Sr.
July 21, 1944 - May 16, 2016

Tulsa, Oklahoma
Ronald Paul Fink, Sr., 71, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away Monday, May
16, 2016 in Tulsa. He was born July 21, 1944 in Cruise, MO to Charles F.
Fink Sr. and Mary Gertrude Recar Fink.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Earnest Duane Fink,
and two half brothers, Charles F. Fink Jr. (Marion) and Howard Fink
(Delores).

Ron is survived by two sons: Ronald Paul Fink, Jr., his wife, Kristen, and
Michael Alan Fink all of Bella Vista, Ark.; two granddaughters; Madeline
Camille Fink and Emma Grace Fink; two sisters, Mary Ellen Fink (Pelc),
Eugenie M. Fink (Saey); one brother, Gerald A. Fink (Lorna) and numerous
nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be at 2:00pm, Friday, May 20, 2016 at Stockdale-
Moody Funeral Chapel in Rogers with the Rev. Msgr. Scott Marczuk
officiating. Burial will be in Bella Vista cemetery in Bella Vista, Arkansas.

Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time.

Ronald Greeler
August 31, 2016
Bentonville, Arkansas
Ronald Greeler, 82, of Rogers, AR passed away August 31,
2016.

Ronald has been a hard-working honest person throughout his
life; a wonderful role model for his family. He loved his
family dearly and his family loved him. He had many friends
that cherished and respected him.

Church was a very important part of his life.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 60 years; three
daughters, Bonnie (George), Dollie (Randy) and Susie; one
sister, Betty Beilke; seven grandchildren, two
great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held at 11am, Thursday, September
8, 2016 at Central United Methodist Church in Rogers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central United
Methodist Church, 2535 W New Hope Rd, Rogers, AR
72758 or to the Greeler family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stockdale-Moody
Funeral Services in Rogers.

Stephen Patrick Hacala, Jr
May 2, 1991 - April 3, 2016
Rogers, Arkansas
Stephen Patrick Hacala Jr., 24, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away
Sunday, April 3, 2016. He was born on May 2, 1991 in Shaker
Heights, Ohio to Stephen 'Steve' Hacala and Margaret 'Betty'
Smirnoff Hacala.

He graduated from Bentonville High School in 2009 and went on to
attend the University of Arkansas, graduating with a BSBA degree in
Marketing in 2013.

Stephen was incredibly intelligent, driven and gifted. He was an
accomplished, skilled, and talented musician with a passion for the
guitar. After college, Stephen was awarded the 35th Anniversary
Guitar Scholarship to Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California.
While there, he spent time studying guitar and furthering his musical
knowledge and gifts. He returned from California and explored the
corporate realm working for GE Capital in Oklahoma City.

One year ago he returned to Northwest Arkansas to further his
education and during this time found his vocation in teaching and
sharing his love of guitar and music with others. For the past 7 months
he taught guitar at Arkansas Music Conservatory in Bentonville.

Stephen had a thirst for knowledge and truth and through that he
developed a personal relationship with God. Stephen had a
beautifully intense energy about him that allowed him to connect
deeply with and touch all those that he met. Stephen is dearly loved by
his family and friends and his spirit and memory will continue to live
on through all of them.

He is survived by his parents, Steve and Betty Hacala, of Rogers; two
sisters, Christina Hacala and Lauren Hacala; paternal grandparents,
John and Jean Hacala of Galloway, NJ; maternal grandfather, Michael
Smirnoff and wife, Jean of Pine Bush, NY; maternal grandmother,
Margaret Fairbrother and husband, Patrick of Sunset Beach, NC and
many other family members, friends, and students.

Visitation will be Monday April 11th, 6pm-8pm at St. Vincent de Paul
Catholic Church, 1416 West Poplar Street, Rogers, Arkansas 72758

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday April 12th, 1pm at St.
Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1416 West Poplar Street, Rogers,
Arkansas 72758

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made in memory of Stephen
Hacala for music and guitar education for students K-12 in the
Bentonville Public Schools to:

Charles Maurice Holt
January 9, 1923 - May 8, 2016
Bella Vista, Arkansas
Charles Maurice Holt, known as Charlie to his friends, 93, a resident of Bella
Vista, Arkansas passed away on May 8th, 2016. He passed away at Circle of
Life Hospice in Bentonville.

He was born January 9, 1923 in Dahlgren, IL to Lawrence Joseph and Laura
McCoy Holt. The family moved to Oklahoma City, OK where Charlie attended
elementary school and Classen High School. The family moved to Memphis,
TN where he met the love of his life, Ellen Claire Hatcher. They were married
June 1, 1942 and were to celebrate their 74th anniversary on June 1, 2016.
They had two children Beverly Kaye Hahn and Charles Holt Jr.

Charlie served his country during World War II in the China, Burma, & India
theater in the Army Engineer Corps. He was overseas in 1944 & 1945. He was
in the unit that built the Lido Road and the longest pontoon bridge of that time
across the Irrawaddy River in support of Merrill’s Marauders.

After the war Charlie and his family moved to Oklahoma City and began selling
used cars and trucks with his dad and RJ Maddox and then opened Holt Motor
Company in Oklahoma City in 1961. Charlie specialized in buying and selling
used trucks. He bought and sold vehicles across the States and was known for
his honesty and integrity.

Charlie and Ellen retired in 1980 moving to Rogers, AR and then to Bella Vista,
AR.

Charlie and Ellen were both very active in their local churches (Nichols Hills
Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, OK, Immanuel Baptist Church in Rogers AR,
Bella Vista Baptist, and Village Baptist Church in Bella Vista AR). Charlie was a
well-respected active teacher and deacon in all of those churches, teaching and
discipling many about The Lord.

Charlie loved his sweetheart 'Hon' and his family deeply, he enjoyed telling
stories, teased those he liked and had a wonderful laugh. Charlie was an excellent
golfer and at 72 years of age shot an even par 72.

Charlie had many friends in the community and has touched many lives in his 93
years.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry and wife, Lilo Holt
of Oklahoma City; and his daughter, Kaye Hahn.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Ellen of the home, his sweetheart of 76 years;
son, Charles M. Holt, Jr (Charlie J); daughter-in-law, Polly Holt; grandson,
Charles M. Holt III (Chaz) all of Monroe, OK; granddaughter, Kelly Lynn
(Hahn) Miller and husband, Kelly Gene Miller; great grandson, Jared William
Miller; great granddaughter, Allison Kate Miller all of Rogers, AR; and son and
daughter-in-love, John and Sharon Hahn of Rogers, AR.

Funeral services will be at 6:30PM, Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Stockdale-
Moody Funeral Chapel in Rogers with the Rev. Dale Thompson officiating.

Graveside services will be at 11:00AM, Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Memorial
Gardens cemetery in Oklahoma City, OK with military honors.

Frances "Nannette" Seaton
September 30, 1953 - June 2, 2016
Rogers, Arkansas
Frances 'Nannette' Seaton 62, of Rogers, AR passed away
Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Circle of Life Legacy Village Hospice in
Bentonville. She was born September 30, 1953 in Fayette, MO to
Elbert Hervie and Idress Parrick Collins.
Nannette will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Nannette is survived by her husband of 40 years, Richard Seaton;
two sons, Chris Seaton and Glenn Seaton and his wife, Trisha all of
Springdale, AR.
No services are planned at this time.

Nolan Sorrels
July 31, 1939 - September 2, 2016

Nolan Sammy Sorrels, 77, passed away at his
home in Bentonville, Arkansas on September 2,
2016.
A celebration of life service will be held at 6 PM,
Thursday, September 8, 2016, at Stockdale-
Moody Funeral Services in Rogers, Arkansas.
The graveside service will be at 12:00 p.m.
Friday, September 9, 2016, at the B.J.F. Trotter
Heirs Private cemetery, Scott County, Arkansas.
He was born to Nolan Irby Sorrels and Edith
Rosadelle Sorrels on July 31, 1939, in Pampa,
Texas and he married the love of his life Mildred
Claudeen Nowlin on December 21, 1963, in
Stanton, Texas.
Nolan served in the US Army. He was a Master
Gardener and 32nd Degree Master Mason. He
retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone
Company after 33 years of service and was a
member of the First Christian Church of
Bentonville.
Nolan loved gardening, windmills, old ford
tractors and genealogy. He was a wonderful
husband and father. He was blessed with a dry
sense of humor and one of his favorite sayings
was, 'Oh what a time we’re having!'
Nolan is survived by his wife of 52 years
Claudeen; his son Nolan (Skip) Sorrels and his
wife Connie, their children Amber, Megan and
Graham and Nolan’s daughter, Adena Handly
and her husband Jeff and their son Hunter.
Arrangements are by Stockdale-Moody Funeral
Services of Rogers.
