Rena McDowell

Rena Faye McDowell, 52, Hokes Bluff, who died Wednesday, May 30, 2007. She was the daughter of Nina Murdoch McDowell and the late John McDowell and was the niece of J.B Murdoch of Atkins. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Hokes Bluff, Ala., and was retired from the Gadsden Steam Plant. She was a 1973 graduate of Hokes Bluff High School. Rena spent the last 25 years in a wheelchair, as a result of an automobile accident which left her paralyzed from the waist down. She was a Christian who seldom complained and her Christian faith was strong. She was preceded in death by her father, John T. McDowell. She is survived by her mother, Nina Murdoch McDowell of Hokes Bluff, Ala.; a sister, Jana West and husband, Benny, of Hokes Bluff, Ala.; two brothers, Jimmy McDowell of Hokes Bluff, Ala. and Larry McDowell and wife, Debbie of Dothan, Ala.; nephews, Benjamin West and wife, Candy, Derric West and wife, Cindy, and Jesse Coffi a; nieces, Karen Lowery and husband, Scott, Shelby Bush and husband, Brian, Mandy Joyner and husband, Mark, Deanna Patterson and husband, Troy, Laura Overby and husband, Pres, and Emily McDowell and Anna McDowell; and great-nieces and nephews, Payton, Clay and Blaine West, Dylan Overby, Bailey Joyner, Austin and Aaron Bush, Haley and Brianna Lowery, Logan West and Reece Patterson. Funeral services were held May 30 at the Crestwood Chapel with the Rev. Anthony Copeland offi - ciating. Burial was in Crestwood Cemetery in Hokes Buff, Ala. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge. Pallbearers were her nephews.

Charles Pellham

Charles Oscar Pellham Sr., 83, a resident of Dover, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 8, 2007, at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He was born July 23, 1923, at Dover to Ezra and Ines Hickey Pellham. He was retired from the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department where he worked for 25 years. He was a United States Army veteran of World War II and was a farmer and avid gardener. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove Assembly of God. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Gail Hankins; and a brother, Elmer Pellham. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Lois Proctor Pellham of Dover; a son and daughterin- law, Charles and Michele Pellham of Raphine, Va.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Jim Bocksnick and Charlene and Jack Bocksnick all of Dover; a brother and sister-in-law, Delbert and Cora Lee Pellham of Dover; two sisters, Regenia Shields and Elsie Churchill both of Dover; six grandchildren, Erica Lackey and her husband, Jim, Jason Hankins and his wife, Audra, of Russellville, Lisa Bocksnick of Dover, Jesse Bocksnick of Dover, Dewayne Bocksnick of Dardanelle, and Katie Easter and her husband, Bobby, of Wynne; eight great-grandchildren; several nephews and nieces; and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Monday at the Pleasant Grove Assembly of God north of Dover with the Rev. Jackie Pledger, the Rev. Bobby Judkins, and Charles Pellham offi ciating. Burial was in Pollard Cemetery north of Dover under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service. Active pallbearers were D. H. Pellham, Gary Pellham, David Churchill, Billy Churchill, Tommy Barkley, and Kaleb Barkley. Honorary pallbearers were the men of Pleasant Grove Assembly of God. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association of Arkansas, 211 Natural Resources Drive, Little Rock, AR 72205- 9869.

Ivan Crouse

Ivan "Gene" Crouse, 77, a resident of London, passed away Friday, Aug. 18, 2006, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

He was born Feb. 20, 1929, at Skellytown, Texas to Leslie and Leona Redemer Crouse.

He was a United States Air Force and Army veteran of 17 years; he loved to fish; and loved dogs. Mr. Crouse was a clergy member of the Universal Life Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 39 years, Joyce Crouse; a son, Timothy Crouse; and a daughter, Patricia Crouse.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Joseph Homen of London; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Dean and Clella Crouse of Port Orford, Ore. and Darrell Crouse of Modesto, California; a sister and brother-in-law, Bev and Jim Murphy of Modesto, Calif.; and two grandchildren, Stacey and Kevin Homen of London.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006, at Shiloh Cemetery north of Atkins, with the Rev. Kenneth Lee officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph and Kevin Homen.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Post Office Box 1653, Topeka, Kan. 66601-1653.

Lorene Sauls

Lorene "Rene" Sauls, 91, of Russellville, the widow of Jack C. Sauls, died Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center.

A daughter of the late Noel Oswald and Emma Clyde Fisher Kenner, she was born March 23, 1916, in Oklahoma City, Okla.

She was a member of the Quilter's Club and the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Russellville.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Ann Sauls; and all of her brothers and sisters, Alta Jarmon, Fern Greene and William, Richard and Charles Kenner.

Survivors include her children, Ronald Dean and Patsy Sauls of Chickalah, Dr. C. Dan Sauls of Houston, Texas, Cheryl Sauls of Friendswood, Texas, John Henry and Vicky Sauls of St. Louis, Mo., Elyse Sauls Meaney and Mark Meaney of Denver, Colo.; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday at the Shinn Chapel officiated by the Rev. Don Erwin. Burial was in Rest Haven Memorial Park, by Shinn Funeral Service.

Sons and grandsons served as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Covenant Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 9101, Russellville, AR 72801.

Brenda Lawrence

Brenda Bull Lawrence, 53, of Morrilton, passed away Friday, Aug. 18, 2006.

She was born April 9, 1953 in Russellville to Joseph Daniel and Martha Nan Hudson Bull. Brenda was a Christian and member of the First Baptist Church.

She graduated from Hector High School, where she was an All-District Basketball player and was employed at the Arch Ford Educational Services Cooperative. Brenda enjoyed working her yard, camping, attending all sporting events, spending time with her grandchildren, and cooking (especially sweets). Her children, family and Lord Jesus are the most important.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Lawrence; a son, Bryan Lawrence of Morrilton; a daughter, Erin Andrews and her husband, Eric, of Benton; her parents, Joseph Daniel and Martha Nan Hudson Bull of Russellville; two sisters, Sandra Wright and her husband, Steve, of Tifton, Ga. and Rhonda Stephens and her husband, Jim, of Tahlequah, Okla.; and two grandchildren, Ethan and Anna Andrews.

Funeral services were Monday at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Brown and Rick Coan officiating. Burial was at Elmwood Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.

Pallbearers were Stan Larence, Duane Lawrence, Larry Lawrence, Blake Wright, Tim Adelman and Al Adelman.

Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children's Hospital, 800 Marshall Street, Little Rock, Ar. 72202-3951.

Warren Southard

Warren G. "Dick" Southard, 86, of Gravelly passed away Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006 at his home in Gravelly. He was born April 12, 1920 to Frank and Bertha Mae Turner Southard. He was a member of the Church of Christ, a WWII Army Veteran, and a member of the Plainview V.F.W. He was a retired land and cattle farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Owen, Charley and Willis Southard.

Survivors include his devoted wife of 53 years, Sylvia Deane Hunt Southard; a son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Patti Southard of Atkins; grandchildren, Andrea Dawn Crowder and her husband, Alex, of Perryville, Cameron Lee Southard and his wife, Brook, Brad Allan and Lori Southard of Atkins; great-grandchildren, Willian Sydney, Alexandrea Hope and Dylan Hunt Crowder of Perryville; sisters, Novalene Southard and Ilene Wood of Gravelly; a sister-in-law, Myrtle Southard of Paragould; and several nephews, nieces and friends.

Graevside funeral services were Friday at Parks Cemetery in Nola. Arrangements were by Cornwell Funeral Home in Danville.

Lillie Birge

Lillie Mae Birge, 94, of Russellville, died Sunday, Aug. 20, 2006, at St. Mary's Hospital.

She was born Feb. 16, 1912, in Pope County and was the daughter of the late Johnny and Jenney Deal Philpot.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, John R. Birge and a son, J. D. Thompson.

Survivors include five sons and four daughters-in-law, Rev. and Mrs. Jimmy Lee Noland of Conway, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Birge, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Birge, Tommy Birge and Rev. and Mrs. Ronnie Birge, all of Russellville; 19 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006, at the Damascus Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Stan Taylor and Rev. Jean Findley-Jones and Rev. Jim Findley officiating. Burial will be in the Pisgah Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be John W. Birge, Randy Noland, Travis Bewley, Taylor Bewley, Shawn Taylor and Tony Dixon. Honorary pallbearers will be Quentin Thompson and Othell Thompson.

Dora Bowden

Dora Bernell Bowden of Sand Springs, Okla. Passed away Saturday, July 29 at her home.

She was born on July 13, 1918 in Moreland to James William and Jennie Bewley Collins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray Bowden; and a daughter, Patsy Ray Mathena.

Bernell is survived by a sister, Anna Faye Jackson of Prattsville, Okla.; three brothers, J.W. Collins and wife, Sue, of Russellville, R.H. Collins and wife, Louise, of Russellville and Wyson Collins of Sand Springs, Okla.; three grandchildren, Kurt Mathena, Jan Cox and Tim Mathena; nine great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Funeral services were Wednesday, Aug. 2 at the Trinity Baptist Church of Sand Springs, Okla.

Glen Bowden

Glen Dean Bowden, 68, of Dardanelle, died Monday, Sept. 18, 2006, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.

A son of the late Carl and Tempie McCalister Bowden, he was born March 19, 1938 in Hector. He was a retired building contractor and was a member of Oakland Heights Assembly of God Church. He was very active in the ministries of the church as a dedicated Sunday School teacher and by helping in the nursing home ministries in both song and Bible studies.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Timothy Adam Bowden; and nine brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Bowden; a son, Robert Bowden; three daughters, Sonya Bowden of Russellville, Sheryl Carr of Atkins, and Glenna Berry of Van Buren; two step-daughters and step-sons-in-law, Connie and Bill White of Dardanelle; and Judy and Gary Entwistle of Bourbonnais, Ill.; a brother, Henry Otho Bowden of Russellville; a sister, Vera Standridge of Scotland; sixteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and his church family.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006, at Oakland Heights Assembly of God Church, officiated by the Rev. Roy Chisum and the Rev. Jon Birge. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle, by Shinn Funeral Service.

Active pallbearers will be the Reverends Jim Petty, Earl Hall, Josh Titsworth, Terry Solvos and Mack Reddell. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the funeral home.

Patrick Marable

Patrick W. Marable, 67, of Keller , Texas , died Friday, Aug. 4, 2006 in Hector.

Pat was the son of Claude and Hazel Churchill Marable. He was born Dec. 22, 1938 in Hector. He married Sue Ellen McLelland Sept. 28, 1963 in Atlanta , Ga. He was a U. S. Air Force Veteran. Having worked in the FAA Airway Facilities in the Southern Region as a radar engineer, Pat served the Southwestern Region as Airway Facilities Sector Manager in Oklahoma City , Okla. In 1989 he became Branch Manager of Engineering from which position he retired in 1991. Pat was an Aviation Consultant to the FAA in Washington , D.C. and had made his home in Texas since 1997. Pat was a pilot and enjoyed traveling with his wife. He was a member of the Methodist Church .

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Jacquelyn Dean and Willidean Biffle; one brother, Ronald Gene Marable; and three infant siblings.

Survivors include his wife Sue Ellen McLelland Marable of Keller, Texas.; one daughter, Michelle Ellen Marable of Spring, Texas; one son, Patrick Shelton Marable and wife, Eva Suzanne, of Dripping Springs, Texas; three grandchildren, Travis Ryan Reiss of Spring, Texas, Margaret Ellen Marable and George Patrick Marable of Dripping Springs, Texas; one brother, Larry Claude Marable and wife, Coleta Beth, of Bartlesville, Okla.; two brother-in-laws, Dr. James S. McLelland of Newman, Ga. and Terry S. McLelland of Union Springs, Ala.; many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services were Monday at Humphrey Chapel in Russellville. Rev. Randall Williams will officiate. Local arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.

Graveside services and Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. The service will be conducted by Dr. Robbins Sims at Mt. Billy Luningham

Billy Luningham, 68, of Russellville, died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

He was born Nov. 2, 1937, in Atkins and was the son of the late Cleve and Ruby Cothren Luningham. He worked in the construction field throughout his life.

His parents and a brother, Jerry Luningham, preceded him in death.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Kim Luningham of Russellville; a daughter, Judy Smith of Atkins; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Charles Luningham and Gary and Brenda Luningham all of Atkins; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Bonnie Ketchum of Atkins and Sherry and Ray Cossey of Hector; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Luningham of Atkins and one grandchild, J. B. Luningham.

Funeral services were Saturday at the Happy Valley Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Leonard Hodges and Rev. Ray Cossey officiating. Burial was in the Shiloh Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service.

Pallbearers were Allen Luningham, Terry Mackie, Garrick Luningham, Ellis Luningham, Kenny Linboom, and Harold Luningham. Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Fred Chronister, Donnie Ford, Garland Steuber and Joe Hurdle.

Esther Eno

Esther Eno, 75, of Salem , formerly of Russellville, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2006 at the Fulton County Hospital in Salem .

A daughter of the late George and Anna Meyer Winterboer, she was born May 18, 1931 in Everly , Iowa . She was a retired legal secretary, and a former employee of the Ladish Corporation (now Trinity). She was an avid horsewoman and a Presbyterian.

She was also preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jon and Sheila Eno of Dover; a daughter and son-in-law, Marjean Gail and Darrel Middleton of Dardanelle; two grandsons, Derek Middleton of Dardanelle and Darrel Middleton Jr., of Phoenix, Az.; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Funeral services were conducted by Shinn Funeral Service on Friday at the Shinn Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Darrell Kobs. Burial was in Pisgah Cemetery near Pottsville .

Active pallbearers were Darrel and Derek Middleton, Jon Eno, Ron Davis, Alan Windeknecht and Darrell Berry.

Rayburn Rackley

Rayburn Paul Rackley, 81, was departed this life on Saturday, July 22, 2006 in Locust Grove , Okla.

He was born on Sept. 15, 1924, in Pottsville , to Elmer Thurman and Hett Ona (Speer) Rackley.

Paul grew up and attended schools in Pottsville . He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. On Aug. 7, 1943 he married Alice Pauline Bohannon in Dardanelle. They would have celebrated their 63th Anniversary in August.

As a young man, Paul worked on a diary farm and delivered milk door-to-door. He had driven a truck for Oklahoma Furniture for some time and retired from Big 4 Service and Supply in Tulsa . He liked to garden and play with his grandchildren. He had been a part of the First United Methodist Church in Foyil. For the past six years, Paul had been a resident of Locust Grove, having moved there from Claremore.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Raymond, Thurman, Renn, and Rob Rackley; and two sisters, Dana Looper and Ola Watkins.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline, of the home; six children, Paulette Jackson and husband, Don, of Locust Grove, Okla., Leroy Rackley of Ponca City, Okla., Ronald Rackley and wife, Terry, of Fayetteville, NC, Barbara Brooks and husband, Reggie, of Guthrie, Okla., Mark Rackley and wife, Roni, of Claremore, Okla., and Sharon Leach and husband, Richard, of Locust Grove, Okla.; one brother, Dolen Rackley of Lubbock, Texas; three sisters, Lenora Teeter and husband, Bonner, of Lubbock, Texas, Ela Thompson and husband, Ed, of Little Rock; 26 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were Wednesday, July 26 at the Lighhouse Assembly of God Churc in Locust Grove , Okla. and officiated by Rev. Harry Jackson. Burial was in Rose Cemetery in Rose , Okla. by Locust Grove Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Dan Jackson, Ron Rackley, Jr., Jeremy Leach, Rayburn Brooks , Jason Leach, Johnny Bird, Richard Leach, Sr., and Jonah Lemley.

Esther Harris

Esther Harris, 92, of Atkins, died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2006, at the Atkins Nursing and Rehab Center .

She was born March 23, 1914, in Atkins, and was the daughter of the late Joe and Mattie Gipson Brock. She was a member of the Bells Chapel Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Harris.

Survivors include three sons, Cecil, Lonnie and Lewis Harris; five daughters, Coma Harris, Katy Ladd, Della Bruton, Fay Green and Martha Harris; 20 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, 26 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 9 at Lemley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Henry Clark and Rev. Jimmy Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Bells Chapel Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be Odis Story, Charley Harris, Joey Green, Jimmy Story, J. C. Ladd and George W. Harris. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Scruggs and Enoch Easter.

Cathryn Sorrels

Cathryn A. Sorrels, 87, of Atkins, died Monday, Sept. 19, 2006, at Russellville.

She was born April, 24, 1919, in Atkins, the daughter of the late Mike and Maggie Klar Ehemann. She was a lifetime member of the Atkins Church of the Asumption and was an avid gardener, specializing in flowers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlie Sorrels; a son, William Allen Sorrels; a grandson, William Thomas Fowler; five brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Julia Sorrels of Houston, Texas.; three daughters, Carole Jean Schwander of Russellville, Janet Kay Sorrels of Atkins, Kathy and husband, Tom Nauman, of North Little Rock; three sisters, Louise Kaufman of Hattieville, Josephine Payne of Little Rock and Martha Javregui of Madera, Calif; eight grandchildren, Sherry and husband, Steve Littlefield, Robert and wife, Christine Fowler, Stephanie and husband, Gary Jardine, Scott Nauman, Michael Nauman, Steven Nauman, Sarah and husband David Whitehead, Missy and husband, Shawn Bailes; five great-grandchildren, Jennifer and husband, Richard Robbins, Krystal Littlefield, Jordan and Austin Fowler, Hannah and Andreu Watson and Anna Whitehead; two great-great-grandchildren, Christopher and Stephen Robbins; five step-grandchildren, eight step-great-grandchildren, and thirteen step-great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 22, at Atkins Church of the Assumption with Father Ernie Hardesty officiating. Burial will be at Atkins Catholic Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be Dale Kaufman, Gary Kaufman, Steve Littlefield, Steven Nauman, Michael Nauman and Scott Nauman.

Visitation will be 6 p.m., Thursday, at Lemley Chapel followed by a Rosary Service at 7 p.m..

William Kuykendall

William H. "Hal" Kuykendall, Jr. "Papaw," 72, of Crowley, Texas, formerly of Malvern, went to be with his heavenly Father on Friday, Sept. 15, 2006 in Texas.

He was born March 25, 1934, in Malvern in the home of his parents, W.H. and Sylvia Kuykendall, and was raised on Pearla Hill. Hal was an avid tour guide to friends and family. He was retired from Bell Helicopter and he was formerly in the National Guard. He loved spending time with his family and also loved to fish and hunt. Hal also loved spending time with his many church families. He was a member of Living Water Church in Burleson, Texas. Most of all, Hal loved to write poems and songs about Jesus, his Savior.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Terry; a sister, Juanita; and a brother, Jimmy.

He is survived by two sons, Dean Kuykendall and his wife, Kristie, of Burleson, Texas and Charles Kuykendall of Crowley, Texas; two daughters, Debbie Jarvis of Burleson, Texas and Tammey Strickland and her husband, Steve, of Burleson, Texas; one sister, Betty Williamson of Cabot; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Jareb, Chris, Jake, and Zach; four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 21 at the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel in Malvern. Interment will be in the Francois Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In addition to the above listed services is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 24 at 3 p.m. at the Living Water Church of Burleson, Texas.

Arrangements are under the direction of Atkinson Funeral Home, Malvern, Ar. 501-332-2711.

Joe Baker

Joe D. Baker, 80, of Russellville, died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006 at his home.

He was born June 26, 1926, in Pope County and was the son of the late James Thomas and Orra Belle Blankenship Baker.

He was an Army Veteran of World War II and retired from the Pope County Road Department.

Survivors include his wife, Nona Ruth Johnson Baker; one daughter and son-in-law, LaWanna and Clifford Duvall; two grandchildren, Eric Duvall and wife, Amanda and Wesley Duvall; and two great-granddaughters, Emberlee Gail Duvall and Abbigail Grace Duvall all of Russellville.

Funeral services were Thursday at Lemley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Lee Chronister and the Rev. Jamie Burris officiating. Burial was in the St. Joe Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service.

Pallbearers were Eric Duvall, Wesley Duvall, Clifford Duvall, Charles Baker, Tom Lamar Crites and Lyndale Thacker.

Ricky Roper

Ricky M. Roper, Sr., 48, of Atkins, died Wednesday , September 13, 2006, at UAMS in Little Rock.

He was born March 11, 1958, in Lafayette, La., son of Billy Joe and Nancy Sue Harrison Roper. He graduated from Morrilton High School in 1976, attended Petit Jean Vo. Tech, retired Utility manager, licensed state plumbing inspector, held a class A water license, was a Southern Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Witt and Velma Ruth Harrison, Mode Roper, father-in-law, Charles E. Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Roper of Atkins; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky Jr.. and Kristen Roper and Craig M. and Mary Jane Roper all of Atkins; four grandchildren, Coalton, Kaylie, Allison Roper, and Erika Reid; parents, Billy Joe and Joann Roper and Nancy Sue and Bobby J. Barnes all of Russellville; mother-in-law, Faye Smith of Atkins; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis and Tammy Roper of Dover, Billy Joe Jr. and Melissa Roper of Russellville; and grandmother, Bernice Roper of Russellville.

Funeral services were Friday at Lemley Funeral Chapel with Bro. Sonny Crutchfield officiating. Burial was in Atkins City Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service.

Pallbearers were Jerry Head, Mike Tilley, Randall Gibby, James Bratton, and Randy Wallace.
