LAWRENCE E. GINN, a resident of Berryville, Arkansas was born August 1, 1917 in Tribbey, OK a son of Ira Theodore and Hattie Evelyn (McGehee) Ginn. He departed this life Sunday, April 21, 2002 in his home at the age of 84.
Mr. Ginn was a member of the Northside Missoinary Baptist Church, and was a painter, carpenter and farmer. He was a veteran having served his country during the Great Depression.
On April 29, 1941, he was united in marriage with Tabitha Evelyn (Wood) Ginn who survives him of the home. He is also survived by three sons, Larry and Vickie Ginn of Shell Knob, MO, Tommie and Charlotte Ginn of Rogers, AR and Charles Ginn and Marvin Cure of Houston, TX; five grandchildren; one brother, Gordon Ginn; two sisters, Ila Munsterman and Jean Gatlin; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Lewis and Irvy Ginn; and four sisters, Ruth Ayers, LaNora Nitchskie, Launa (Clark) Wolf and Nina Phelps.
Funeral services were 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 24, 2002 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bobby Clark officiating. Interment was in the Berryville Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.

E. DUANE (PETE) HOLMES, a resident of Berryville, Arkansas was born December 14, 1926 in Bluffton, Indiana a son of Robert Holmes, Jr and Edna H. (Johnson) Holmes. He departed this life Friday, April 12, 2002 in his home at the age of 75.
Mr. Holmes was a veteran having served his country during World War II. He worked as a computer programmer and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #297 in Ossian, Indiana, and the American Legion #111 in Bluffton, Indiana.
On February 7, 1948, he was united in marriage with Bonnie L. (Kleinknight) Holmes who survives him of the home. He is also survived by his daughter, Patty and her husband Cliff Warren of Berryville, Arkansas; his son, Mike Holmes of Pensacola, Florida his daughter, Cynthia Bennett of Rogers, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one brother, Francis Holmes of Bluffton, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Dennis K. Holmes.
Graveside funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, April 15, 2002 at the Berryville Cemetery with Rev. Pam Bolerjack officiating. Interment will follow in the Berryville Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.

HUNTER GRANT HOWERTON, a resident of Berryville, Arkansas was born April 21, 1976 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas a son of Glenn and Stephanie (Dahms) Howerton. He departed this life Thursday, March 21, 2002 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas at the age of 25.
Mr. Howerton was a construction worker and a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his father, Glenn Howerton of Eureka Springs; his mother, Stephanie Howerton of Berryville; a brother, Steven Howerton of Berryville; a son Dustin Lovall of Green Forest; his maternal grandmother, Norma Kirk of Lampe, Missouri; his step father Clifford Hamilton of Berryville; his step-mother, Joy Donley of Eureka Springs; seven step-sisters, Shelly Hamilton, Casey Norris, Christine Wilkenson, Christy Donley, Jennifer Donley, Kimberly Donley and Megan Donley; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ray and Janie Howerton; maternal grandfather, Billie Dahms; maternal great grandparents, Efton and Flossie Essary; paternal great grandparents, Walter and Pinia Drebensted.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 27, 2002 at the Rock Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Summers officiating. Interment will follow in the Rock Springs Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.

PAUL CHARLES MITCHELL, a resident of Berryville, Arkansas was born October 31, 1915 in Marion, Iowa to Augustus and May Dell “Mary” (Fuller) Seeling. He was later adopted by Ed and Gertrude Mitchell. He departed this life Thursday, January 31, 2002 in his home at the age of 86.
He is survived by two sons, Thomas Mitchell and his wife Kathy of Republic, Missouri and Steven Mitchell and his wife Geneva of Berryville, Arkansas; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
On September 12, 1937 he was united in marriage with Maude B. (Merritt) Mitchell who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Augustus and Mary Seeling, his adoptive parents, Ed and Gertrude Mitchell; four brothers and two sisters.
Mr. Mitchell’s remains were cremated.

THOMAS (TOM) PARKS, a resident of Berryville, Arkansas was born July 23, 1946 in Willimantic, Connecticut a son of Walter George and Mary Marguerite (Haworth) Parks. He departed this life Tuesday, April 16, 2002 in his home at the age of 55.
Mr. Parks was a veteran having served is country with the United States Marines during the Vietnam conflict. He worked as a salesman in the sporting goods department at Wal-Mart.
On June 3, 1983 he was united in marriage with Mary Lee (Emitt) Parks who survives him. He is also survived by a son Billy and his wife Cindy Menton of Caruthersville, Missouri; a daughter, Stacie Menton of Rogers, Arkansas; three brothers, Jerry and his wife Camille Parks of Allen, Texas, Robert and his wife Vickie Parks of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and James Park of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his parents, Walter and Mary Parks of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two grandchildren, Victoria and Hunter Menton both of Caruthersville, Missouri; five nieces and nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Lynn Parks.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 19, 2002 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Pam Bolerjack officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.

ORVILLE ANDREW WRIGHT, SR. a resident of Green Forest, Arkansas was born March 20, 1921 in Miami-Inspiration, Arizona a son of Martin and Hannah (Anderson) Wright. He departed this life Monday, April 22, 2002 in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 81.
Mr. Wright was a veteran having served his country with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Green Forest United Methodist Church, Yell Lodge #64, the American Legion and Veteran’s of Foreign Wars in Alpena. He was a farmer and timberman.
On June 20, 1940 he was united in marriage with Ethelyn M. (Still) Wright who survives him. He is also survived by his six children, Elizabeth and Hansel Bradford of Harrison, Arkansas, Anna Lee and John Kidwell of Warren, Arkansas, Orville Wright, Jr. of Berryville, Arkansas, Mary and Wayne, Thomason of Green Forest, Rebecca and Glen Grim of Boise, Idaho and Kathy and Nathan Chaney of Alpena, Arkansas; twenty-six grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; one sisters, Jewell and Randal Murphy of Little Rock, Arkansas; several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 26, 2002 at the United Methodist Church in Green Forest with Rev. John H. Kidwell and Kevin Robertson officiating. Interment was in the Roscoe Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.

JACKIE DALE ANDERSON, a resident of Green Forest, Arkansas was born July 15, 1954 in Menard, Texas a son of William Sidney, Sr. and Lenora Doris (Evans) Anderson. He departed this life Saturday, April 24, 2004 in Berryville, Arkansas at the age of 49.
Mr. Anderson was a veteran having served his country with the U.S. Army. He was an auto mechanic.
On January 2, 1973 he was united in marriage with Barbara Jean (Crow) Anderson who survives him of the home. He is also survived by one daughter, Gloria Jean Anderson of Green Forest; one son, Michael Wayne Anderson of Green Forest; his mother, Lenora Anderson of Eureka Springs; two sisters, Doris and her husband Bob Hoffman of Springfield, Missouri and Blanche Cate of Springdale, Arkansas; six brothers, Bill and his wife Sharon Anderson of Green Forest, Jimmie and his wife Wanda Anderson of Lowell, Arkansas, David and his wife Margie Anderson of Eureka Springs, Paul Anderson of Eureka Springs, Darrell and his wife Daphne Anderson of Eureka Springs and Soctt and his wife Jeanie Anderson of Eureka Springs; one granddaughter; many nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.

LILA AKERS, a resident of Holiday Island, Arkansas, was born November 2, 1929, in Urbana, Iowa, a daughter of Elmer E. and Anna Josephine Rouse. She departed this life Wednesday, June 16, 2004, in Holiday Island, at the age of 74.
Mrs. Akers was an accounting assistant. She attended the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
She is survived by two daughters, Yvonne Beebe of Carrollton, Texas, and Wendy and her husband Tony Jones of Grand Rapids, Minnesota; three grandchildren, Michelle Thomas of The Colony, Texas, Kendall Kramer of San Diego, California, and Miles Jones of Grand Rapids, Minnesota; three great grandchildren, Raelynn Kramer of San Diego, California, and Aaron Thomas and Nathan Thomas both of The Colony, Texas; her brother, John (Pete) Rouse of Marion, Iowa; a sister-in-law, Elenor Rouse of Holiday Island, Arkansas; other relatives; and a host of friends.
She was united in marriage with Freddie Akers who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Anna Rouse; her life friend, Clarence J. McEnany; and three brothers, Bud Rouse, Mike Rouse, and Duane Rouse.

ASHLEY NICHOLE ALVARDO, was born and passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2004, in Berryville, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Noael Alvarado and Imelda DeLa Cruz.
She is survived by her parents, Noael Alvarado and Imelda DeLa Cruz of the home; her brother, Noe Alavardo; a sister, Kayla Alvardo; grandparents, Alberta and Alma DeLa Cruz, and Juan and Maria Alvarado.

AARON DEWAYNE ZEIGLER, a resident of Berryville, Arkansas, was born November 27, 1987, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, a son of Mitchell David (Rusty) and Nancy Lillian (Redding) Zeigler. He departed this life Tuesday, June 1, 2004, in his home at the age of 16.
Aaron was a student at Berryville High School.
He is survived by his parents, Rusty and Nancy Zeigler of Berryville; his grandmothers, Gayle Zeigler of Berryville and Dorthey Redding of Lexington, Alabama; three uncles, Tim Redding and his wife C indy of Tennessee, Butch Redding and his wife Tracy of Alabama, and Cliff Zeigler and his wife Joyce of Eureka Springs; his aunt, Diane and her husband Daniel Dutton of Alabama; several cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, E.L. Zeigler and Robert L. Redding; and two uncles, Jimmy Redding and Steven Redding.
A private family service will be held at a later date.

MARZO MAE WRIGHT, a resident of Springdale, Arkansas, was born April 9, 1921, in Wichita, Kansas, a daughter of Marzo C. and Sue C. (McCormick) Wright. She departed this life Sunday, June 6, 2004, in Springdale at the age of 83.
Mrs. Wright was an office secretary for the United States Navy. She was a member of the Episcopal Church in Wichita, Kansas.
She is survived by her brother, James Wright of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; and five nephews, Bruce Wright of Eureka Springs, Scott Wright of Salt Lake City, Utah, Donald Wright of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Paul Wright of Tuson, Arizona, and John Wright of Kansas City, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marzo and Sue Wright.

DON WILLIAM WOLFF, a resident of Holiday Island, Arkansas passed away Tuesday in his home at the age of 81. He was born March 7, 1923, in New York, New York a son of Edwin and Ella (Gerity) Wolff.
He is survived by his daughter, Constance Eveland of Holiday Island.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, POB 1900, Green Forest, Arkansas 72638. Cremation arrangements were by Nelson Funeral Service.

JAMES MICHAEL (MICKEY) WISE, a resident of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2004, at the age of 54. Born December 9, 1949 in Ohio, Mickey spent many years in Northwest Arkansas before settling in Eureka Springs in 1997. An artist, musician, and master woodworker, Mickeys ebullient good spirits touched the lives of all he met. He loved babies, little kids, octagenarians, and everyone in between! Mickey is survived by his wife, Sandy; his children, Stacey Stringer and Andrew Wise; his brother, Dick Wise; his sister, Traci Wise; his mother, H. Patricia Wise; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, David; his father, Richard, in 1968, and by his beloved step-father, Donald A. Kocher on July 3, 2004. Mickeys body will be entombed in the family plot in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Decision Point, P.O. RITA LOUISE WHITE, a resident of Berryville, Arkansas, was born August 4, 1947, in Berryville, a daughter of Tommy and Nava (Youngblood) Perkins. She departed this life Monday, August 23, 2004, in Berryville at the age of 57. Louise was employed by Tyson Foods. She was of the Baptist Faith. On October 6, 1990, she was united in marriage with David White who survives her of the home. She is also survived by her sons, Mark Keeth of Erie, Colorado, and David Umland of Berryville; two brothers, Randy Perkins and Roger Perkins both of Berryville; her sister, Regina Renoude of Berryville; three grandchildren; one great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives; and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy and Nava Perkins.

CHARLES R. WELCH, a resident of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, was born February 21, 1933, in Neosho, Missouri, a son of Raymond and Lilly Gale (Campfield) Welch. He departed this lifeThursday, July 1, 2004, in Eureka Springs at the age of 71.
Charles owned and operated Charley's Restaurant in Gramby, Missouri, for 25 years. He was of the Christian Faith. He was a veteran, having served our country with the United States Marines during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Cathy Welch and Anthony Gragg of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; two granddaughters, Alexandria and Kayla; two grandsons, Jason and Joe; his very close friend, Gina Nunn; and many of his high school friends who helped care for Charles.
He was united in marriage with Grovene (Weakley) Welch who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Lilly Welch; and one sister, Nancy Cox.

RICHARD LEWIS LEE WAY, age 18 of Harrison, passed away May 29, 2004 at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri.
The son of Marcy (Foddrell) Ruff and Gary Way, was born October 4, 1985, in Berryville, Arkansas. He had lived in this area all his life, was an avid bowler and had won awards statewide
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Richard and Joan Foddrell.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Marcy and Shelby Ruff of Harrison; his father, Gary Way of Eureka Springs; two stepbrothers, Jesse and Terry Ruff both of Harrison; paternal grandparents, Lewis and Jane Way; and other relatives and friends.
Memorial funeral service was Thursday, June 3, 2004, at Crossroads Community Church with Johnny Walters officiating under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home.

RICHARD W. “VAN” VANARSDALE, a resident of Shell Knob, Missouri was born October 9, 1934 in Kechi, Kansas a son of Joseph and Jean (Hanna) Van Arsdale. He departed this life Monday, May 17, 2004 in Monett, Missouri at the age of 69.
Mr. Van Arsdale worked in the maintenance department for an air craft company. He was a member of the Fairview Antique Auto Club in Fairview, Missouri.
He is survived by his son, Richard G. and his wife Irene VanArsdale, of Andover, Kansas; a daughter, Terry and Evert Mallatt of El Dorado, Kansas; two brothers, Donald VanArsdale of Edwardsville, Illinois and Max VanArsdale; two sisters, Joretta and her husband, Wendall Anderson of Middleburg, Florida and Karen and her husband Jack McQueen of Clearwater, Kansas; five grandchildren, Heath and wife Marie VanArsdale of Wichita, Kansas, Eric and wife Mary VanArsdale of Phoenix, Arizona, Heather Mallatt of Dover, Delaware, Kim Mallatt and Mary
Mallatt of Wichita, Kansas; one great grandson, Michael VanArsdale of Wichita, Kansas; his very dear friend, Edna Lukon of Monett, Missouri; many close friends and acquaintences.
On June 21, 1954 he was united in marriage with Gladys Marietta (Williams) who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Jean VanArsdale, a sister Eva and four brothers, Ralph, Kenneth, Keith and Jerry.

JAMES KERRY TRIMBLE, 80, of Berryville, Arkansas passed away Monday, August 16, 2004, in Springfield, Missouri after many years of battling heart disease. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, P.O. Box 144, Berryville, AR 72616. The loving support of many good friends is much appreciated by the family. James Kerry Trimble was born August 17, 1923, along with his twin sister, Martha Carol (who preceded him in death) in Berryville. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and U.S. Congressman, Jim Trimble. He was a graduate of West Point Military Academy and a member of the Corps of Engineers, and had a long and successful career working in many places around the world. He is survived by his wife, Mary Eileen and eight sons; James, Fred and wife Sue, Brent, Vance, Sam, Ted, Richard and Gabriel. He is also survived by six stepchildren; Holly Reetz Trimble, Tony and wife Char, Albert, Joe, Nancy, and Jerry Reetz. James Kerry Trimble was a member of First Christian Church and Berryville Rotary Club. His wonderful example of friendliness and courage will be greatly missed by all.

HERBERT THOMASON, a resident of Berryville, Arkansas was born October 27, 1928 in Denver, Arkansas a son of Clifford and Thelma (Collins) Thomason. He departed this life Friday, May 7, 2004 in Berryville at the age of 75.
Mr. Thomason was a veteran, having served his country with the U.S. Army during Korean Conflict. He was member of the Southern Heights Baptist Church and the Gideon’s International. Until his retirement, he worked as a museum curator.
On January 15, 1956 he was united in marriage with Beatrice (Walker) Thomason who survives him. He is also survived by his daughter, Coetta and her husband Michael Lindt of Dallas, Texas; a grandson, Chadwick and his wife Suzanne Lindt of Ft. Worth, Texas; granddaughter, Michelle Lindt of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Dale Thomason of Berryville and Wayne Thomason of Green Forest; one sister, Beverly West of Green Forest; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

HENRY SWOFFORD, a resident of Shell Knob, Missouri, was born May 4, 1930, in Navoo, Missouri, a son of John Frank and Goldie Jane (Lightle) Swofford. He departed this life Wednesday, June 2, 2004, in Shell Knob at the age of 74.
Henry was a farmer and a carpenter.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Janice Swofford of Shell Knob, Missouri; two daughters, Carolyn and her husband, Steve Reser of Carbondale, Colorado, and Diane Swofford of Springfield, Missouri; four grandchildren, Terra Treadwell, Christy Weadon, Billy Swofford, and Jodie Swofford; one niece; one nephew; and other relatives.
On February 7, 1951, he was united in marriage with Lila Faye (Clifton) Swofford who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents, John and Goldie Swofford.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 5, 2004, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville, Arkansas, with Rev. Hap Anders and Rev. Lonnie Stockton officiating. Interment will be in the McGuire Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. MARGARET (PEGGY) SWINDELLS, a resident of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, was born February 20, 1919, in Umatilla, Florida, a daughter of John Howard Dutill, Sr. and Ethel Mae (Kennedy) Dutill. She departed this life Sunday, July 25, 2004, in Springdale, Arkansas, at the age of 85.
Peggy was a homemaker. She was a veteran, having served our country with the United States Navy during World War II. She attended St. Gabriel,s Church in Springdale, Arkansas. She was a member of the Abendschone Chapter of NSDAR.
On August 17, 1941, she was united in marriage with Walter R. Swindells who survives her of the home. She is also survived by two sons, Mark Beaumont Swindells of Anaheim, California, and Scott Kennedy Swindells of Grants Pass, Oregon; two daughters, Lesley Townsend and Holly Simpson both of Fresno, California ; brother, John Howard Dutill, Jr. of Florence, Kentucky; three sisters, Dorothy Merrill of Umatilla, Florida, Janet Fitzgerald of Montgomery, Alabama, and Jean Delp of Pinellas Park, Florida; nine grandchildren; one great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews; other relatives; and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ethel Dutill.

LORI ANN SPEARS, 44, of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, died suddenly, Thursday, July 22, 2004, at the Eureka Springs Hospital. She was born January 30, 1960, in Wichita, Kansas. She resided with her father, Jim Spears and her step mom, Alice. She was preceded in death by her birth mother, Ruth Matthews Spears. Lori was a member of the First Christian Church where she was active in the Women for Christ and her weekly Bible Study Group. She was an avid stamp collector and corresponded internationally with many pen pals. She is also survived by her birth father, Don Collier and his wife Mary Lou, of Coffeyville, Kansas; and several step brothers and step sisters. Lori will be mourned by a host of friends. All lives touched by Lori have been blessed.

BARBARA SOUTHWICK-PYLE, a resident of Holiday Island, Arkansas, was born October 29, 1931, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, a daughter of Clifford Alden and Florence Palma (Hakala) Schoonover. She departed this life Tuesday, June 2, 2004 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, at the age of 72.
Mrs. Southwick-Pyle was a bookkeeper at the Crescent Hotel. She was of the Lutheran Faith. She loved antiques, Flowers, jewelry, her dog Twinkie, and her cats, Elvira, Morris, and Tittles.
On May 15, 2004, she was united in marriage with Boyd T. Pyle, Sr. who survives her of the home. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Laurie and Dave Becking of Florence, South Dakota; her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Debbie Southwick of South Shore, South Dakota; a sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Gary Owen of Longmont, Colorado; her brother and sister-in-law, David and Mary Ann Schoonover of Hayti, South Dakota; two grandsons, Jason Weeks of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Jessee Weeks of Watertown, South Dakota; two granddaughters, Melissa Weeks of Watertown, South Dakota and Kelley Southwick of South Shore, South Dakota; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and a host of friends.
In 1952, she was united in marriage with Wayne Southwick who preceded her in death in 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Florence Schoonover.

JOE C. SEITZ, a resident of Springdale, Arkansas, formerly of Green Forest, Arkansas, was born August 26, 1918, in Green Forest a son of F.M. and Mable (Buell) Seitz. He departed this life Wednesday, June 2, 2004, in Springdale at the age of 85.
Mr. Seitz was a business manager in retail sales. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Green Forest. Mr. Seitz was a veteran, having served our country with the United States Navy during World War II.
He is survived by his sister, Ruth Farris of San Antonio, Texas; and two nieces, Susan Blackburn of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and Sally Carter Edgley of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, F.M. and Mable (Buell) Seitz; three brothers, Herman Seitz, John Seitz, and Frank Seitz; and one sister, Ruby Seitz.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 7, 2004, at the Nelson Chapel in Green Forest with Rev. David Hanshaw officiating. Interment will be in the Glenwood Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, POB 770, Green Forest, Arkansas 72638.

MARVIN C. RUSSELL, a resident of Green Forest, Arkansas, was born July 22, 1919, in Grand Quivira, New Mexico, a son of Claud and Annie Ruth (Jones) Russell. He departed this life Monday, June 28, 2004, in Green Forest at the age of 84.
Marvin was a farmer and he also worked in oil fields in Texas and New Mexico. He was a veteran, having served our country with the United States Army during World War II, where he was taken as a P.O.W. Marvin was a member of VFW.
On November 3, 1950, he was united in marriage with Laverne (Palmer) Russell who survives him of the home. He is also survived by his son, Gerald Russell of Springfield, Missouri; his daughter, Sharon Manan Green of Roby, Texas; two brothers, Ferrell Russell of San Antonio, Texas, and Tommy D. Russell of Green Forest, Arkansas; one sister, Sylva Palmer of Green Forest; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claud and Annie Russell; two brothers; and one grandson.

JACK CLIFTON ROBERTSON, a resident of Green Forest, Arkansas, was born September 23, 1936, in Romero, Texas, a son of Alton T. and Ruby Alice (White) Robertson. He departed this life Friday, July 2, 2004, in Berryville, Arkansas, at the age of 67.
Jack was a 1954 Green Forest graduate. He was an electrician and a cattleman. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Green Forest. Jack was a veteran, having served our country with the United States Army during Peacetime.
On October 18, 1958, he was united in marriage with Peggy Lou (Tharp) Robertson who survives him of the home. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Janell Robertson of Green Forest; his granddaughter, Erin Rose Robertson of Green Forest; two brothers, Alton (Chimp) Robertson, Jr. of Hooker, Oklahoma, and Dalton Robertson of Viern Heim, Germany; two sisters, Barbara Branscum of Grapevine, Texas, and Marilyn Scaggs of Keller, Texas; his father-in-law and wife, Clay and Mildred Tharp of Green Forest; a step-brother, Levi Phillips, two step-sisters, Virginia Usrey and Dixie Spicer; three nieces, and three nephews, several other relatives; and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Ruby Robertson.

STEPHEN (STEVE) LENN PIPPIN, a resident of Ridgedale, Missouri, was born December 30, 1964, in Berryville, Arkansas, a son of Standlee Dewey and Connie (Crow) Pippin. He departed this life Wednesday, July 7, 2004, in Ridgedale at the age of 39.
Steve was a construction worker. He attended the Ozark Mountain Community Church.
On June 3, 2004, he was united in marriage with Laquita Ann (Stults) Pippin who survives him of the home. He is also survived by three daughters, Jaime Sanchez, Brooke Pippin, and Sharon Smith all of Olathe, Kansas; his son, Patrick Pippin of Olathe; his step son, Steven Stults of Ridgedale, Missouri; his parents, Standlee and Connie Pippin of Olathe; one sister, Paula Pippin of Olathe, Kansas; his grandfather, Paul Ericksen of Overland Park, Kansas; five grandchildren; three nieces; one nephew; six aunts; two uncles; other relatives; and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Anna Mae Ericksen; his maternal grandparents, Chester and Della Mae Crow; his half brother, Harry Gene Crow; and two uncles, Jackie Anderson and Glen Crow.
Memorial funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 10, 2004, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kevin Kuech officiating. Pallbearers will be Kevin DeNoon, Randy Lang, Pat Deaton, Roger Crow, Bobby Harp, Kendall Chance, Dave Caven, and Kent Pettyjohn.
