Deon Demitri Boyd
Mr. Deon Demitri Boyd, age 25, of Little Rock, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2000.
Mr. Boyd was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce Ann Boyd, of Little Rock; his father, John Lee Wilson, of St. Louis, Mo., a son, Dion'te Boyd of Little Rock, a daughter, Dametra Boyd of Little Rock, two sisters, Nakita Boyd, Misty Boyd, both of Little Rock; a brother, Damarco Boyd, of Little Rock; his step-father, James Humphrey; of Little Rock; and grandparents, John and Eva Wilson, of Haynes.
Visitation services for Mr. Boyd will be Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000, from 6-8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healy and Roth Funeral Home in Little Rock. Funeral services for Mr. Boyd will be Friday, Dec. 8, 2000, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Griffin Leggett Healy and Roth Funeral Home, Little Rock.

Lynn Halbert Cranor
Mrs. Lynn Halbert Cranor of Forrest City died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2000, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City. She was 73.
Mrs. Cranor was born May 28, 1927, in Palestine, and was the daughter of James Henry Halbert and Gladys Gunner Halbert. She lived in St. Francis County most all of her life, was retired from the Arkansas Department of Health Area 9, and was a member of the Caldwell Baptist Church.
Mrs. Cranor married Earl B. Cranor in 1946, and he preceded her in death in 1998.
She is survived by three sons, Howard Cranor of Forrest City, Halbert Cranor of Rockville, Maryland and Finley Cranor of Russellville; one daughter, Lynn Dilfer of Okinawa, Japan; three sisters, Billye Jones of Gulfport, Miss., Emily Abel of Kingsport, Tenn., and Olive Clark of Prescott, Ariz., nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cranor will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, 2000, at the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Bell Cemetery with Stevens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Caldwell Baptist Church.

Constance Tamika Allen
Miss Constance Tamika Allen, age 24, of Forrest City, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2000, at Baptist Memorial Hospital.
Miss Allen was born on July, 7, 1976 in West Memphis. She was the daughter of Cota Bernard Allen, of Madison and Glenda Renee' Ward, of Forrest City.
She is survived by her parents and a son, Jamius Mills, of Forrest City; three brothers, Craig B. Allen, of Memphis, Timothy Pamplin, of Sigonella, Italy, Thurlo Ward II, of Forrest City; two sisters, Ouida Allen, of Madison, and Rhonda Allen, of Forrest City.
Funeral services for Miss Allen were held today, Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000, at St. Luke A.M.E. Church with Rev. E.J. Outley officiating the service. Burial followed at Scott-Bond Cemetery. Clay Funeral Home was in charge of the service.

Marie Tomlin Benson
Mrs. Marie Tomlin Benson, age 79, of Forrest City, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2000, at Crittenden Memorial Hospital in West Memphis.
Mrs. Benson was born on March 15, 1921, in Palestine. She was the daughter of Tom Tomlin and Rosie Hinton Tomlin.
Mrs. Benson is survived by her husband, Floyd Benson, of Forrest City; four daughters, Delores Jackson, of Gary, Ind., Evelyn Brittnum, Linda Love, Janis Benson, all of Forrest City; two sons, Ronnie Benson, of McDonnough, Ga., Ricky Benson, of Forrest City; two sisters, Lucille Mickens, of Forrest City, Ruth Tate, of St. Louis, Mo.; a brother, Tommy Tomlin, of St. Louis, Mo; 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Benson will be Friday, Dec. 8, 2000, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Woodhouse Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 9, 2000, at 1 p.m., at United Christian M.B. Church, with Rev. Ricky Benson officiating. Burial will follow at Stanley Grove Cemetery. Woodhouse Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.

Mable Clark
Mrs. Mable Clark, age 81, of Forrest City, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.
Mrs. Clark was born on June 24, 1919. She was the daughter of William Riley Luker and Lillie Annison Luker. Mrs. Clark was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Clark and a son, Jessie Clark. She is survived by four sons, Floyd Clark, of Little Rock, Larry Clark, of Forrest City, Gary Clark, Jerry Clark, both of West Helena; three daughters, Shirley Summerhill, of West Helena, Peggy Clark, Faye Clark, both of Forrest City; 21 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Clark will be Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Morgan Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Dec. 8, 2000, at 10 a.m., at Morgan Chapel with Bro. E. Thomason officiating. Burial will follow at Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.

Martin F. Knowlton
Mr. Martin F. Knowlton, age 32, of West Helena, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2000, at Helena Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Knowlton is survived by his mother, Willie Marie Knowlton, his step-father, Calvin Bryant; a son, Martin F. Knowlton Jr., of West Helena; a daughter, Marquita Morris Knowlton, of West Helena; three brothers, Milton Knowlton, of Chicago, Ill., Peter Knowlton Jr., of West Helena, Stacey Knowlton, of San Antonio, Texas; three sisters, Carla Smith, of West Helena, Lorri Knowlton, of West Memphis, LaSwanna Knowlton, of Jonesboro.
Visitation for Mr. Knowlton will be Friday, Dec. 8, 2000, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Chapel of Browns Home for Funerals in West Helena. Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 9, 2000, at 11 a.m. in the Greater First Baptist Church, in West Helena with Rev. Arthur Hughes Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in West Helena. Browns Home for Funerals will be in charge of the arrangements.

Margaret Eldridge
Margaret Eldridge, age 86, of Forrest City, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2000, at her home.
She was born June 30, 1913 in Colt and was a retired farmer.
She is survived by a brother, Robert Eldridge of St. Louis, Mo.; and a sister, Mary Olivia Eldridge of St. Louis, Mo.
Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 11, 2000 at Clay Funeral Home from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held graveside Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, at 9 a.m. at Casteel Cemetery with Rev. Timothy Forrest officiating.
Clay Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Dick Lindley
Mr. Dick Lindley, age 80, of Wynne, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2000, at Baptist Central Hospital in Memphis.
He was born Jan. 14, 1920, in Wynne to Charlie Lindley and Tempie Draffin Lindley. He lived in the Harris Chapel Community all his life, was a member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, E.W. Lindley and Sterling Lindley, and two sisters, Carrie Sanders and Juanita Cook.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Lindley of Wynne; a son, Danny Lindley Sr. of Colt; two daughters, Sandra Lamb of Memphis, Tenn., and Sheila Longstreet of Jackson, Miss.; two brothers, Jack Lindley and Yuell Sanders, both of Wynne; two sisters, Charlene Lawson and Vivian Horton, both of Wynne; four grandchildren and [DEMO]eat-grandchild.
Visitation will be held today, Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Kernodle Funeral Home in Wynne. Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 11, 2000, at 1 p.m. at Kernodle Funeral Home Chapel in Wynne with Rev. Lawrence Britton and Rev. Robbie McMaster officiating. Burial will follow at Harris Chapel Cemetery in Wynne under the direction of Kernodle Funeral Home.
The family requests that memorials be made to the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 644 CR 724, Wynne, Ark. 72396 or the Alzheimers Association, Midsouth Chapter, 3960 Knight-Arnold Road, Suite 215A, Memphis, Tenn. 38118.

General B. Williams
Mr. General B. Williams, age 51, of Forrest City, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2000, at Baptist Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct. 22, 1948, in Forrest City, to Jerome and Ruby Williams. He was a former factory worker at Ford Motor Company.
He is survived by his wife, Annie M. Williams, of Forrest City; his mother, Ruby Williams, of Forrest City; a son, Ronald Williams, of Chicago, Ill.; a daughter, Patricia Williams, of Chicago, Ill.; six brothers, David Williams, of Little Rock, John James, of Gary, Ind., Carl Williams, Edward Williams, Jerome Williams Jr., and Richard Williams, all of Forrest City; nine sisters, Joyce Williams, of Atlanta, Ga., Velma Thompson of Arlington, Texas, Mary Morton, Lavern Alexander and Claudine Gordon, all of Chicago, Ill., Rita Phillips, Carolyn Jackson, Jean James and Pauline Daniel, all of Forrest City; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 11, 2000, at Clay Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, at Salem M.B. Church from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, at 1 p.m. at Salem M.B. Church with Elder Elsie Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Casteel [DEMO]ry under the direction of Clay Funeral Home.

Thomas Bruce Wilson
Mr. Thomas Bruce Wilson, age 62, of Germantown, Md., died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2000, at the Shadow Grove Nursing Home in Rockville, Md.
Mr. Wilson was born Sept. 15, 1938, in Little Rock to William Conway Wilson and Lillian Emerson. [DEMO]ed in the Washington D.C. area most of his life, worked as an engineer for the Department of Defense, was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and was a Presbyterian. He was a graduate of the University of Arkansas.
He is survived by two brothers, Richard Wilson of Hagarstown, Md., and Harry Wilson of Forrest City.
Services will be held graveside Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 1 p.m. at Edgewood Cemetery in North Little Rock with Rev. Floyd Whatley officiating. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge locally.
