Rick Williams
Richard 'Rick' Williams, age 52, of Morrilton, died Friday, March 2, 2007 at Saint Anthony's Healthcare Center.
He was born Feb. 9, 1955 in Kansas City, Mo., and was a construction worker. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Guy Wesley Williams.
Survivors include his wife, May Williams; eight sons, Shawn, Patrick and Jason Williams, all of Pennsylvania, Ritchie, Michael, Christopher and Justin Watkins, all of Atkins, and Trent Williams of Morrilton; his mother, Nadine Williams of Russellville; two sisters, Raymella and Greg Petty of Benton, and Ramona Williams and Lynn Ferguson of Russellville; two nieces, Karissa and Krista Petty of Benton; and several grandchildren, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A graveside service and burial will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville, officiated by Rev. Ray Boyd. Arrangements are by Shinn Funeral Service.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, c/o Judy Murphy, Pope County Memorial Chairman, 126 Lakeview Circle, Russellville, AR 72802.

Lillian Aday
Lillian Aday, 94, of Hector, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center.
Arrangements will be announced by Humphrey Funeral Service.

Eunice Conway
CLARKSVILLE - Eunice M. Conway, 92, of Mesa, Ariz., died Saturday, March 17, 2007, at Mesa.
She was born Oct. 14, 1914, at Coal Hill.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond Conway; two sons, Jerry Conway of Mesa, Ariz., and Tom Conway of Northglenn, Colo.; a daughter, Judy Featherstone of Marietta, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2007, at Coal Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Dorothy Duesterbeck
Dorothy Jean Duesterbeck, age 81, of Russellville, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 26, 2007, at the Shinn Chapel with the family receiving friends from 5 to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Claudia Hunt
DANVILLE - Claudia Hunt, 84, of Havana died Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at Chambers Memorial Hospital.
Born July 3, 1922, in Union Hill, she was the daughter of Claud and Rosa Osbourn Parker. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Charles Hunt; daughter, Brenda Moeller; sisters, Ruby Vaughn, Zell Kennon, Lucille Herron and Syble Miller; and grandsons, Greg and Thomas Hunt.
Survivors include her husband, Ray Hunt; son and daughters-in-law, Parker and Mary Hunt, and Wanda Hunt; daughters and sons-in-law, Anna and David Thornton, Helen and Jim Coots, and Jim Moeller; sister, Willo Owens; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Danville Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 tonight.

Buena Thompson
DARDANELLE - Buena Pearl 'Bea' Thompson, 68, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2007, at Cornwell Chapel. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Donna Barnum
Donna C. Barnum, age 61, of Dover, died Thursday, July 5, 2007, at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock.
A daughter of the late Wayne and Elizabeth Love Harold, she was born Oct. 16, 1945, in Clarksville. She was a former employee of Con-Agra Foods, a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Russellville. She was also preceded in death by a sister.
Survivors include her husband, Myron "P.T." Barnum; a son, Chuck Barnum of Pensacola, Fla.; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Mike and Ora Jane Harold of Russellville, David Harold of Mobile, Ala., and Larry and Pat Harold of Phoenix, Ariz.; and a sister and brother-in-law, Maribeth and Cecil Finn of Washington.
The family will conduct a memorial service at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2007, at St. Benedict Catholic Church at Subiaco, officiated by Abbott Jerome Kodell. Burial of the cremated remains will be in Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Clarksville. Cremation arrangements are by Shinn Funeral Service.

Florence Boggs
CLARKSVILLE - Florence Gilbert Boggs, 80, of Clarksville died Saturday, July 7, 2007, at Clarksville Convalescent Home.
She was born Jan. 14, 1927, at Clarksville, daughter of the late Marvin 'Slick' and Della Wise Gilbert, widow of Mitchell Boggs, and a member of Coal Hill Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include sons, Robert Patterson and wife, Georgiana, of Hartman, Ronnie Patterson of Long Beach, Calif., and Mike Patterson of Clarksville; a daughter, Marlene Cooper and husband, Jody, of Clarksville; a brother, Blackie Gilbert and wife, Thelma, of Clarksville; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bob Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Lamar Cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Service.

Chad Ferguson
ATKINS - Chad Ferguson, 32, of Atkins, died Saturday, July 7, 2007.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 12, at Lemley Funeral Chapel.
Visitation will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Arrangements are by Lemley Funeral Service.

Saundra Hope
Saundra Lynn Harris Hope, age 64, of Russellville, entered Heaven on Sunday, July 8, 2007, after a 23-year battle with cancer.
She was born Sept. 29, 1942, in Pine Bluff to Woody and Evelyn Harris of Russellville. She was active in the medical business and for five years was an alderperson in Sherwood. She was a faithful member of Second Baptist Church in Russellville and was a member of the local chapter of Military Officers Association of America.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her loving husband of 43 years, Bob; a daughter and son-in-law, Anissa and Kendall Berry of Mechanicsville, Va.; a son and daughter-in-law, R. J. and Jennifer Hope of Olathe, Kan.; a sister, Sharon Harris of Maumelle; two brothers, Richard Harris of Tulsa, Okla., and Ronnie Harris of North Little Rock; and four grandchildren, Brad and Alex Berry and Chase and Addison Hope, of whom she was very proud.
A church memorial service will be conducted by Shinn Funeral Service at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Second Baptist Church in Russellville. A time of visitation will follow in the church fellowship hall.

James Morphis
James H. Morphis, age 86, of Russellville, died Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center after a long illness.
A son of the late Walter Joseph and Carrie Chenowith Morphis, he was born Aug. 8, 1920, in Pope County. He was the owner/operator of the former J. H. Morphis Truck Lines for more than 35 years, and received two Bronze Stars while serving in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was with the 10 MT. Division in Italy, landing in Naples on Christmas Eve, 1944. His division began moving north quickly, pushing the German Army back. They also fought through the Po Valley, which took 14 days and nights on foot from town to town. Several times they had to wait for fresh troops to be brought up to replace those who had fallen. The division had made it all the way to the Brinner Pass the day it was announced that the war was over. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Russellville. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Linda Chenowith.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Nova Lee Morgan Morphis; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Linda Morphis of Bryant; John and Cherryl Morphis of Rogers, and Don and Donna Morphis of Concord, N.C.; a son-in-law, Raymond Chenowith of Russellville; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Carl Morphis and his friend, Georgia Whorton, and Charles and Lila Morphis, all of Russellville; a sister, Juanita Hankins of Russellville; nine grandchildren, Lisa Nelson of Atkins, Laura McGuire of London, Penny Harris, Robby Chenowith and Misti Chenowith, all of Russellville, Jennifer Meek of Rogers, Greg Morphis of Waco, Texas; and Kris Morphis and Kurt Morphis, both of Charlotte, N.C.; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at First Assembly of God officiated by the Rev. Ronnie Morris, the Rev. Keith Underhill and the Rev. C. L. Dixon Jr.
Burial with military honors provided by the Rogers-Rye Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2283 will be in Oakland Cemetery in Russellville by Shinn Funeral Service.
Active pallbearers will be Robby Chenowith, Don McGuire, Michael McGuire, Greg Morphis, Kurt Morphis and Greg Nelson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dean and Joe Grisby, Jimmy Hamilton, Dr. Tim Lankford, T. A. Metz, Richard Spears and Dr. Jeff Yates.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to First Assembly of God Building Fund, 124 E. G St., Russellville, AR 72801; or Arkansas Hospice, 2405 E. Parkway, Suite 3, Russellville, AR 72802.
