Harvey Edward Truesdell, 81, of Sun City, a dentist, died June 8, 2003. Mr. Truesdell was born in Presho, S.D., and moved to Sun City in 1992 from Omaha, Neb. Frederick Guerra, 79, of east Mesa, died Saturday, May 17, 2003, in Mesa. Mr. Guerra, a musician, was born in Boston, Mass. He is survived by his wife Ruth; daughters Denise Coughlan, Paula Gralinski, and Nina Guerra; sons Frederick Jr. and Chris; sister Melinda Maitino; brother John and 12 grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 27, at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 E. Broadway Road. Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care handled arrangements.
Lois Smith Brusman, 86, formerly of Sun City, died May 19, 2003 in Minnesota. Born in Indiana, Ms. Brusman was an accomplished violinist, a string supervisor for schools and was active in the Elkhart, Ind., Symphony. She was also active in the Symphony of the West Valley. She is survived by a son, William; daughter, Betsy Steele; five grandchildren and three sisters.
