Florence E. Fehrenbach, 83, of east Mesa, died March 11, 2003, in Mesa.
Mrs. Fehrenbach, a homemaker, was born in Fargo, N.D.
She is survived by her daughters Karen Card and Sandra Grenz; sons Wayne and Francis; son-in-law Arney Card; sister Haldis "Holly" Nelson; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Donald Herbert Brooks, 84, of east Mesa, died Feb. 28, 2003, in Mesa.
Mr. Brooks, a vice president at Continental Phone Company and U.S. Navy veteran of WWII, was born in Bismarck, N.D.
He is survived by his wife Agnes and sisters Cecil Snider and Alice Brooks.
Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care handled arrangements.

Keith W. Jones, 80, of east Mesa, died March 3, 2003, in Phoenix.
Mr. Jones, a WWII U.S. Army veteran, was born in Provo, Utah.
He is survived by his wife Roma; daughter Judith Ann Walter; son David N. Walter; sisters Geraldine Taylor and Nelma Hawkins and three grandchildren.
Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care handled arrangements.

Chloe Dimple Trent, 82, of east Mesa, died March 2, 2003, in Mesa.
Mrs. Trent, an artist, was born in Roda, Va.
She is survived by her daughters Barbara Newell, Lana Green, June Lawniczak, and Vallerie Verbeck; sons Gary and Galen; sister Florida Marie Moke; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Frederic A. Baker, 87, of Sun City, died Feb. 17, 2003. Born in Michigan, he is survived by his wife, Anna; daughter, Jerri Lou Jone; son, James; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Sunland Mortuary.

Norman R. "Bob" Comeau, 69, of Sun City, died Feb. 23, 2003. Born in Michigan, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Comeau is survived by his wife, Juanita; sons, Paul and Donald; one sister, one brother and four grandchildren. Sunland Mortuary.

Fannie M. Erickson, 82, of Sun City West, a homemaker, died Feb. 23, 2003. She moved to Arizona from Indiana. Camino Del Sol Funeral Chapel.

Iva H. Kohler, 94, of Sun City, died Feb. 23, 2003. She moved to Arizona from New York. Sunland Mortuary.

Sandra "Sandi" Kuruovich, 52, of Sun City West, died Feb. 25, 2003. She moved to Arizona from New Mexico. Sunland Mortuary.

Lester Laegeler, 94, of Sun City, a pharmacist and drug store owner, died Feb. 21, 2003. Born in Highwood, Ill., he moved to Arizona in 1975. Mr. Laegeler is survived by his daughters, Judy Kistler and Janet Uecker; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services.

Clarke Lester Newman, 83, of Sun City West, a postmaster, died Feb. 16, 2003. Born in Waynesboro, Pa., he served in the U.S. Army in the European Theater during World War II and received the Purple Heart. Mr. Newman is survived by his wife, Majorie; daughter, Mary Blair; three sisters and three brothers. Camino Del Sol Funeral Chapel.

Majorie J. Nys, 86, of Sun City, died Feb. 21, 2003. Born in Illinois, she is survived by her daughter, Marjana Callery, and four grandchildren. Sunland Mortuary.

Floyd B. Patterson, 79, of Sun City, a machine operator, died Feb. 24, 2003. Born in California, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Menke Funeral Home.

John J. Percival, 70, of Sun City West, an accountant, died Feb. 25, 2003. Born in Pennsylvania, he served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Percival is survived by his wife, Louise. Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services.

George L. Poe, 89, of Sun City, died Feb. 22, 2003. Born in California, he is survived by his wife, Angeline; son, Elwyn, and three grandchildren. Sunland Mortuary.
