Thelma Louise Opatrny, 88, of Sun City, died Sept. 25, 2003. Ms. Opatrny was born in Leroy, Ill. She was a retired assembler in a factory. Ms. Opatrny is survived by sisters, Hazel Madary, Majorie Vance, Maureen Garpe; brothers, Paul, Vernon, and Merle Spratt.
James Ollie Maxwell, 81, of Sun City, died Sept. 25, 2003. He was born in Lexington, Tenn., and moved to Sun City from California in 1998. Mr. Maxwell, widowed, was the owner of a turf supply company. He also served in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by daughters, Carrie Maxwell of Mesa; Eve McAtee of Long Island, N.Y.; Julie May of Costa Mesa, Calif,; son, Joseph Maxwell of Long Island, N.Y.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Kay Engstrom, 66, of Sun City, died Sept. 26. 2003. She was born in Antigo, Wis., and moved to Arizona in 2000 from Racine, Wis. She was a homemaker.
