Joyce E. Mueller, 66, of Queen Creek, died May 29, 2003, in Queen Creek.
Mrs. Mueller, a homemaker, was born in Chili, Wis.
She is survived by her husband Daniel; sons Timothy, Rusty and Chris; daughters-in-law Marsha, Karen, and Alice Mueller; sisters Joan Prust and Janth Williams; brothers Bernard and Ted Drescher and grandchildren Tracy Bennett, Alicia, Amanda, Timothy, Jessica, Daniel and Joshua Mueller.
Desert View Chapel handled arrangements.

Carol S. Simmons, 67, of Apache Junction, died May 22, 2003, in Mesa.
Mrs. Simmons, a homemaker, was born in Pittsburgh, Penn.
She is survived by her husband Edward; daughters Sue Seibert, Linda Burke and Cheryl Simmons; son Edward Simmons, Jr.; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Apache Junction Mortuary handled arrangements.

Marvin Burdette Wilhite, 82, of Apache Junction, died May 22, 2003, in Mesa.
Mr. Wilhite, a truck driver, was born in Rockwell, Iowa.
He is survived by his daughter Jane Marie Bitger; sons James and David; brother Dale and three grandchildren.
Apache Junction Mortuary handled arrangements.

Willis E. Bates, 82, of Apache Junction, died May 23, 2003, in Scottsdale.
Mr. Bates, a carpenter, was born in McKean, Penn.
He is survived by his wife Catherine Wolf Bates; sisters Lavina Toots and Bertha Toots and many nieces and nephews.
Apache Junction Mortuary handled arrangements.

Robert Schmidt, 49, of Ellensburg, Wash., and a former resident of Apache Junction, died May 27, 2003, in Washington.
Mr. Schmidt, a fire chief, was born in Kansas City, Kan.
He is survived by his wife Carol; daughter Rachel; sons Soren and Joel; sisters Asta and Rebecca Anderson and brothers George Hagan and David Schmidt.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society or the Ellensburg Fire Department Life Support Fund.

Anthony V. Anzelmo, 67, of Apache Junction, died May 27, 2003, in Mesa.
Mr. Anzelmo, a computer programmer, was born in Chicago, Ill.
He is survived by his wife Leslie; daughters Elizabeth Leonard and Leslie Bombin; sons James and Michael Dolan; brother Philip and six grandchildren.

Menett "J.R." Stalter, 65, of Apache Junction, died May 13, 2003, in Apache Junction.
Mr. Stalter, a retired steamfitter and plumber, was born in Van Wert, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife Nancy; daughters Vicki Boraker, Nina Chen, Teri Enyeart and Shannon Roerick; sons Cary and Tony; sisters Doris McCanless, Ann Strawn, Betty Leighton, Carol Mulanax, Pat Statler and Cathy Statler; brothers Jim, Bob, Mike, Dave, Bruce and Steve; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care handled arrangements.
