My greatgrandfather: George Washington Young came to Galveston,Texas area probably 1915/1917 storm era to work on RR damage across the Causeway. George W. Young lived in Mobile/Stockton Ala. thru 1910 census. He was an engineer with a RR out of Mobile. He came to work on the damage. He died here and was buried in Texas somewhere between what was then Houston-Galveston, Texas. He was married to Willie Alice(Jarvis)(Martin-1st marriage)Young who was still back in Stockton,Ala. His children: Georgia Lucille,Inez,Leroy and Hamilton Hastie Young. Searching for George Washington Young's obituary and burial site here in Texas.
