Born July 26, 1948, in Mexico, he lived in San Marcos for 15 years. He did maintenance for Valdez Landscape.
Mr. Flores is survived by his companion of 17 years, Herminia Blanco of San Marcos; seven daughters living in Mexico and California; four brothers of Mexico; six sisters; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today, May 16, at Eternal Hills Mortuary. A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, at Eternal Hills Mortuary. A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Eternal Hills Mortuary. Burial will follow.

L'Rhue Threlkeld, 85
ESCONDIDO - L'Rhue Threlkeld, 85, died Friday, May 12, 2000, of a heart attack, in Las Vegas.
Born Feb. 9, 1915, in Shelbina, Mo., he lived in Escondido for 13 years. He worked for Kaiser Steel Corporation in Fontana retiring in 1977. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War and was a member and past president of Anglers of Escondido.
Mr. Threlkeld is survived by his wife of 55 years, Emily Threlkeld of Escondido; son and daughter-in-law Richard and Eloise Threlkeld of Los Osos; daughter and son-in-law Janet and Ken Manell of Escondido and Lois Threlkeld of Los Angeles; brother Robert Threlkeld of Hemphill, Texas; sisters Noreen Bemiss of Sun City, Ariz., Bonnie Cook of Kenosha, Wis., and Betty Hallmark of Webb City, Mo.; grandchildren Kristine Cooper, Karol Manell, Evan Threlkeld, Darren Threlkeld and Colin Threlkeld; and great-grandchildren Paige and Trenton Cooper.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 26, at Church of Saint Timothy, with the Rev. James Rafferty officiating. A private inurnment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Esther Eden, 89
ESCONDIDO - Esther M. Eden, 89, died Wednesday, April 26, 2000, in Escondido.
Born Dec. 8, 1910, in Riege, Neb., she lived in Escondido since 1920. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and lived in the Heritage Hoffman house, now in Grape Day Park, for almost 60 years.
Mrs. Eden is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Gary and Debbie Eden; sisters Martha Thompson, Selma Heman and Eleanor Jensen; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today, May 16, at Oak Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. James Young officiating.

Eladio Ruelas, 30
ESCONDIDO - Eladio "Fernando" Ruelas, 30, died Sunday, May 14, 2000, in San Diego.
Born Aug. 6, 1969, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, he lived in Escondido for 21 years. He was a life-skill vocational counselor for Network 21.
Mr. Ruelas is survived by his wife of 12 years, Angie Ruelas of Escondido; mother Carmen Ruelas of Escondido; father David Ruelas of Modesto; brother David Ruelas of Modesto; sisters Angelica Gonzalez, Blanca Mays, Irma Navarro, Hilda Avila and Lilly Gonzalez, all of Escondido, and Erica Ruelas of Modesto; six nephews; and seven nieces.
Viewing will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. today, May 16, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. A private inurnment will take place at a later date at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Julia Bacuetes, 86
SAN MARCOS - Julia C. Bacuetes, 86, died Friday, May 12, 2000, in Escondido.
Born Oct. 8, 1913, in Calbigo Samar, Philippines, she lived in San Marcos for 16 years. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Bacuetes is survived by her husband of 65 years, Juan Bacuetes of Escondido; sons Megenaro Bacuetes of San Jose, Feliciano Bacuetes of the Philippines, Santos Bacuetes of San Diego, Andy Bacuetes of San Marcos, Magdaleno Bacuetes of Escondido and Rodrigo Bacuetes of Las Vegas; daughters Rosa Issa of San Marcos, Marieta Hanke of San Marcos, Laticia Carter and Cristita Bacuetes, both of San Jose, and Madrona Eistol of the Philippines; 20 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A private service was held Sunday, May 14, at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary.

Raymond Abbott, 83
RAMONA - Raymond R. Abbott, 83, died Friday, May 12, at a local hospital.
Born Feb. 9, 1917, in Wakefield, Mich., he lived in Ramona for 41 years. He served as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne in Central Europe during World War II and owned a body and fender shop in MIchigan and Ramona. He also owned a chicken ranch in Ramona and was a member of Grace Community Church and the National Rifle Association and a life member of Disabled American Veterans.
Mr. Abbott is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mable Abbott; son and daughter-in-law Jerry and Karolyn Abbott; daughters and son-in-law Madelyn and Jim Holmquist and Francine Abbott, all of Ramona; brothers Roger Abbott and Thomas Abbott, both of Arizona; sisters Elizabeth McCaughey and Dorothy Phillips, both of Arizona; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, at Bonham Bros. & Lee Ramona Chapel. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, at Grace Community Church. A committal service and burial will follow at Ramona Nuevo Memory Gardens, with the Rev. Paul Nelson officiating.

Jeanette Albright, 91
RAMONA - Jeanette M. Albright, 91, died Friday, May 12, 2000, at a local hospital.
Born Jan. 24, 1909, in Chicago, she lived in Ramona for 23 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bellevue Baptist Church in Chicago and Ramona First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Albright was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Albright, on April 30, 1989. She is survived by her sons, Tom Albright of Wake Forest, N.C., and Ray Albright Jr. of El Cajon; daughter Sue Albright of Ramona; nine grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today, May 16, at the old Ramona First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Gary Bassham officiating. A committal service and burial will follow at Ramona Nuevo Memory Gardens, where she will be buried with her late husband.

SAN MARCOS - Grace Main, 79, died Saturday, May 13, 2000, at her home.
Born May 18, 1920, in Neche, N.D., she lived in San Marcos for four years and in Oceanside for 10 years. She was a dietitian for the Covina Unified School District for 25 years and a homemaker.
Mrs. Main is survived by her husband, John Main of San Marcos; son Richard Dehart of Poway; stepson Robert Dehart Jr. of North Bend, Ore.; brothers and sisters; grandchildren JoEllen and Michael Orcini, Karlene and Edward Textor and Paul Dehart; and great-grandchild Sherri Textor.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, at Palomar Community Church in Vista, with the Rev. Charles Ivans officiating. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., and burial will follow at San Marcos Cemetery.

JoAnne Wells, 77
SAN MARCOS - JoAnne Gildner Wells, 77, died Sunday, May 14, 2000, at a local hospital.
Born Feb. 18, 1923, in Kearney, Neb., she lived in San Marcos for 27 years. She was a homemaker for 54 years.
Mrs. Wells is survived by her husband of 54 years, Orrin T. Wells of San Marcos; son Douglas Wells of Redlands; daughters Susan Welsh of Long Beach, Candace Griffing and Dianna Hobbie, both of Fort Collins, Colo., and Laurie Wells of Vancouver, Wash.; brother Will Gildner of Las Vegas; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, at the First Congregational Church of Escondido, with the Rev. James E. Fredette officiating. A private cremations with inurnment is planned.

Milford MacMillan, 80
LAKE SAN MARCOS - Milford H. "Bud" MacMillan, 80, died Thursday, May 11, 2000, at his home.
Born Nov. 24, 1919, in Eagle Rock, he lived at Lake San Marcos for 20 years. He was a contractor for 50 years and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Mr. MacMillan is survived by his wife, Roseanne B. MacMillan of Lake San Marcos; son Dan MacMillan of El Monte; daughter Florence Heacock of Wildomar; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, at Allen Brothers Mortuary, San Marcos Chapel, with the Rev. Richard Matson officiating. A private cremation with interment is planned.

Phyllis Robeck, 78
VISTA - Phyllis Lenore Robeck, 78, died Friday, May 12, 2000, at her home.
Born June 26, 1921, in Marlinton, W.Va., she lived in Vista for 48 years. She served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
Mrs. Robeck is survived by her son, John McLean of Oceanside; daughter Jo McLean of San Diego and Jennifer McLean of Cockeysville, Md.; brother Marry Lynn Sheets of Marlington; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
No local service is planned. Burial will take place at Mountain View Cemetery in Marlinton.

Ivy Schmid, 88
OCEANSIDE - Ivy Louise Schmid, 88, died Saturday, May 13, 2000, at Sunlands Convalescent.
Born Oct. 4, 1911, in London, she lived in Oceanside for 16 years. She was the owner of Ivy's Restaurant in Hawthorn for 25 years and a member of the Christian Science Church in Vista.
Mrs. Schmid is survived by her daughter, Carol Masner of Culver City; and two grandchildren.
No formal service is planned. A private cremation will be held with burial to take place at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.

Murl LeRoy Parker, 84
DESERT HOT SPRINGS - Murl LeRoy Parker, 84, died Monday, May 15, 2000, of congestive heart failure and leukemia, at Manor Care Nursing Home in Palm Desert.
Born January 4, 1916, in Grand Ledge, Mich., he lived in Vista for 15 years. He worked for the Carpenters Union in Vista and was the general manager for GATX in San Pedro before retiring. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and Moose Lodge.
Mr. Parker is survived by his wife of 33 years, Jacqueline Parker of Desert Hot Springs; sons Jay Parker of Crete, Ill., Bruce Leibfried of Vancouver, Wash., and Ronald Parker of Saginaw, Mich.; daughters Ronie Banning and Donna Roberts-Hedeen, both of Vista; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

OCEANSIDE - Arthur B. Walloch, 80, died Saturday, May 13, 2000, in Oceanside.
Born May 26, 1919, he lived in Oceanside for 17 years. He was an insurance agent for Prudential Insurance before retiring and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Mr. Walloch is survived by his wife of 30 years, Marion Walloch of Oceanside; son Richard Walloch of Seattle; brother Chester Walloch of Chicago; and three grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 19, at Mission San Luis Rey Parish Chapel, with the Rev. Michele Gagnon officiating. Burial will follow at Mission San Luis Rey Cemetery.

Adriana Stevens, 78
OCEANSIDE - Adriana G. Stevens, 78, died Friday, May 12, 2000, at a local hospital.
Born on the Isle of Capri in Italy, she lived in Oceanside since 1950.
Mrs. Stevens was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Errichiello Gandais; her father, Agosto Gabriele Gandais; and her brother, Arnoldo Gandais of Italy. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Roy Kundtz of Oceanside; brother and sister-in-law Paolo and Karin Gandais of Milan, Italy; sisters Laura Gandais of Udine, Italy, and Lidid Barbensi of Rome; nephew Andrea Gandais of Milan; and niece Elena Barbensi of Rome.
Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 19, and a Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m., at the Old Mission San Luis Rey, with the Rev. Al D. Capuchino officiating. Interment icon will follow at the Mission San Luis Rey Cemetery.

ESCONDIDO - Dollie Idell Wimmer, 84, died Saturday, May 13, 2000.
Born Jan. 31, 1916, in Docoma, Okla., she lived in Escondido. She was a professional cake decorator and caterer and a credentialed teacher. She provided a senior citizen's taxi-valet service for 21 years and was a member of Christian Womens Club, Native Daughters, Fraternal Organization of Eagles, Pocahontas Organization, all of Chico, and Fraternal Order of Eagles of Escondido.
Mrs. Wimmer is survived by her husband, Wilbur Wimmer; sons and daughters-in-law Samuel and Monica Wimmer and John and Jody Wimmer, all of Santa Rosa, Timothy and Sandra Wimmer of Federal Way, Wash., and Mark Wimmer of Escondido; brothers and sisters-in-law George Bayouth, James and Julia Bayouth, Mel and Sally Bayouth and David Bayouth, all of Wichita, Kan.; sisters and brother-in-law Mabel Budgett of Bellflower, Woodell Leavell of Wichita and Mary Ann and John Kiefer of Tucson, Ariz.; grandchildren Scott and Tracy Wimmer, Matthew and Cindy Wimmer, Jonathan Wimmer, Trever Wimmer-Rae, Brenda Ruscigno, Bruce and Lori Crips and Brian and Annika Cripps; and great-grandchildren Lauren and Aurora Ruscigno and Kiana Cripps.
