Loving mother of Bill (Susan) Bourne of Bobcaygeon and Marilyn (Doug) Fuller of Innisfil. Grandmother of Charles, Sam, Patty and Tracey. Great-grandmother of 7. Sister of William Robinson of London, Rod Robinson of Bobcaygeon, Wanda Sarrazin of Aylmer, Quebec and the late Mary, Ruby and Ileen. At Helen's request a private family service was held. Interment Springbank Cemetery, Clarkson. William "Bill" Bird of Bobcaygeon, in his 73rd year, passed away at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, Ontario on Sunday June 11, 2006. He was a retired member of U.A. Local 46 Plumbers & Steamfitters Union. Beloved husband of Faith Caroline. Kenneth Comrie - passed away at Ross Memorial Hospital on October 15, 2004 in his 89th year. A man whose gentleness, generosity and sense of humour were appreciated by his family and friends. Loving husband and companion of Sheila (McCreath) and the late Audrey (Broatch) (1990). Ken enjoyed an active life as Past Master and life member of Birch Cliff Masonic Lodge #612, Past Secretary of Verulam Lodge #268. Former Session Clerk of Fallingbrook Presbyterian Church, Scarborough. Founding member and Past President of Scarborough Kiwanis Club. Member of RCL Branch #239, Dunsford Golf Club and life member of Bobcaygeon Curling Club, Commissioned Officer, 8th Recce Regt., 2nd Div., NW Europe. Retired President and co-owner with brother Ian of Comrie Lumber Co., Scarborough, Ajax and Pickering. Cremation has taken place. A service of celebration of his life will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Bobcaygeon, on Saturday, October 23, 2004 conducted by The Rev. Paul Johnston and assisted by The Rev. Kent Garrett. Keitha Cunningham passed away at Pinecrest Nursing Home on Thursday, May 12, 2005, after a long illness. She was born in Bobcaygeon in 1910 to Mary and Richard Braine and lived her whole life there, except for a brief time while working in Toronto before her marriage to Laurence Cunningham in 1936. While Laurence continued to operate his barbering business, they bought Stonyhurst Inn in 1947 and operated it until the late sixties. They then bought a house on Minns Avenue. After a couple of years they built a new home next door at 172 Minns Avenue. Keitha leaves her husband Laurence of 66 years, one sister, Thelia Douglas of Brechin, her daughter Mary Lynn (Bill) Finley, two grandsons Aaron Finley and Todd (Anita) Finley and three great-grandsons Luke, Logan and Jack. Keitha is predeceased by her siblings Percy, Innis, Reg, Gert, Irene and Helene. Family and friends will be received at Monk Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 from 1 p.m. until service time in the chapel at 2 p.m. Interment Verulam Cemetery.

passed away on May 24, 2005 after a brief illness. Laurence Cunningham was born in Omemee. He started to learn the barbering trade when he was seventeen with Jimmy Brooks in Omemee. He spent some time cutting hair in Bobcaygeon and Burlington. Eventually he came back to Bobcaygeon and boarded with Mary and Richard Braine and met their daughter Keitha who would become his wife for almost 67 years. Laurence barbered until he was in his mid-seventies. Keitha and Laurence owned Stonyhurst Inn for over 20 years. He was very involved in the community. He was a Reeve of Bobcaygeon, a member of the library board, an avid golfer and loved to hunt, canoe and fish. In April of this year he was awarded his 70 year pin from the Masonic Lodge. His wife Keitha recently predeceased on May 12, 2005. He leaves his daughter Mary Lynn (Bill) Finley, grandsons Aaron Finley and Todd (Anita) Finley and great-grandsons Lucas, Logan and Jack. Family and friends are invited to gather for a funeral service at the Monk Funeral Home, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon on Tuesday, May 31, 2005.
