Dorothy Summers - (Retired from De Havilland) Peacefully, at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on November 9, 2005 in her 90th year. Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved George and was the mother of Nancy Orchard of Bracebridge and the proud and loving grandmother of Laurie Atherton of Brampton and Rod (Ikuko) Orchard of Toronto. Mom was also blessed with two beautiful great-granddaughters, Sara Atherton of Brampton and Momoko Orchard of Toronto. Dorothy was also the “adopted mom” of Helen Bell of Bobcaygeon. Mom will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. The family would also like to thank her friends and neighbours who helped and sat with her when we could not be here.
