Harry Tuvi - passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of the late Adeline Tuvi. Dear friend of John and Stephanie Bajcer of Whitby. Friends will be received at MONK FUNERAL HOME, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon (1-866-393-0063) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Funeral service in the Monk Chapel on Saturday, February 4, 2006 at 11 a.m. In memory of Harry, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Rita VanSickle of Bobcaygeon, formerly of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at Pinecrest Nursing Home, Bobcaygeon, on Sunday, November 13, 2005. Wife of the late Harold VanSickle. Loving mother of David (Susan) VanSickle, Montreal and Mary Elizabeth (Fred) Mitchell, Bobcaygeon. Grandmother of Jamey (Chantelle) VanSickle; Eric VanSickle, Jason (Andrea) Mitchell, Meaghan Mitchell, Matthew Mitchell and the late Mark. Great-grandmother of Zoe VanSickle and Ethan Mitchell. Sister of the late Mary, Oswald and Genevieve. Loved by her nephew and nieces. Ronald Williamson - After a courageous battle with cancer, Ron passed away peacefully at home, on June 27th, 2004 in his 73rd year. Left to mourn are his beloved wife and best friend Joan; devoted daughters Lynn Warren and her husband Graham and Terry Woolner and her husband Bruce; his cherished grandchildren Ryan, Dan, Kristine, Stephanie, Jon, Melissa, Corrie, Cindy and Cait; goddaughter Lori Stiver and her husband Warren and their children Nicole and Benjamin; brother Maurice Williamson and his wife Mary. He will be sadly missed by his adoring nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son David. Ron was a lifetime employee of Bell Canada until his retirement in 1984. We wish to extend our special thanks to caregiving personnel and Dr. Kevin Gibson and Dr. John Beamish of Peterborough. Elizabeth Gertrude "Betty" Wheeler - At Pinecrest Nursing Home,Bobcaygeon on Wednesday, August 31, 2005, Betty Wheeler in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Flight Sergeant Cyril Harold Thomas (1944) and the late Philip Robert Wheeler (1969). Loving mother of Faith Caroline and her husband William Bird, Bobcaygeon. Predeceased by son Arthur Edward Thomas (1988) and stepdaughter Rosamund Edith Thompson (1991). Loving grandmother of Joseph Bird and wife Anne of Ajax, Valerie and husband Rik Robinson, Richmond Hill and Laura and husband Scott Duncan, Garden Hill. Also survived by her great-grandchildren Jason and Melissa Robinson, William and Philip Bird and Andrew Duncan. Dear grandfather of Christopher Gagnon of Fort Myers, Florida; Cory Gagnon of Kitchener, Ontario; Bethanie Gagnon of Bobcaygeon, Ontario; Rebecca Rutherford of Port Hope, Ontario; Andrew Warner of Cobourg, Ontario; and Elizabeth Warner of Guelph, Ontario. Dear great-grandfather of Edwin Warner of Cobourg, Ontario and Jonas Gagnon of Fort Myers, Florida. Brother of Faith Warner of Sarnia. In the early morning hours of April 30, 2006 the very frail physical body of Donald Paul Whyte released him to his eternal home in his 69th year. Don was the son of Milson & Beatrice Whyte and brother of Ross Whyte & Lois Smith, all predeceased. He is survived by his oldest brother, the Rev. Wallace Whyte of West Hill, ON. Don was born and raised in Bobcaygeon. Don was the ¡°Life Breath¡± to his wife Marcia Geraldine (n¨¦e Chambers) Whyte; much loved father of Melanie Grace (Mark) Silver of Coboconk & Teresa Dawn (David) Richter of Barrie. He was saddened by the death of his only son, Darien Paul Whyte of Newfoundland on September 29, 1999. Don & Marcia were blessed by 2 grandchildren ¨C Shannon (Steve) Johnstone of Cobourg & Shawn Silver of Alberta. Visitation will be at Monk Funeral Home, 6 Helen St, Bobcaygeon (866-393-0063) from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00 ¨C 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2nd, with the funeral service taking place on Wednesday, May 3rd, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. HELEN "NANCY" WALTERS passed peacefully on July 15th, in Bobcaygeon, on her birthday, in her 90th year. Survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Clifford (Biff) Walters, daughter Donna, granddaughters Heather and Lesley as well as great grandchildren James and Jessica. Predeceased by her brother Ian. Nancy`s wonderful sense of fun and her joyful outlook on life will be lovingly remembered by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched. Florence was a long-time member of the Salvation Army, Lindsay.
