Gone to be with Jesus whom he loved and served May 4th, 2003 at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus, in his 77th year of R, R, 1 Fergus. Dear husband of Marie (nee Reesor) Brubacher. Loving father of Pauline (Doug) Musselman of Kitchener, Janet (Morley) Bauman of Haiti, Linda Brubacher of Victoria, Lori (Kyle) Barber of Stouffville, Ron (Karen) Brubacher, Sheila Brubacher of Elora, and Jeff (Jen) Brubacher of Conneticut, and 17 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Brother to Vera Wideman, Jean Brubacher, Robert Bauman, Lena (Earl) Martin and Landis (Violet) Brubacher. Pre-deceased by his parents George and Elvina Brubacher, sister Esther, brother in law Abner, children Lucille, and Carl and grandson Owen. His faith , family, farming and friends were his passions in life. Family and friends may call at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL 280 ST. DAVID ST. S. FERGUS. From 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Wednesday May 7th. Burial service at Bethel Mennonite Church at 1;00 P.M. Thursday May 8th for family. Peacefully on Wednesday December 11th, 2002 at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus , in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Jack of Belwood. Loving mother of Barry and his wife Joyce of Fergus, Darrell and his wife Shirley of Marryhill, Wayne and his wife Lorraine of Belwood, and Kevin and his wife Kim of Alma. Dear grandmother of Michelle, Brad, Jason, Derek, Scott, Justin, Andrew, Chelsea, Jacob, Mark, and Rachel. Dear sister of Earl Gailbraith, Lila Wade, Audrey Carr, Herman Gailbraith, Truman Gailbraith, Laverne Gailbraith and Beverly Trudgeon. Peacefully, and with dignity, into the arms of Jesus, at her home in Elora, surrounded by her family on Sunday January 26, 2003. Adelle Aitchison in her 72nd year, after a courageous struggle with cancer.
Beloved wife of the late Jack Aitchison (1996). Loved mother of Donna and Kevin Ashton of Goderich and Bill and Jane Richardson of Fergus. Special Nana to Katelyn and Jordon Ashton and Miranda and Bradley Richardson.
Survived by sisters Joan Herron and Gary of Guelph, Cathy Bootsman and Marty of Fergus, Rosemary Bott and Dave of R.R. #4 Fergus and brother Raymond and Dianne McKeown of Hamilton. Sister-in-law of Barb McKeown of Stoney Creek and Bill Bergin of Burlington. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Margaret McKeown, sister and brother-in-law Mary and Cy Richardson, sister Dorothy Bergin and brother Eddie McKeown and three nephews Vince McKeown, Rob McKeown and Joe Bergin.

McCarthy, Agnes (Laveck, nee Driscoll)
Passed away peacefully on Monday December 29, 2003 at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late James McCarthy (2003). Loved mother of Pat and Charlie Bayliff, Ted and Vivian Laveck, Jean Laveck, Betty and Dan Nixon and Marg and Vic Anderson. Loving grandma to 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by the McCarthy Family. Dear sister of Neil and Winn Driscoll, Frank and Florence Driscoll, Helen Humphrey and Anne and Robbie Robertson. Predeceased by her husband Edward Laveck, parents Frank and Violet Driscoll, brother Jack and sister Teresa. Friends will be received at Graham A. MORDEN: J. Allan "Al"
Passed away peacefully at the Grand River Hospital, K-W Health Centre, Kitchener on Monday December 22, 2003, aged 76 years. Al was a former employee of the University of Guelph and before retirement he was an architectural draftsman for the experimental farms in Ottawa for 16 years. Loved and missed by his wife Marguerite (nee Culp) of 55 years. Dad will be missed by Linda Fader and her husband John of Innerkip, Larry Morden and his wife Penny of Stittsville, Brenda McSorley of Mineville, Nova Scotia and Diane Morden of Ottawa. Dear Papa of Ken, Kathy, Jason, Jodi, Sarah, Brian, Alyssa and Sarah and Jessica; great grandfather of Brianna and MacKenzie. Survived by his sister Marion Rush (Bernell) and his brother Grant Morden (Wilma). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents James and Ruby Morden, Baby Morden in infancy, his brothers Everett, Roy and Lloyd and his sisters Lorraine and Joanne. Friends and relatives may call at the Graham A. SHEPHERD, ALAN. (DUCKY).
Suddenly on Monday July 8th, 2002 following a complication during surgery at the Trillum Health Center in Mississauga, Alan Shepherd of R, R, 1, Belwood, formerly of Mississauga, is his 64th year. Beloved husband of Anna Shepherd (nee Roberts). Remembered fondly by his brother Willie Shepherd of Roseneath, Alan was a retired employee of Carboloy Canada Inc. The family will receive their friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 280 ST. DAVID ST. S., Fergus. From 7:00-9:00 P.M. Friday . Complete service will be held in the chapel on Sat July 13, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Vleistra officiating at the service. Rogers, Albert George
Passed away at home with his family by his side on May 23rd 2003 aged 73 years.
Beloved husband of Reona (nee Godin) for 51 years. Loving father of Kathy and her husband David Broeckel of Mar, Reona and her husband Kevin Goetz of Guelph, Joy and her husband John Campbell of Grand Island, NY, Rick and his wife Cindy of Ennotville, Judy and her husband Allan Piercy of Orillia, Tom and his wife Pat of Inverhaugh , Steve and his wife Donna of Lion's Head and Mike and his wife Linda of Fergus. Grandpa will be missed by Reona Goetz, Tara Carey, Jim and Evan Campbell, Sunni, Nathan, Dakota, Sierra, Brooke and Logan Rogers, Justin, Allison, Owen, Sarah and Susan Piercy, Shawn Rogers, Jason and Megan Rogers , Tyler Lindsay and Matthew and Joshua Rogers, and his great grandchildren Samantha and Liam. Dear brother of Ruby and her husband Bruno Toneguzzo of Guelph and Merle and her predeceased husband Herbert Dunnill of Fergus. Predeceased by his parents Reuben, and Alda (Scroggie) Rogers. BURNS: Alberta Eleanor
Passed away on Tuesday December 23, 2003 at the Caressant Care Nursing Home, Fergus, in her 88th year. Lovingly remembered by her nephew John and his wife Ruth and their children Leanne and Paul; her niece Marion Fournier and sons Michael and Jason O'Neill; and sister-in-law Bernice Burns. Predeceased by her mother Gertrude (1937); father Albert (1962); and brother Wilbur (1999). Visitation to be held on Saturday December 27, 2003 from 10 AM at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. Donations in memory of Alberta can be made to the Gideon Bible Society or Bethel Baptist Church Women's Mission Circle. Interment will take place at Mount Carmel Cemetery at a later date.

Kittel, Alexander Herbert (Alex)
Peacefully on Friday June 7th 2002 at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus in his 89th year.
Alex beloved husband of 63 years to Olive (nee Kieswetter) of Alma.
Loving father of Patricia and her husband Terry Coulson of Guelph, Terry and his wife Judy of Bloomingdale, Donna and her husband Ron Patterson of Burlington, Donald and his wife Judy of Alma, and Brian and his wife Jean of Alma. Grandfather of Andrew (Donna), Anthony, Dave (Deb) , Rob (Christine), Sandra, Laura, Matt, and Richard. Predeceased by his 5 sister's and 1 brother. Friends will be received at Graham A. Snowe, H. Allan
Peacefully at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus on Wednesday April 10, 2002, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Wilma (nee Trask) of Fergus.
Loving father of Sandra and her husband Larry Howes of Hanover, Jim and his wife Kaye of Arthur, John and his wife Kathryn of Arthur, and Judy and her husband Jim Coffey of Fergus. Dear grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his brothers Cecil , Raymond, Stanley, Edwin, Harvey, and his sister Mae French. Survived by his sisters-in-law Jean and Muriel Snowe. Friends will be received at Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home 280 St. David Street, S. Fergus, on Friday April 12th , 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. DEANS: Alva Elizabeth RN (nee Rowe)
With deep sadness, Alva's family announces her death, on Wednesday October 9th, 2002, at Groves Memorial community Hospital. Alva died peacefully amongst her family. Treasured mother of Rowe of Inverhaugh and Larry of Fergus. Also survived by four sisters, Helen (Mrs. Douglas Hogarth of Elora), Lucille (Mrs. Grant Sutherland of Fergus), Jean (Mrs. Gordon Campbell of Vancouver), Mary (Mrs. Bert Tuck of West Garafraxa); one brother, Lyle of Fergus and one brother-in-law, Jack Gilchrist of Guelph. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and their families.
Predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Deans; sister Gladys Gilchrist; father Harry Rowe; mother Myrtle Rowe; sister-in-law Willa Rowe; brother/sister-in-law Harold and Jean Deans and sister/brother-in-law, Marion and Milton Roberts; brothers-in-law, Bert Tuck, Douglas Hogarth, Grant Sutherland and Clifton Darroch and nephew, John Hogarth.
Raised in West Garafraxa, attended Living Springs and Fergus High Schools and graduated from K-W Hospital as a Registered Nurse. Nursed at Freeport Hospital (Kitchener) prior to marriage to Ken Deans with residence in Upper Nichol. Returned to the nursing profession at Groves Memorial Community Hospital until her retirement. Active member of the Eastern Star, St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, bridge clubs, quilting groups and many charitable organizations.
Alva's family will receive visitations at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus on Thursday October 10, 2002 from 7-9 PM and on Friday October 11, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday October 12, 2002 at 11:00 AM from the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Fergus, with Rev. David Whitecross officiating. Interment at Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus. In Alva's memory, appreciative donations can be made to Hospice Wellington, the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Canadian Cancer Society or Groves Memorial Community Hospital.
The family would like to express sincere thanks to the staff and volunteers of Groves Memorial Community Hospital and Highland Manor Retirement Home, Hospice Wellington and as well as a special appreciation to her relatives and friends for their special care and compassion.

TATHAM: Anela (nee Suter)
Passed away at Groves Memorial Community Hospital on Friday July 26th, 2002, aged 83 years. Anela was the Sheriff's Secretary at the courthouse in Sackville, N.B. and a secretary at the Mount Allison University. She will be sadly missed by her husband Ron Tatham whom she married in July of 2001. Also missed by her children, Michael Greenberg of Quebec City, Wendy Blanchard of Yarmouth, N.S., Budd Greenberg of Oxford Mills and Robin Raab and her husband Werner of Salem. Grandma will be missed by her seven grandchildren. Remembered by her step-son Paul Tatham and his three children. Predeceased by her daughter Gail Scott of Fergus. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later time. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice and may be made by contacting the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus at 843-3100.

MACHIN: Ann M. (nee Kennedy)
Suddenly at her home in Elora, on Saturday February 22, 2003, in her 61st year. Loved and missed by her husband Mitch of 25 years. Dear Mum of Michael Boothman of Sudbury and Lesley Machin of Elora. Dear sister of Bernard Kennedy and his wife Val of Victoria, Australia, Rita Kavanagh and her husband Andy, Angela McGarry and Maria Brockley and her husband Paul, all of Manchester, England. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Ellen Kennedy. Friends and relatives are invited to a Memorial Service for Ann at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus on Wednesday February 26th, 2003, at 1:00 PM. A reception will be held following the service in the Wellington Room of the funeral home. McManus: Anne (nee Hanniman)
After a lengthy illness, Anne passed away on Monday May 27, 2002, at her home with her beloved husband of 28 years at her side. Anne is survived by her husband Frank, her parents Paul & Jean Hanniman of Brigden, sisters Elizabeth of Brigden, Debbie of Kincardine and brother Wayne of Sarnia. Anne will be sadly missed by many nephews, nieces, family and friends and special friends Allyson and Darran Fischer, Shelley Shaw and her great niece Adrianna. Anne was a long time employee of Zehrs and looked forward to and enjoyed her yearly trip to Mexico where she became friends with a great many people.
Friends and relatives may call at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 37 Church St., Elora, on Tuesday May 28th, from 7-9 PM and on Wednesday May 29th, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated from St. Mary's R.C. Church, Elora on Thursday May 30th, 2002 at 11:00 AM. Father Sherratt officiating. Interment in St. Mary's - St. Joseph's R.C. Cemetery. A reception will follow in the R.C.L., Br. #229, Elora.
