MARSON: Christopher S.
At Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus, with family present on Thursday November 28, 2002, aged 54 years. Chris will be remembered as a dedicated educator with the Wellington County/Upper Grand District School Board for 31 years. He was active as a coach for hockey and soccer and had felt privileged to have coached all of his sons.
Beloved husband and best friend of Betty for 31 years. Devoted father of Peter, David, Steven and Michael, all of Fergus. Dearest son of Dr. F. Graham and Melda Marson of Orillia. Lovingly remembered by his sisters Si‚n and her husband Ed Minich of Oakville, Fiona and her husband Bernie King of Belleville and Melanie and her husband David Blodgett of Newmarket. Also missed by his brother-in-law Doug Turner and his wife Susan of Fergus and his nieces and nephews, Andy, Matt, Lesley, Evan, Kaitlyn and Gordon. Predeceased by his parents-in-law Ruby and Albert Turner.
Friends and relatives may call at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus on Saturday Nov. 30th from 7-9 PM and on Sunday Dec. 1st from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held from St. James Anglican Church, Queen St., Fergus on Monday Dec. 2nd, 2002 at 2:00 PM. Interment in Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Groves Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit or Hospice Wellington as expressions of sympathy.

STEUERNOL: Clara M.
Passed away peacefully at the Wellington Terrace Nursing Home, Elora, on Friday May 2, 2003, aged 92 years. Sadly missed by her children Ruth Dunn of Haileybury, Bernice Davis and her husband Ken of North Bay, Ronald Steuernol and his wife Judy of Elora, Jack Steuernol and his wife Pat of Fergus and her daughter-in-law Joan Steuernol of Fergus. Also missed by her brother Harold Manto and his wife Margaret of Hanover, her sister, Gertrude Elmhurst of London and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Floyd (1961), son Stewart (2001), brother Herman, sisters Eileen, Ruth, Lillian and Marie, son-in-law Clayton Dunn and grandson Murray Dunn.
A memorial service will be held from the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus on Monday May 5, 2003, at 1:00 PM. Rev. Peter Lisinski officiating. A reception will be held in the Wellington Room of the funeral home following. Memorial donations may be made to the C.N.I.B. or the Wellington Terrace Nursing Home as expressions of sympathy.

Wright, George Clark.
Peacefully on Saturday April 26, 2003 at Wellington Terrace, Elora in his 89th year. Clark, beloved husband of the late Irene Wright (nee McQuillan). Loving father of Reg of Oakville and Don and his wife Laura of Brampton. Dear grandfather of Tim. Predeceased by his daughter-in-law Ann, brother Jack and sisters Mary and Alice. Private memorial service will be held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel 37 Church St. Elora. Cremation. If desired donations may be made to the Wellington Terrace.

NORSWORTHY: Claudette
Following a valiant struggle with cancer on Thursday May 9, 2002 at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus. Claudette Norsworthy (nee O'Malley) of Fergus age 66 years. Beloved wife of Howard Norsworthy. Loving mother of John Norsworthy and his wife Patti of Alberta, Dianne and her husband John Godley of Alma, Debby Russell and Dave Smith of Simcoe, Jim Norsworthy and his wife Donna of Alberta, Don Norsworthy and his wife Theresa of CFB Borden, and Peter Norsworthy and his wife Paula of Nova Scotia. Lovingly survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Survived by her sister Vin Trumbly of Cochrane.
A private family service was conducted by the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus. Cremation has taken place. Interment of cremated remains will take place at Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus, at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Groves Memorial Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy.

Cudney, Clifford. Passed away peacefully at Headwaters Health Centre Orangeville on Saturday May 25th 2002 in his 72nd year. Clifford is survived by his siblings Dorothea Rennie of St. Catharines, Myrtle Leary of Listowel, Elgin of Willowdale, Kenneth of Welland, Ralph of Niagara Falls, and Jean of Sudbury. Predeceased by his parents James and Sarah, brother Wilfred and sister's Bertha and Blanche. Sadly missed by many nieces , nephews and friends . Visitation will be held at Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel 280 St. David Street South Fergus, on Tuesday May 28th 2002 from 7 to 9 P.M. Funeral Service will be held at Melville United Church Fergus, on Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. Cremation. If desired donations may be made to The National Neurofibromatosis Foundation.

HENDERSON: Courtney
Following a serious car accident on Monday August 18th, 2003. Courtney Henderson age 19 years of Fergus. Loving daughter of Dawn and Brian Henderson of Fergus. Loved sister of Carlye. Dearest granddaughter of Harold and Mabel Henderson of Arthur and Roxy Davison of Elora. Dearest niece of Kim of Walkerton, Chet and his wife Masina of Alma, Tammy and her husband David of Arthur, Joe and his wife Nicky of Guelph, Chris and her husband Kevin of Fergus, Betty-Anne and her husband David of Arthur and Linda and her husband Peter of Fergus. Courtney will be sadly missed by a number of cousins and other family and many friends. Predeceased by her grandpa Del Davison and her grandfather Norman Decker.
The family will receive their friends at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus on Tuesday August 19th, 2003 from 7-9 PM and on Wednesday August 20th, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held from Melville United Church on Thursday August 21st, 2003 at 2:00 PM. Interment in Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation as expressions of sympathy.

MELANSON: Daniel James
Died suddenly on his land on Wednesday July 3rd, 2002, in his 37th year. Dan was a passionate farmer and a valued employee of Sybase Canada for 6 years. Best friend and husband of Janet Spies for 8 years. Dear daddy of Riley and Emma Melanson. Sadly missed by his parents Patrick and Barbara Melanson and his brother Michael. Also missed by his parents-in-law Lyle (Butch) and Beth Spies. Dan will be fondly remembered by his many relatives and friends. Predeceased by his grandparents Walter and Anne Hill, cousin Jimmy Hill and brother-in-law John Spies.

Jack, David Hepburn Q.C. Passed away peacefully on March 31, 2002 at the Wellington Terrace, Elora in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Elma Jack of Fergus. Loving father of David Jack and his wife Heather of Sault Ste. Marie, Heather and her husband Brad Halls of Cobourg, Kathryn and her husband Keith Fitzpatrick of Fergus, and Doug Jack and his wife Debbie of Fergus. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Joanne, Jeffrey, Jordan, Laura, David, Karen, Kristen, Martha, Emma, and Hannah. Survived by his brother Reverend James D.C. Jack and his wife Mary of Toronto. Friends will be received at Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel 280 St. David Street, South Fergus on Monday April 1st 2002 from 7 -9 P.M. and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church (325 St. George St. Fergus) on Wednesday April 3rd 2002 at 2:00 P.M., with Reverend David Whitecross officiating. Interment, Belsyde Cemetery Fergus. If desired donations may be made to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Wellington Terrace, or Groves Memorial Community Hospital.

Smiley, David Wilson
Passed away peacefully on Monday October 14, 2002 at the Henderson Hospital Hamilton, in his 83rd year. David beloved husband of 55 years to Elizabeth (Betty) of Hamilton. Loving father of Patricia Morris of Hamilton , and Diane Smiley and her husband Tom Hinks of Morriston. Grandfather of Sarah Negus and her husband Chris of Owen Sound. Great grandfather of Kayla, and Nicholas. Friends will be received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel, 37 Church Street, Elora, on Wednesday October 16th , 2002, from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. LARSON: Dennis H.
Suddenly at his home on Sunday July 14th, 2002, aged 56 years. Dennis was a longtime employee of Nexans (Canada Wire) for 36 years. Sadly missed by his wife Maria of 28 years. Daddy will be missed by Mary Larson of Kitchener, Heather McClelland and her husband Randy of Alberta and Jeanne Benninger and her husband Trevor of Kitchener. Loved Grandpa of Coty. Also missed by his brother Robert Larson and his wife Sheila of Lindsay and his sister Gail Sanders and her husband Dave of Newcastle. Survived by his nephew Ryan and his nieces Jennifer and Erica. Suddenly on Saturday July 13, 2002 at the Grand River Hospital K-W Health Center, in Kitchener. Diana McKenna of Kitchener, formerly of Fergus age 27 years. Beloved daughter of Joe and Barb McKenna of Fergus. Dearest sister of Paul of Houston, Texas. Loved granddaughter of Lori Lloyd of Fergus. Dear niece of Bruce and his wife Mary, Gary and his wife Suzy, Rick and his wife Janet, Terry, Neil and his wife Mary, Tim, and Mary Keddie and her husband Ron. Diana was loved by a close network of special friends, and Diana and her family are truly thankful for all the support over the years. The family will receive their friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 280 ST. DAVID ST. S., FERGUS. From 7-9 P.M. Sunday and 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Monday. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at the funeral home on Tuesday July 16, 2002 at 11;00 A.M. with Rev Steve Witcher officiating at the service. Passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Monday April 21, 2003 at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus. Don Flewwelling of Elora in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Gloria (Jotham) Flewwelling. Loving father of Campbell and his wife Diane Flewwelling of Kitchener. Loved grandfather of Amy Marton and her husband Chris, Ashley Flewwelling, Carrie-Anne Dietrich, Amber Dietrich and Joshua Dietrich. Survived by one brother Jack and his wife Wilma of Michigan, and son in law Harry Dietrich and his wife Linda of Kitchener and their children Randi and Candice. Pre-deceased by his daughter Wendy Dietrich (1993), and two brothers Harold and Bob. The family will receive their friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL 37 CHURCH STREET ELORA. From 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Wednesday. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday April 24, 2003 at 2:00 P. M. with Rev Kees Vandermey officiating at the service, Followed by cremation. A Royal Canadian Legion service will be held at the funeral home on Wed evening at 6;45 P.M. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Groves Memorial Community Hospital would be appreciated by the family.

NOBLE; DONALD ALLEN
March 30, 1931 - April 1, 2003. Following an illness at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus. Don Noble of Fergus. Lovingly survived by his wife Joan Noble (Metcalfe) of 49 years. Loving father of Nancy Speers and her husband Jim. Sharon Boys and her husband Ken, Murray and his wife Lisa and Jamie and his wife Vickie. Cherished by his daughter in law Lori Noble-Milne and her husband David. Worlds best Grandpa of, Andy, Steve, Sara, Brandon, Kyle, Jenna, Jessica, Lindsay, Katelyn, Kristen, Heather, Holly, Mason, Susan, Jared, Caitlin and Sandra. Brother of Beryl Reidl and her husband Charlie. Don will be fondly remembered by brother in laws and sister in laws, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Predeceased by his son Paul and brother Robert. His friendship is treasured by all who knew him. A memorial funeral service will be held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 325 St. George Street West. Fergus on Friday April 4, 2003 at 11:00 A.M.
With Rev David Whitecross officiating at the service. Interment of the cremated remain will follow at Belsyde Cemetery. Remembrances to the Groves Memorial Community Hospital, would be appreciated by the family.

PERKIN: Don
Peacefully at the Grand River Hospital, K-W Health Centre after a short illness on Friday January 24th, 2003, in his 63rd year. Loved and missed by his wife Mildred of 39 years. Lovingly remembered by his children Dianne Speed and her husband Ron of Owen Sound, Bruce Perkin of Fergus and Brian Perkin and his wife Jaime of Fergus. Also missed by his sister Marguerite Nesbitt and her husband Bill of Fergus and his brother-in-law Stewart Dally and his wife Ada of Hanover. Predeceased by his parents Elmer and Edna Perkin.
