Henderson , Mary. K,
Peacefully with her family at her side on Wednesday August 21st, 2002 at Geulph General Hospital. Mary (Van Zutphen) Henderson of Guelph age 47 years. Beloved wife of Martin Henderson. Loving mother of Jason Phillips, William Phillips, Martin Henderson Jr. and Nicole Henderson. Dear sister of Henry of Thornhill, William of Ariss, Elly of Lakefield, Nick of Milton and Eneke of Guelph. Dearest Grandmother of Kysha and Noah. Mary will be sadly missed by her father -in-law Eric Henderson of Fergus and sister-in-law's Lillian of Kitchener, and Wendy of Brantford. Mary is survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Predeceased by her parents Henry and Maria Van Zutphen and her mother-in-law Bev Henderson. Friends may visit with the family at St. James Anglican Church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A Memorial Service will be held at St. James Anglican Church (171 Queen St. Fergus) on Saturday August 24th 2002 at 11:00 A.M. cremation has taken place . Funeral arrangements entrusted to Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel 280 St. David Street, South, Fergus. If desired donations may be made to the St. James Anglican Church Building Fund, or charity of choice.

MILNE, MARY (nee McDermott).
Of Wasaga Beach, Ontario passed away on Monday, September 16th, 2002, in her 88th year, at the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital, Collingwood, Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Robert Milne who was killed during the second world war. Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and their families. Dear friend of Joan and Bill Courtney of Wasaga Beach and Dorothy Mainprize of Etobicoke. Sister of the late Joseph McDermott, Madeleine Tone and Helen Rooney, and aunt of the late Madeline Hicks. Mary joined the merchant marines and was a wireless operator during and after W.W.II. A grave side service will be held at the St Marys - St Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery in Elora on Saturday September 21, 2002 at 11;00 A,M, with Fr. Ken Miskiewicz officiating at the service. Arrangement entrusted to the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL. Remembrance to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of ones choice would be appreciated.

ROGERS: Mary Kaylette nee Cunningham
passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, on Tuesday August 20, 2002, in her 86th year. Lovingly remembered by her nephew Frank and his wife Marg Cunningham of Arthur, niece Audrey and her husband Alex McIntosh of Elora, and nephew Bill and his wife Lois Cunningham of Palmerston. Also survived by many other nieces', nephews and friends. Predeceased by her son Alexander "Sandy" MacKay, her 1st husband Duncan MacKay, her 2nd husband Horrace Clarke, her 3rd husband Herbert Rogers, her 5 brothers Tom, Bill, Jack, Arthur and Frank and her sister Dorothy. A memorial service will be held in the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus on Sunday August 25th at 1:30 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice as expressions of sympathy.

PASSMORE: Mavis Charlotte (nee McDonald)
Peacefully passed on to be with Harry, the love of her life, on the 11th day of January, 2003, at the Wellington Terrace Nursing Home in Elora. Mavis, in her 85th year, was the cherished mother of Nancy Harris of Guelph, John and his wife Pat of Guelph, and Ron and his wife Dayna of Guelph. Beloved Grandma of Mavis Harris, Raewyn and Ian Passmore, and Shanna and Jeremy Passmore, Grandma will be missed greatly by all. Mavis is predeceased by her husband Harry (1992), her sister Helen Sootheran and her parents Bessie and Don McDonald.
The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 37 Church St., Elora, on Monday January 13th from 7-9 PM and on Tuesday January 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday January 15th at 2:00 PM. Private Interment in Elora Cemetery. A reception will follow the service in the fellowship hall of the Elora United Church. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Wellington Terrace would be appreciated by the family and can be made by contacting the funeral home at 846-5352.

DOHERTY: Minnie Della
Peacefully on May 11th, 2002, in her 86th year. Minnie Della Doherty, born in 1917 in Ryerson Township (near Burks Falls, Ontario), beloved wife of the late Harvey Doherty (1949). Dear mother of Eileen Atamanchuk, Harvey, Autry, Audrey Pearl, Robert, Verna Brunskill. Dear grandmother of Glen Atamanchuk, Kathy Bailey, Kim Archer, Cindy Macon, Karen Beattie, Jeff Doherty, Mark Pearl, Kevin, Terry and Scott Doherty, Jim Brunskill and Donna Talbot and 13 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 18th, 2002 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 11 Torch Lane, Guelph, ON. At Minnie's request cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Guelph General Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to the Graham A. Slipped peacefully away on Saturday April 5th, 2003 at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus, in her 91st year. Mom is remembered by Ron Short and his wife Marlene of Guelph and Carole Murchland of Smith Falls. Grandma is missed by Brian Hambly (Dianna), Gayle Foster (Joe), Kathryn Kelly, Lee-Anne Short (Bruce), Braden Short, Kerri Murchland (Ryan) and Penni Murchland (Brett). Survived by three great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, her husband Lawrence and her brother Joseph Earngey. Friends and relatives may call at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus on Tuesday April 8th, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday April 9th at 11:00 AM. Rev. S. ROGERS, MYRTLE (nee Mason).
Suddenly on Thursday August 1, 2002, at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus, Myrtle Rogers with her family at her side went to be with the Lord. Myrtle May Rogers (nee Mason) in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Harold Rogers (1981). Loving mother of Ruth and her husband Bob Jackson of Elora, Robert and his wife Ruth Rogers of Cambridge, Carole and her husband Morley Chute of Brantford, Marlene and her husband Norman Cooper of Mount Forest and Doug Rogers of Salem. Myrtle is dearly loved by 9 grand children and 20 great grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Ethel McHarg, Ruth Wells, Jack, and Donald, and also a host of nieces and nephews. Myrtle is predeceased by brothers Robert, Hiram, Colin, Duncan and Lewis and sisters Mary, Phyllis and Kathleen. The family will receive their friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL 37 CHURCH STREET, ELORA. From 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Sunday August 4th, 2002. Funeral service will be conducted at the Central Pentacostal Church 7674 Colborne Street Elora, on Monday August 5th at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Don Rogers officiating at the service. Followed by a family Interment on Tuesday morning at the Elora Cemetery in Elora. Remembrances to the Gideon Bibles or the Cross Roads Christian Communications would be appreciated by the family.

Chalmers: Patricia (Pat) Suddenly following a lengthy battle with diabetes and heart disease at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus on Tuesday December 17, 2002. Pat Chalmers (nee Dixon) in her 68th year.
Beloved wife of Ross of Guelph (formerly of North Bay) Loving mother of Wayne and his wife Patti of Trout Creek, Paul and his wife Mimi of Kitchener and Brenda and her husband Steve Rogers of Palmerston. Dearest grandmother of Shawn, Chance, Jadie, Shane, Ethan, Katie, Timothy , Brox, and Taylor. Dear sister of Bob and his wife Betty Dixon. Sister-in-law of Eleanor Dixon. Pat will also be loved by a number of nieces, nephews, and other family members. Predeceased by her grandson Christopher Chalmers, sister Louise Ruderman and brother Elliott Dixon and Parents Gordon and Mary Dixon. Friends will be received at Graham A. STITT: Patricia (nee Buell)
Peacefully at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus, on Friday April 18th, 2003, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Dear wife of Robert of 59 years. Missed by her sisters, Mrs. Rita Toelson of B.C., Mrs. Mary White of Murray River, P.E.I., her brothers Milton Buell of Charlottetown, P.E.I., and Milburn Buell of Cambridge. GOULDING, PAUL KEITH.
Peacefully on Monday, June 30, 2003 at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus, surrounded by loving family and friends, in his 63rd year. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Shannon) and adored father of Laura, Geoff and Fraser. Dear brother of Bill (Audrey), of Belwood, Richard (Adele), of Oakville, and Carol Roberts (Mel), of Brandon, Manitoba. He will also be missed by Norah and Dennis Buckley of Trenton, Hillis and Ron Jones and his mother in law Eileen Shannon, of Charlottetown, PEI. Son of the late G. Lloyd Goulding and Amy McConnell of Arthur, Ont. He is fondly remembered and greatly missed by his loving nieces and nephews and has been an inspiration to all of us for his zest for life and great strength and determination in the face of the many hurdles he worked to overcome in his fight with Parkinson's Disease over the past number of years. Paul was tireless in his efforts to raise funds for Parkinson's research and truly believed there would be a cure in his lifetime. Paul graduated from Ryerson University and worked for Don Mills Developments and Del Realty prior to embarking on his founding of Cross Canada Fine Food Gifts in 1983. He was forced to retire in 1997 due to ill health. The family will receive friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 37 CHURCH STREET, ELORA. From 7-9 P.M. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Thursday. Funeral service will be held at the Elora United Church in Elora on Friday July 4, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev Bill Sparling officiating at the service. Followed by Interment at the Elora Cemetery in Elora. Remembrances to the Groves Memorial Community Hospital or the Parkinson's Society would be appreciated.

CARR: Phyllis
Died peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus on Monday February 17, 2003, in her 97th year. She is survived by her much loved Rowe Family; daughter Anne, son-in-law Tony and Grandsons Stephen and Richard.
The family will be pleased to see friends at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus on Thursday February 20th from 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday February 21st at 2:00 with Rev. Stephen Witcher officiating. Cremation to follow. On Thursday July 24, 2003, at the age of 87, at The Westmount , Kitchener, Ontario,. Wife of the late Stanley Reed. Dear mother of Grayden and Eleanor Reed of Fergus, Ontario, Susan Reed of Montreal, Quebec, and Melanie Reed of Waterloo, Ontario. Grandmother of Randy and Diane Reed, Russell and Christine Reed, Carol and Richard Sansom, Barbara Reed, and Adam Gravelle. Great-grandmother of Danny, Greg Amanda and Edward Reed, and Charlie and Zachary Sansom. Sister of Harold Heath and Harriet and Ken Healy. Predeceased by her brother Graydon Heath and her sistersMary Thompson and Elsie Reed. Phyllis was born in Hillhurst, Quebec, on October 20, 1915, and spent most of her life in the Eastern Townships. Friends will be received at the Graham Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel 280 St. David Street, South, Fergus, on Friday July 25, 2003 from 7-9 P.M. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 3:00 P.M. Cremation to Follow. Peacefully at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener, on Wednesday May 21, 2003, in his 92nd year. Nonno will be missed by his son Leo of Lucknow and his daughter-in-law Beverly of Alma. Also missed by his brothers and sisters; Bernardo, Giuseppe (Carolina), Zena Caccio, Rosa Saporito, and Angelo (Angela), all of Sicily. Loved by his four grandsons, Peter, Luke, John-Paul and Joseph. Predeceased by his wife Giovanna (1989) and his son Mario (1994). Friends and relatives may call at the Graham A. Suddenly at her home on Sat March 8th 2003 Pirkko Marttala (Tokola) of R. R. 3, Rockwood in her 57th year. Beloved wife of the late Mauno (1984). Loving mother of Heidi and her husband Ron of R. R. 5, Belwood, Ken and his wife Jenny of Okotoks, Alberta and Tia of R. R. 3, Rockwood. Loved grandmother of Victoria, Jasmine, Anika, Andy and Sarah. Dearly loved sister of Leena, Sirkka, Sinikka, Kyllikki, Kaisu, Arja, Pentti, Paavo and Antti and their families all of Finland. Pirkko was born in Raahe, Finland and moved to Canada in 1967 with her husband Mauno, she also operated her own hairdressing business from 1987 till 2003. The family will receive their friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL AND CHAPEL 280 ST. DAVID ST. S. FERGFUS. From 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Friday March 14th.
