Muriel Victoria (Smith) Lomas
Peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital, on Saturday, May 27, 2006. Muriel Victoria (Smith) Lomas at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Wilmer. Devoted mother of Marilyn Kohler (Ross) of Guelph and Valerie Trunn of Windsor. She was the Granny of five and Great-granny of eight. She is predeceased by her sisters Laura and Janet. Arrangements entrusted to the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place in Windsor at a later date. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.

Ronald Thomas Sinnott
Sinnott, Ronald Thomas ''Ron'' passed away peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, October 3, 2003 at the age of 64 years. Loved husband of Virginia of Guelph and caring father of Erin at home. Cherished father of Mark (Nikki) of South Lancaster, Dean (Holly) of Cornwall, Kelly (Tracie) of Cornwall and Kerry (Lucie) of South Lancaster. Remembered by their mother Catherine Lapierre (Gene Picard). Dear brother of Barbara (Gord Sprout) of Belleville, John MacDonald “Mackie” of Cornwall, Orville (Rosemary) of Edmonton and the late Howard (1979). Ron was a member of the Lancaster Legion. Memorial Service at the Munro & Morris Funeral Home, 46 Oak St. Lancaster on Saturday, October 11 at 2:00 pm ( Visitation from 12:30 to 2:00 pm). Cremation with Inurnment Lancaster Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Diabetes Association (Research) would be appreciated. Lilian Jones
Jones, Lilian (1921- 2003) passed away September 30th in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 82. Lovingly remembered by her daughter Carolynne and son-in-law Dan Boivin of Calgary, grand-daughters Julie of Calgary, Jane of Toronto, and sister Isobel Kelly of Elmvale. Predeceased by her husband Denny Jones (2000) and brother Fred Beesley. A memorial service will be held at the Gilchrist Chapel – McIntyre and Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Tuesday, October 14th at 1:30pm. A reception will follow in the Trillium Room of the funeral home. Private Interment. Memorial contributions in Lilian’s name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Andy Morrell
Morrell, Andy Gordon passed away suddenly as the result of an accident on Tuesday, November 18, 2003. Andy Morrell at the age of 25 years. Beloved son of Rick and Sue (Jones) Morrell. Loved brother of Amy Morrell and her fiance Chad Parker of Kitchener. Always remembered by his grandparents, Jack and Babe Morrell and Eleanor Jones, all of Guelph. Sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his grandfather, Ray Jones. Hay, Ross Roy at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus on Monday, August 9, 2004. Ross Hay at the age of 86 years. Cherished husband for 61 years of Archelynn (Coupland) Hay. Loving father of Roslynn Davis (Gerald) of Bramalea and Randy Hay (Luanne) of Hamilton. Special grandfather of Jane & Philip Davis and Lauren & Lindsay Hay. Predeceased by his sisters Mary Connelly & Mildred Hayslip and his brothers Lorne & Bruce Hay. Ross was the treasurer of the Guelph Chapter of the Canadian Bible Society as well as an active 30 year member of Trinity United Church. He was a graduate of the University of Toronto (Ontario Agriculture College) and enjoyed a lengthly career for 23 years with Quaker Oats then 15 years with Maple Leaf Mills. Ross was Chair of Alumni in Action, Past President of College Royal and Past Chair of the Prayer Breakfast Group. Predeceased by her brother G.W. “Bud” Kemp and by her her parents Gordon and Rita (Wallace) Kemp. Doris volunteered her time at the YMCA as well as at Norfolk Street United Church looking after the children.
