Dennis Wannamaker
WANNAMAKER, Dennis (owner and operator of DKNS Welding and Fabricating, Orono) – suddenly as the result of an accident on Saturday, July 30, 2005, in his 30th year. Loving husband and best friend of Shannon (nee Holmes) of Orono. Devoted and proud father of Kyle and Nathan, and special uncle of Crystal. Son of Susan Morrison and son-in-law of Don and Gwen Holmes, all of Newcastle. Brother of Sherry Grills and Paula Wannamaker, and brother-in-law of James Myles, Traci Myles and Kelly Holmes. Predeceased by his father, Dennis Wannamaker, Sr. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Donations to the Wannamaker Children’s Trust Fund or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Funeral Details: Friends may call at the NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 386 Mill St. S. (just north of 401 at the lights) on Wednesday, August 3, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, August 4, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. David Chisling, B.A., B.Ed., M.Div., officiating. Cremation.

Mary Bridget Malone
MALONE, Mary Bridget (nee Martin) – peacefully after a long and happy life, at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, on Wednesday, July 27, 2005, in her 89th year. Loving wife of the late Thomas Hugh Malone. Devoted mother of Stephen and his wife Cecilia of California, Marie and her husband Gino Marano of Bowmanville, Alex and his wife Heather of Maui, and Tom and his wife Barb of Newtonville. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Alexandra, Thomas and Victoria Marano, and Mallorie and Thomas Malone. Dear sister of George, Michael, Ellen, Anne, Ita, Sr. Moyra, M.M.M., Mardie, and the late Angela and Eugene. Donations in Mary’s memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the C.N.I.B. would be greatly appreciated by her family.

WALTER, Mary – at Foster brooke Long Term Care Facility on Monday, July 25, 2005, in her 79th year. Mary is survived by her niece Lois Hoskin of Ajax and nephew David McLaughlin of Oshawa, and will also be missed by her friends Ann Gratton and Laura Berger. She will be greatly missed by all of the caring staff and her fellow residents at Foster brooke.

Dear grandma of Michelle and Lindsay and great-grandmother of Ashley, Justin and Jordan. Amy will be sadly missed by her extended family and friends. Predeceased by her dear husband Harry Mann. Loving mother of Elizabeth (Betty) and her husband Rick Kirkwood of Nestleton, Beverly and her husband Terry Spencer of Spanish, ON, and Barbara and her husband Tom Malone of Newtonville. Cherished grandma of her 5 granchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Rose is survived by her brother Michael Neveau of Goulais Bay and sister Eileen Cooper of Sault Ste. Marie and predeceased by her sister Mary Jane of Goulais River. She will be sadly missed by all of her extended family and friends. Dear daughter of George and Shirley Bowman and the late Ruth and Bill Zuhajewicz. Caring stepmother of Paul and Kathrine Weiss. Loving sister of Jim and Marlene Bowman, Fran and Bob Craig, Barb and Don Takeda, Scott Bowman and Debbie, Vikki Bowman and Tom, Judy Jamischak, Patti Zuhajewicz, and Willie Zuhajewicz.
