BRANDON, Rita Marie (nee Shea) – peacefully at home in her 57th year, after a short battle with cancer, Rita left us with her family by her side. Dearly loved wife of Bob. Loving mother of Annette (Jeff) Hanton, Christine Dunning, Rob and Natalie Brandon. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Aaron, Laurie, David, Nadine and Christopher. Rita will be sadly missed by her mother Rita Shea and her brothers Mike (Carol) and Albert (Debbie) Shea, her in-laws, Linda (Kim) Carr and Jean (Pat) Kehoe, and by all of her nieces and nephews. WARBURTON, Ruby Irene (nee Cowan) – (life-long member of the U.C.W., Faith United Church, Courtice, and then Newcastle United Church; member of the Wednesday Morning Quilting Group of St. George’s Anglican Church, and the Newcastle Village and District Historical Society) – peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, May 17, 2005, in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband William Edward (Eddie) Warburton, parents Alonzo and Melissa Cowan, brother Charles Cowan and his wife Viola, sister Bertha Daniel and her husband Col, and grandson Richard McQuaid. She is survived by her daughter Mary Carolyne Curl (Gord) of Guelph, and sons William (Kenza) of Whitby, Robert (Betty) of Lindsay, and Stephen (Linda) of Frankford. She is also survived by her nephew Neil Daniel of Oshawa, 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
