GADZIOLA, Joseph – peacefully at Foster brooke Long Term Care Facility on Thursday, May 13, 2004, in his 72nd year. Father of Elizabeth Denieuwe and Joanne Gadziola of Aurora and Lori Urbano of Maple. Grandfather of Cameron, Casey, Jamie, Nicole, and Alexa. Missed by staff and fellow residents at Foster brooke.
Funeral Details: A funeral service will be held at the NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 386 Mill St. S. (just north of 401 at the lights) on Monday, May 17, at 1:00 p.m., with visiting for one hour prior to the service. Interment Bond Head Cemetery, Newcastle.

Norbert Joseph Robichaud
ROBICHAUD, Norbert Joseph (Nobby) – at Lakeridge Health Port Perry after a courageous battle with ALS, on Thursday, May 13, 2004, at the age of 59. Born in Bathurst, N.B. and a long-time resident of Oshawa, Norbert was the loving husband and best friend of Yvette Robichaud. Devoted father of Phillip Robichaud of Niagara Falls and Michelle of Oshawa. Sadly missed by many brothers and sisters-in-law, other family members, and very good friends. If so desired, donations in his memory may be made to the ALS Society through NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, (905) 987-3964, with whom arrangements have been entrusted.
Funeral Details: Respecting Norbert’s wishes, cremation will take place with no funeral service.

Loving mother of William (Bill) and Mary Skelding, George and Joan Skelding, and Jack and Nancy Skelding. Dear grandmother of Betty and Frank Stapleton, Linda and Tony Vaicius, George and Cindy Skelding, Joanne and Barry Godin, Jackie and Rob Snow, and Karen Skelding. Great-grandmother to Tricia and Orlando Hyatt, Tara McDonald, Steve Stapleton, Allison Vaicius, Vanessa Vaicius, Alicia Skelding, Amanda Skelding, Rachel Skelding, Jennifer Godin, Justine Godin, Jeremy Snow, Amie Snow, Emma Snow, and great-great-grandmother of Clayton McDonald, Damane Hyatt, Trey Hyatt and Max Stapleton. In Elizabeth’s memory, donations to St. George’s Anglican Church Link Fund or Bowmanville Memorial Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by her family.

Vernon, loving husband for 54 years of Barbara of Wilmot Creek. Dear father of Susan Day and her husband Dennis of Etobicoke, Raymond Green of Port Credit, and Wayne Green and his wife Heather of Georgetown. Sadly missed by grandchildren Christine and Stuart, Wayne Jr. and Cynthia, Alex, Davis and Samy, and great-grandchildren Austin, Makayla, and Jessica. Son-in-law of Harley (Lundy) Lunderville. Loving wife and best friend for 49 years of the late Bryan James Noble of Newcastle. Dear mother of Julia Lynne Noble and her husband Randy Funk of Etobicoke, and loving Grandma to Sarah. Missed by her sister Barbara Massie and husband Denton, their children Andrea and Raymond and their families, sisters and brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. Niece of Gladys Payne. Devoted husband of the late Margaret Jane (nee Denault). Much loved father of Bruce of Port Hope, and Bob and Dawn of Brooklin. Dear father-in-law of Anita. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Steven, Adam, Michael, Allison, and great-grandchildren Alexandra and Riley. Loving brother of Mary Vinkle, Keith Burley, and Florence McEwen. Predeceased by daughter-in-law Judy, grandson Scott, and brothers and sister Jack, Harold, and Audrey. Ron’s gentle sense of humour will be greatly missed by his friends in the morning coffee group. May Simmonds, dear sister of Win Colling (Vance), Gladys Heslip (Dick), all of Peterborough, and the late Doris Junkin (Art), Kathleen Mills (Biff), Alberta Donaldson (Jack), Henry Simmonds, and Edwin Simmonds. Survived by sisters-in-law Eve Simmonds and Sylvia Simmonds. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Survived by his brother Leon Jones of Bathurst, N.B., his sisters Bella Haché of Bathurst, N.B., and Almida Cowan of Island River, N.B., and many nieces and nephews. Dear daughter of the late Harold (1973) and Bessie (1970) Barnewall. Dear sister of Marion and Mark Hosack (Chatham), Ross and Doris Barnewall (Kincardine), Barbara Cunningham and the late David (Essex), Ruth and Carl Verhulst (Toronto), Newton and Jackie Barnewall (Elliot Lake), Dave and Terry Barnewall (Kingsville), and predeceased by sister Betty Denis (1973) and brother Bryce Barnewall (2000). Dear sister-in-law of Helen Barnewall and Ken and Krista Towns. Carroll was greatly loved and will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
