At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton on Thursday, October 17th, 2002 in her 63rd year, the former Joan Hall of Port Elgin and formerly of Stratford. Dear mother of Wendy and her husband Doug Pullen of Owen Sound, Jeff and his wife Diane of London, Brad and his fiancée Lori of Port Dover. Dear grandma of Sarah of London. She is also survived by her mother Jean Hall of Stratford, her sister Diana and her husband Gene Shelestynsky of Inglewood, and by her brothers William and his wife Pat of Stratford, Brian of Sarnia, and Ron of Stratford.
Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin (Town of Saugeen Shores) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday. Funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bob Johnston officiating.
Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin.

Tombros, Nicolas
At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Tuesday, May 6th, 2003 at the age of 62 years, Nick Tombros of Port Elgin. Husband of the former Audrey McCarrel. Father of Peter of Toronto and Jim of Port Elgin. Son-in-law of Edna McCarrel of Port Elgin. Brother-in-law of Al and Kathy McCarrel, Murray and Kim McCarrel, and Marilyn and Ron Underwood, all of Port Elgin. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Thompson, Mary May
At the Grey-Bruce Health Services in Southampton, on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2002, at the age of 84 years, the former Mary Brown, wife of the late Joe Thompson, mother of Doreen and her husband Ken Inglis of London, Diane and her husband Ken Boyd of Guelph, George and his wife Judy, and Jim and Michael, all of Saugeen Shores. Grandma to Christopher and Steven Inglis of London, Robert and Peter Thompson of Paisley, and Jory Thompson of Southampton. Stepgrandmother to Tammy Cobean and Christy Chappell, and sister of Ruby Walker of Southampton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mary is predeceased by two brothers Ed and Neil Brown, and by one sister Eleanor Jackman.

At his residence in Port Elgin, John Thompson. Father of Gail and her husband Tony Lam of Kitchener and Chris and his wife Wanda of Mildmay. Grandpa to Cassi and Kyle Lam. Brother of Bruce, former husband of Linda Wan of Vancouver.

Thomas, Brian
At the London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus, on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2003 at the age of 60 years, Brian Thomas of Underwood. Past owner of Lake Huron Rod and Gun. Loving husband of the former Ruth Schmidt. He will be missed by his children Brad and his wife Carmen, and Lisa Thomas, all of Bruce Township. He is also survived by his mother Edna of the Southampton Care Centre, his brother John and his wife Diane of Ottawa, and his mother-in-law Jean Schmidt of Stratford. Grampa of Daniel, Darren, Dustin, Jason, and Krissy. Uncle of Laurelle and Jordan. He is predeceased by his father Frank and by his brother Jerry.
A memorial service will be conducted at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill St., Port Elgin, on Tuesday, January 28th, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Doug Reble officiating.

Elizabeth "Betty" Thomas
At Elgin Abbey in Chesley, on Tuesday, November 11th, 2003, at the age of 91 years, the former Elizabeth “Betty” Schwass of Port Elgin. Wife of the late Tracey Thomas. Step-grandmother of Cindy, Patty and Donna. Sister-in-law of Doris Nixon of Guelph. She is predeceased by three sisters, Caroline Robinson, Martha McCarrel and Dorothy Sim, and by one stepson Bill Thomas.

Loving Dad of Barbara and her husband Terry Faulkner of Saugeen Shores, (Port Elgin) and Nancy Thede and her husband Gerry Cotter of Newfoundland. Grandfather of Cory and Terrilynn Faulkner, Nicki Thede, Shane Baker and Matthew Cotter. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Grace Thede, nieces, nephews and cousins and wives. Predeceased by sisters Dorothy Crawford, Gladys Pryor and brothers Ted, Jack and Dean.

At London Health Sciences Centre, University Site, on Monday, September 17th, 2001, at the age of 77, the former Hazel Hall of Saugeen Township. Loving wife of Ralph Thede of Saugeen Township. Dear mother of Frances and her husband Paul Maurer, Tom and his wife Sharon, Ron and his wife Mary, all of Saugeen Township, Willa and her husband Keith Faust of Arran Township, Dianne and her husband Mike Primeau of Port Elgin, and Barry and his wife Wendy of Erin. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Lori and her husband Greg McKibbon, Daryl Faust, Mindy Maurer and her friend Fran Guilherme, Marcy Maurer, Chantel, Blayne and Megan Primeau, Lisa, Megan, and Michelle McCarrell, Evan Thede, Amanda, Natasha, Christopher and Rebecca Thede. Tellier, Derek Armand
Passed away suddenly in Vancouver on Tuesday, November 21st, 2000, in his 25th year. Sadly missed by his mother Heather Douglas and her husband Trevor Davies, and his brother Joel Tellier, all of Annan, and by his father George Tellier of Barrie.
A Remembrance of Derek's life will be held at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, on Friday, December 1st, at 1pm. Family and friends are invited to come and share their memories of Derek.

Russell Teeple
In Guelph on Wednesday, January 24th, 2007 at the age of 65 years, Russell Teeple of Paisley. Husband of the late Lois Jamieson. Father of George of Paisley, and Vivian of Port Elgin. Brother of Jim and his wife Gladys of Paisley, and Harold and his wife Joan of Walkerton. He is survived by his sisters-in-law Margaret and her husband Keith Moffatt of Bluevale and Helen Jamieson of Port Elgin, and by six nieces and five nephews. Predeceased by his brother-in-law Gordon Jamieson.

At Park Lane Terrace Nursing Home, Paris on Monday, May 19th, 2003 at the age of 86 years, the former Minnie Parker of Port Elgin. Wife of the late Clifford Swick, Father of Iva and Joe Teslak of Brantford, Bill and Isabelle Swick of Virginia, Joe and Millie Swick of Southampton, Edna Surridge of Port Colborne, and Sherry and Garry Winnitoy of Brantford. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her sister Stella Karcher, and her son-in-law Mervin Surridge.

At the Grey Bruce Health Services in Southampton on Monday, June 12th, 2006, at the age of 94 years, the former Hilda Nelson. Wife of the late Harold Sutherland. Mother of Don and his wife Carole Sutherland, Doug Sutherland, all of Port Elgin, and Sandra and her husband Ray Roberts of Pitt Meadows, B.C. She is survived by four grandchildren, Susan and her husband George Brown of Port Elgin, Cathy and her husband Steve Everitt of Deep River, Sara and her husband Mark Campbell of Pitt Meadows B.C., and Mark Roberts and his partner Charene West of Maple Ridge., B.C. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Matthew Brown, Jamie and Kyle Everitt, and Brady and Parker Campbell, and by one sister Gladys Laycock of Newmarket. Predeceased by two sisters, Tess (Mrs. Heather Robertson), and Marie (Mrs. Frank Anthes), and two brothers Howard Nelson and Stewart Nelson.
