Myrtle Sieffert
On Sunday, September 5th, 2004, at the age of 82 years, the former Myrtle MacIntyre of Port Elgin. Wife of the late Albert Sieffert. Loving mother of Lyverne and his wife Ida of Hamilton, and Donna and her husband Art Doern of Underwood. Mother-in-law of Linda Sieffert of North Bruce. Grandmother of Ken Sieffert, Michael Sieffert, Andrew Doern and his wife Naomi, Dianna and her husband Christopher Lueck, Todd Nason and his wife Tammy and Cindy Nason and her fiancé Blake Thomson. She is also survived by her sister Gladys and her husband John Gateman of Walkerton and sister-in-law Florence Airth of Hamilton. Predeceased by her son Jim, as well as two infant daughters, an infant son, and by her brother Calvin Airth.
Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin (Town of Saugeen Shores), from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday evening, September 7th, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday morning. Funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bob Cotie officiating.
Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin.

Albert Sieffert
At the Grey-Bruce Health Services, Southampton on Friday, July 2nd, 2004, at the age of 88 years, Albert Sieffert of Port Elgin, loving husband of 64 years to the former Myrtle MacIntyre, father of Lyverne and his wife Ida of Hamilton, Donna and her husband Art Doern of Underwood, father-in-law of Linda Sieffert of North Bruce. Grandfather of Ken Sieffert, Michael Sieffert, Andrew Doern and his fiancée Naomi Guy, Dianna and her husband Christopher Lueck, Todd Nason and his wife Tammy, and Cindy Nason and her fiancé Blake Thomson. Also survived by sisters Reta Collins and Jean Webb.
Predeceased by his son Jim, as well as two infant daughters, an infant son, two brothers and one sister.
Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel. 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin (Town of Saugeen Shores) from 7-9 p.m. on Sunday evening, and from 1-2 p.m. on Monday. Funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Monday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Robert Cotie officiating.

Shrider, Mabel Gertrude
At the Southampton Care Centre, Southampton, on Thursday, February 1st, 2001 in her 84th year, the former Mabel Stanley of Port Elgin. Wife of the late Louis Shrider. Dear mother of William (Bill) and his wife Veryl Gibbons of Port Elgin, Louann Harcourt of Guelph, Elizabeth (Betty) Uhrig of Kitchener and Jim and his wife Patti Sue of Port Elgin. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Wendy and her husband Richard Quirk, Kerri and Kristan Shrider, Kimberly Harcourt and Andrew Uhrig, and great-grandchildren Patrick and Cameron Quirk. Survived also by her sister Annie Kidd of Kincardine and longtime friend of the Crytes Family of Edmonton. Predeceased by one sister and three brothers.

Suddenly at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley, on Wednesday, October 1st, 2003 at the age of 61 years, John Sharpe, also known as Sharpie or John Suspenders Sharpe of R.R. #2, Dobbinton. Loving husband and best friend of the former Margaret Austin. Loving father of Debbie and her husband Lyle Wuilleme of Sundridge, Cheryl and her husband Paul Young, and Marleise and her husband Percy Fountain all of Trout Creek. Poppa of Christopher, Jenalyn, Brock, Nathan, Jacob, Matthew, Cassandra, and Cple. Brother of Donna Herrington of Dundas, Kay Ryckman of West Flamboro, Gary and his wife Bonnie, Ed and his wife Marilyn all of Lynden, David and his wife Marlene of Hamilton and Janet and her husband Frank Davis of Jerseyville. Son-in-law of Kenn and Ilean Austin of Tobermory. Brother-in-law of Sharon Austin, Mike Austin, and Jim and Nancy Austin, all of Owen Sound, Perry and Gayle Austin of Williamsford, David and Debbie Austin of Niagara Falls, and Darryl and Sheri Austin of Thorold. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother Viola and by his brother-in-law Alfie Ryckman

Seguin, Michael Stephen
At Hamilton General Hospital on Monday, March 11th, 2002 in his 37th year, after a courageous battle with cancer, Michael Seguin of Cornwall and formerly of Port Elgin. Dearly loved son of Jeannette Seguin of Port Elgin and Claude and Barb Seguin of Deep River. Dear brother of Kevin of Port Elgin and Karen of Etobicoke. Loving uncle of Jennifer and Steven. He is also survived by his grandparents Lucienne and Rheal Seguin of Cornwall and by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A private family funeral service will be conducted in the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill St., Port Elgin with Father Robert Hudson officiating.

Margaret "Peggy" Sedgman
At Chesley Hospital on Wednesday, February 7th, 2007, at the age of 55 years, Peggy Sedgman of Paisley. Wife of Phil Sedgman. Mother of Jeff and his wife Sue of Barrie, Dawn Taylor of Maple Ridge, B.C., and Scott and his wife Emily of Clearwater, B.C. Nana to Zachary and Joshua Sedgman, Joshua Taylor, and Hayden Sedgman. Peggy is survived by her mother Iris Hill, her sisters Monica Totten and her husband Todd Porter, Janet Hill and her husband Roy Peaks, and Linda Hill, and by her brothers Glenn Hill and his wife Cathy, and David Hill, all of the Windsor area. Also surviving are her sister-in-law Lesley Patterson of Calgary, and her mother-in-law Phyllis Sedgman of Walkerton. She is predeceased by her father Calvin Hill.

Father of Paul and JoAnn, both of Port Elgin. Brother of Audrey and her husband Darrell Leybourne of Toronto, Ernie and his wife Carol of London, Mark and his friend Alice of Port Elgin, and Donna and her husband Kirk Stouffer of Kitchener. Cliff is predeceased by his parents Don and Marie Seaman, and by one brother Bruce.

Robert Scott is survived by his wife Jean Mather, his son Bob and his wife Judith of Orangville, daughters Irene and her husband David Malinen, Leslie and her husband Greg Cooper of Sudbury, Susan and her husband Ron MacLean of Guelph and his many grandchildren, also his brother George and his wife Vera Scott of Toronto.

Mother of Wayne and his wife Jean of R.R. #3, Tiverton, and Terry of Tiverton. Mother-in-law of Anne Schwandt of Port Elgin. Sister of Dorothy Grandsden and Gordon Fawcett, both of Tara. Sister-in-law of Doreen Fawcett, Ruth Fawcett, Ev Morrison and Vi Schwandt. She is predeceased by her son Keith, three brothers and one sister.

Survived and missed by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Predeceased by son George, two brothers and two sisters.

On Wednesday, November 5th, 2003 after a brief illness at the age of 70 years, the former Ruth Gordon passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family. Wife of the late Roy Henry Schlueter. Dear sister of Jean Kemp of Stratford. Loving mother of Carol and her husband Bill McComb of Tobermory, Susan and her husband Bill Conn of Owen Sound, Kathryn Schlueter and her friend Doug Lein of Port Elgin and Lorryn Welsh of Tara and her friend Wayne Meyers of Port Elgin. Grandma of eighteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Predeceased by daughter Joan McFarlane, son Gordon Schlueter, sister Doris Griffith and grand-daughter Joanna.
