She is also survived by great-grandchildren Justin and Matthew Kurpjuweit, and Rachel Kingdon. Predeceased by one brother Murray, and by two sisters Florence McLean and Eloise Lunan.

Mr. Saunders was the founder of Humbertown Travel in Toronto, and a Director of the American Association of Travel Agents for many years in the 1960's and 1970's. He served as a special consultant to the Ontario Government for the creation of the Ontario Travel Act, and orchestrated the Travel Compensation Fund within that Act. Bob served as an instructor in the Travel and Tourism Division of Humber College for seventeen years. He moved to Port Elgin in 1994, where he served as Treasurer of Camp Quality. He served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Victorian Order of Nurses, and was very active in the Literacy Group and the Propeller Club.
