Paddon, Kenneth W
At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Sunday, March 10th, 2002 at the age of 53 years, Ken Paddon of Saugeen Shores. Beloved husband of the former Catherine Carr. Dear father of Jason of Kitchener, and Kirk and Jenny, both at home. Brother of Bob and his wife Lenore of Owen Sound, Don and his wife Mary of Port Elgin, and Jim and his wife Sherry of Komoka. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters-in-law and by his nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Reg and Helen Paddon.
Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin (Town of Saugeen Shores), from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Funeral service will be conducted in Port Elgin United Church, 840 Bruce St., Port Elgin on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Gordon Williams officiating.
Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin.

Eva Owen
At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southhampton, Ontario on Monday, December 10th, 2007 at the age of 97 years, the former Eva Randles of Port Elgin, Ontario and formerly of Saint John, New Brunswick. Wife of the late Edward Owen. Loving mother of Beatrice and her husband Harvey Arbo of Saint John, and Shirley and her husband Doug Earle of Port Elgin, Ontario. She is also survived by six grandsons and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters and one brother.
Friends may call at Brenan’s Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, St. John, New Brunswick,(634-7425), with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, at 10:00 a.m., from Brenans Bay View Chapel.
Interment at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.

Osbaldeston, Ronald
At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Friday, January 18th, 2002 in his 64th year, Ronald Osbaldeston of Paisley. Beloved husband of the former Louise Olson. Dear father of Rhonda McNicoll and Gloria Osbaldeston, both of Hamilton, and Patricia and Devon Osbaldeston, both of Paisley. Stepfather of Donald Lembke of Kitchener. Grandfather of Daniel and Steven McNicoll.

Father of Harold and his wife Leona, and Jerry and his wife Gaetane, all of Port Elgin. Papa to Tanya, Andrea and her husband Shawn Swan, Jeffery and Trevor, Erin and Kristy. Great-Grandpa to Ethan Swan. Brother of Marian of Poland. He is predeceased by one brother.

At the Southampton Care Centre on Saturday, October 13th, 2007 at the age of 84 years, Orland Nuttall of Port Elgin. Husband of the late Margaret McGillivray and the late Jeannine Charpentier. Father of Larry of Waterloo and Gary and his wife Ellen of Etobicoke. Grandfather of Fraser, Spencer and Heather. Brother of Margaret Leighton, Mima and her husband Mac McGillivray, Les and his wife Muriel, Wallace, Sherwood “Bud” and his wife Leona, Shirley and her husband Carm Sweiger, Marlene and her husband Harvey Davidson, Don and his wife Eleanor, and Alexina and her husband Mike Atkinson. Stepfather of Norman Desmarais, Raymond Desmarais, Leo Desmarais, and Rita Godin. He is predeceased by his sister Lenore King.

The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #340, Port Elgin will hold a memorial service in the funeral home on Monday evening at 6:45 p.m..

At Grand River Health Centre, Kitchener, on Monday, March 26th, 2001, in her 75th year, the former Margaret McGillivary of Port Elgin. Charles Nihls
In the loving arms of his family, Charles Nihls of Port Elgin, passed away at the Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, on Wednesday, June 4th, 2003 in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Ella. Dear father of Michael and his wife Martha of Coquitlam, B.C., Kim and his wife Deborah, Marjorie and her husband Dan O’Driscoll, Jeff and his wife Elizabeth, and Julie and her husband Carl, all of Kitchener. Precious Poppa of twelve grandchildren, Amy, Rebecca, Carmen, Suzanne, Travis, Taylor, Michelle, Casey, Troy, Sabrina, Erik, and Danielle. He is also survived by four sisters, Ruth, Betty, Susie, and Sandra.
An open house reception will be held at the Nihls residence, 737 Mill St., Port Elgin, on Sunday, June 8th, 2003 from 2 to 4 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 355 Gage St., Kitchener, on Wednesday, June 11th, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. A reception to follow.

Muriel Norwood
On Friday, September 3rd, 2004, at the age of 80 years, the former Muriel Rowe of Port Elgin, wife of the late Sam Norwood, mother of Jim and his wife Nancy of Southampton, Grandma to Sarah of Toronto and Joel at home, Sister of Isabel Kalbfleisch of Moorefield, Doug Rowe and his wife Enid of New Hamburg, and Ken Rowe and his wife Carol of Hanover. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Martha Taylor of Cornwall.
Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin (Town of Saugeen Shores), from 7-9 p.m. on Monday evening, September 6th., and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m., with Pastor Peter Stopford officiating.

Wallace Nelson
With great sadness our family shares news of the death of our father Carson Wallace Nelson. Dad passed away on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2003 in his 101st year. Wally was predeceased by his beloved wife Ida Thompson (2000), his eldest son Allan (1998), his parents Allan Nelson and Sara Jane Leggett, stepmother Emma McRae, and his sister Lela. Wally leaves sons, Gordon of Goderich, David and his wife Margaret of Oakville, and Peter and his wife Tracey of Embro, and his daughter Brenda of Guelph; grandchildren, Sara, William, Andrea, and David Nelson, and Josh and Michael Schenkel.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted by the W. Kent Milroy Paisley Chapel on Saturday, June 7th, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in Tiverton Cemetery with the Rev. Wendy Lampman officiating.

Nelson, Olive
At the Southampton Care Centre on Thursday, December 5th, 2002 at the age of 83 years, the former Olive (Ollie) Scott of Port Elgin. Wife of the late John Nelson. Loving mother of Audrey and her husband Bob Filsinger of Neustadt, Shirley and her husband Peter Tomlinson, Barb and her husband Howard Wrightson, all of Port Elgin and Bob and his wife Edieth Nelson of Elderslie Township. She will be missed by her eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Ruby (McArthur) Sumpton and by many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by three sisters and one brother.

Grandma to Kim and her husband Scott, Amanda, Devin and his wife Mandy, Dan and Drew, Great-grandma to Cody, Brendan and Keaton. She is also survived by her sister Marion Ruthven and by her sister-in-law Rosalie Neilly. After a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, John passed away in Port Elgin, on Friday, March 28th, 2003. Beloved husband of Beryl. Devoted father of Nigel and Claire. Dear grandfather of Christopher, Jenna, Sarah, and Isaac. John is survived by his sisters Phyllis and Sylvia, his brother Sam, and many nieces and nephews. John was an inspiration to us all and will be sadly missed.

Mother of Robert and his wife Marta Smith of Picton, Jack and his wife Doris of Pickering, and Jean and her husband Joe Brinkos of Picton. Grandmother of Kevin Muir and his wife Michelle, Greg Muir and his fiancée Jill Thomas, Kathleen and her husband David Sommerville, and Robert Abbott and his wife Jeanine. Great-grandmother of Hailey and Owen Muir, and Jamie and Matthew Sommerville. She is predeceased by her brothers Joe and Maurice Shanks.
