Willard Metcalf
At the Walkerton Hospital on Friday, May 23rd, 2003 at the age of 82 years, Willard Metcalf of R.R. #2, Cargill. Husband of the former Phyllis McConnell. Father of Eric and his wife Delores of Cargill, and Cheryl and her husband Michael Swirklis of Kincardine. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Marcella and Maxwell Swirklis, and Tyler, Corey, and Logan Metcalf.
Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Paisley Chapel, 216 Queen St.S., Paisley from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Funeral service will be conducted in the Pinkerton United Church on Monday at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Murray Rounding officiating.
Interment Purdy Cemetery.

Elizabeth Meszaros
At the Maple View Nursing Home in Owen Sound, on Tuesday, October 19th, 2004, in her 90th year, Elizabeth Meszaros of Owen Sound and formerly of Guelph. Wife of the late Louis Meszaros. Mother of Elizabeth Gal of Hungary, Louis and his wife Pat of Guelph, and Ted and his wife Klara of Port Elgin. She is also survived by six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Private family funeral arrangements in the care of the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel.Memorial contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Morris McVittie
At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Monday, January 23rd, 2006 at the age of 88 years, Morris McVittie of Southampton. Loving friend of Nellie McArthur. Dear Dad of Duncan and his wife Neva of R.R. #1, Southampton, Liz and her husband Gord Walmsley of Southampton, John and his friend Linda of #1, Southampton, Jim of Wasaga Beach, and Mary and her husband Richard Muir of Stratford. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Margaret in early childhood and by his sisters Muriel and Jean.
Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin on Wednesday, January 25th from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Creola Simpson officiating.
Interment Southampton Cemetery.
Reception with the family will follow theInterment in the reception suite of the funeral home.

Mae McVey
At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Sunday, January 9th, 2005, at the age of 92 years, the former Mae Hawke. Wife of the late John McVey. Mother of Linda and her husband Doug Buchanan of Meaford, Donna and her husband Ray Witt of Cambridge, and Calvin and his wife Mary Lou of Courtright. Survived also by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one brother and four sisters.

Mona McTeer
At Lee Manor, Owen Sound, on Sunday, March 21st, 2004 at the age of 77 years, Mona McTeer of Paisley. Wife of the late Robert McTeer. Mother of Donna and her husband Jack Johnston, Betty and her husband Mike Crone, all of Owen Sound, Roberta and her husband Jim Patterson, Dennis and his wife Brenda, Dale and his wife Janine, Ian and his wife Pam, all of Paisley, Ken and his wife Nina, Elaine and her husband Colin Campbell, all of Walkerton, and Watson and his wife Heather of Alliston. She is also survived by her grandchildren and her many great-grandchildren and by her son-in-law Dave Carr of Peterborough. She is predeceased by her daughters Merie Carr, and Marjorie Tanner and by her sister Evelyn Cunningham and by two grandchildren.

Harold McTeer
In Grey Gables Nursing Home, Markdale, on Wednesday, December 17th, 2003 in his 87th year, Harold McTeer of Dundalk and formerly of Paisley. Beloved husband of Marjorie (McCullough) McTeer and the late Irene Mooney (1979). Dear father of Gladys (John) Turnbull of Waterloo, Shirley (Bob) Currie of Paisley, Glen (Rhonda) McTeer of Lucan, Keith (Rhonda) McTeer of Newmarket, and Linda McTeer of Kitchener. Will be sadly missed by ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by two sons Wayne McTeer (1994) and Lorne McTeer (1990).
A graveside service will be conducted in Purdy Cemetery on Saturday, May 1st, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. George Thomas officiating. A reception will follow at Bradley School.

McNeil, Alberta May
At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton on Monday, August 12th, 2002, at the age of 80, Birdie McNeil of Port Elgin. Wife of the late Lloyd “Doc” McNeil. She will be missed by her daughters Lee and her husband Scott Gerow of Wiarton, and Sue and her husband Lorne Lazenby of Port Elgin. Beloved Nan of Adam and his wife Jen, Matthew and his wife Sylvia, Angie and her husband Dan, Tyler, Sean and his wife Mic, Amanda and her husband Dallas, Elizabeth and Sarah. Great-grandmother of six. She is survived by her brother Jack Fenton of Blenheim, and predeceased by three brothers and one sister.

Suddenly in Lindsay, Ontario, on Monday, February 26th, 2001 in his 39th year, Johnny Macnab of Lindsay and formerly of Port Elgin. Dear son of Beryl Macnab of Port Elgin. Loving brother of Betty and her husband Bob Gilmour of Southampton, Margie and her husband Al Siddall of Owen Sound, David and Laura of Allenford, Carol and her husband Howard Matz, and Dale and her husband Dave Finnie, all of Port Elgin. He will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father Richard (Dick) Macnab.

McLeod, Mary Myrtle
At Southampton Care Centre, on Wednesday January 9th, 2002, in her 94th year, the former Myrtle Kennedy of Port Elgin. Wife of the late Eldon McLeod. Dear mother of Eric and his wife Margaret of Port Elgin and Larry and his wife Betty of Tara. Gramma of Scott and his wife Ronda of Tara, Trevor and his wife Virginia of Owen Sound and Tammy of Croyden, England. Great-grandmother of Crystal, Celina, Camelia and Kelsey. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Elmer, Lyle, Art and Cliff.

McLeod, Jock Stewart
At the Southampton Care Centre on Monday, August 13, 2001, in his 89th year, Jock McLeod of Southampton, and formerly of Toronto. Husband of the late Janet Emmerson. Father of Lachlan and his wife Michelle of Oakville, Jentie and her husband Barry McKenzie of Brampton, and Kit and her husband Ted Pomery of Surrey, B.C., He is also survived by nine grandchildren, his sister Catherine Maclean of Kirkland Lake, and his son-in-law John Wylie of Southampton. He is predeceased by his daughter Garrie Wylie, his sisters Jean Gerrie and Marion McLeod, and by his brother Munro McLeod.
A memorial service will be conducted in St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Southampton, on Saturday, August 18th, 2001, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Ken Wild officiating.
Interment Southampton Cemetery.

On Oakville in Sunday, January 30th, 2005, at the age of 79 years, the former Joy Thompson of Oakville, and formerly of Waterdown, Paisley, and Port Elgin. Wife of the late John “Jack” McLaren. Dear mother of Peter Sauchuk and his wife Peg of Grimsby, Tom Sauchuk and his wife Lorna of Fergus, Kenny Sauchuk and his wife Arlene of Oakville, Barb Easton and Scott Norton of Mansfield, and Laurie Kononiuk and Paul Irving of Innisfil. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Tanya, Wayne, Cory, Jason, Brandon, Lindsay, Craig, Rick, Kim, Jeremy, and Everton and by her great-grandchidlren, Jenna and Travis. Sister of Melba Mannen of Paris, Tim Thompson of St. Catharines, and Doug Thompson of Burlington. She is predeceased by five brothers.

Mother of Marg and her husband Bryan Jones of Paisley, and Edna and her husband Jim McTeer of Bruce Township. Grandmother of Christopher and Jeremy Jones, and Scott and Sheri McTeer. Sister of Frances Ladd and Evelyn Kelleher, both of Southampton. She is predeceased by her brother Cecil.

Interment is to take place at Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
Following the funeral service a reception with the family will be held at Tolmie Memorial Presbyterian Church.

McKinnon, Robert Kenneth
Suddenly in Northern Ontario on Thursday, July 4th, 2002 at the age of 47 years, Bob McKinnon of Saugeen Shores. Dear friend and loving partner of Marilyn Hills. Bob will be dearly missed by his sons, Chris of Toronto and Greg at home, and by their mother Suzanne McKinnon. Son of Freda and the late Ken McKinnon, brother of Jim and his wife Lynne of Saugeen Shores, Joanne and her husband Dwight Smith of Oshawa, Susan and her husband Ben Miller and Paul and his wife Suesanne, all of Saugeen Shores. Bob will be missed by his aunts and uncle, Doretta Potts, and Kay and Bill Lindsay, and by his many nieces and nephews. Also missed by Marilyn’s children, Don and Venetta Hills and their daughter Jenna, and Tanya and Chad Quanz.
