Isabel McDonald
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends at the Sunnycrest Home, Whitby, on Tuesday, February 10th, 2004, in her 98th year, the former Isabel Arbuckle. Beloved wife of the late Neil McDonald. Loving mother of Alex of Victoria, Malcolm of Whitby, and Marjory and her husband Wolfgang Stahlmann, of Miami, Florida. Grandmother of Norman McDonald and his wife Pam of Linden, Ontario, Catherine Stahlmann of Miami, and Jennifer and her husband Peter Thorne of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Great-grandmother of Zachary, William and Jake. Loving and dear friend of Claire Brown of Whitby.
Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel., 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, (Town of Saugeen Shores) from 7-9 p.m. Thursday evening, February 12th. Funeral service will be conducted in Tolmie Memorial Presbyterian Church, 699 Goderich St., Port Elgin, on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Julia Morden officiating.
Interment Southampton Cemetery.

Sandra Margaret McDonald
In Victoria B.C., Sandra Margaret McDonald, wife of Alex McDonald of Victoria B.C., mother of Norman and his wife Pam of Lynden, Ontario, and Grandmother of Zachary. Sister of Dave Scholey of Victoria and Bill Scholey of Bangkok, Thailand. Sister-in-law to Malcolm “Mac” McDonald of Whitby, and Marj and her husband Wolf Stahlman, of Florida.
The family gathered at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, on Friday, October 11th,at 2 p.m, then proceeded to Southampton Cemetery, where the Rev. Julia Morden officiated at a graveside service.

Mabel McCulloch
At Elgin Abbey, Chesley on Monday, October 22nd, 2007 at the age of 92 years, the former Mabel Hall of Chesley and formerly of Port Elgin. Dear wife of Ian McCulloch of Port Elgin. Mother of Jim and his wife Karen of Paisley, and Marilyn Glasser of Kitchener, and stepmother of Joyce Reinhart of Port Elgin. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Sister of Mary Grahlman, Ruby Holdaway, Edna Hewitson, and Carl, Lloyd, and Wilbur Hall. She is predeceased by her husband Cecil McCullough, daughter Sheila Walsh, three brothers, one stepson, and two sons-in-law.
Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, (Town of Saugeen Shores) from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 25th , 2007.. Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Ken MacDonald and the Rev. Wendell Grahlman officiating.
Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara.

Edna McCulloch
At the Southampton Care Centre on Monday, November 29th, 2004, at the age of 93 years, the former Edna MacKenzie. Wife of the late Archie McCulloch. Mother of Alex and his wife Cathy of Southampton. Grandma of Andy and his wife Stephanie of Chesley and Mary and her husband Steve Shouldice of Hepworth. Great-grandma of Morgan and Payton McCulloch and Benjamin Shouldice. Sister of John MacKenzie and his wife Janet of Bruce Township. She is predeceased by her sisters Margaret and Grace.

Jack McCormick
At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Thursday, June 26th, 2003 at the age of 87 years, Jack McCormick of Port Elgin. Husband of the former Helen Brown. Father of Robert and his wife Mihaela of Oshawa, and Kathleen McCormick and her husband Daniel Rockhold of Phoenix, Arizona. Grandfather of Nancy Truax of London, Patricia Scrimshaw, Jennifer McCormick of Toronto, and Nadine McCormick of Oshawa. Great-grandfather of Adam and Amanda Truax of London. He is predeceased by his brothers, Sam and George.

McCannel, Neil
Passed away peacefully at the Southampton Care Centre on Thursday, November 23rd, 2000, Neil McCannel age 85 years, formerly of Burgoyne. Beloved husband of the late Vera McDonald (September 17th, 2000). Loving father of Anne McCannel of Burnaby, B.C., Mary and her husband John Phillips of Kincardine and Betty and her husband Laird Vanni of Barrie. Loved grandfather of Jason, Traci, Alicia, Nicole and Dustin. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Isobel and The Very Rev. Ken McMillan of Toronto, Jean McCannel of Burgoyne and Janet Gowanlock of R.R. #2, Port Elgin. Predeceased by his brothers Archie and Alex and by his sisters Marion Palmer and Kathleen Wade. He will be remembered by his many nieces and nephew.

At the Southampton Care Centre on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007, at the age of 98 years, Lorna McArthur, R.N., of Southampton and formerly of Waterloo. Sister of Harold and his wife Margaret of Southampton, and David and his friend Evelyn Sieffert of Stratford and Port Elgin, and by many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, John and Mary McArthur, by her brothers Colin, Newton, and Murray, and by her sisters May McConkey, Winnifred Latsch, Margaret Adis and Jean Sutherland.

Peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2002 at the age of 86 years, Jack McArthur of Port Elgin, and life-long resident of Paisley. Husband of the former Mary Yuill. Father of Shirley and her husband Jack Fraser of Port Elgin, and Doug and his wife Margaret of Newmarket. Grandpa to Michael and Erica of Toronto, Steven and Melanie of Kitchener, David and Helen of Port Elgin, Dianne and Ron of Port Elgin, Jennifer and Jeff of Ancaster, Andrew and Wanda of Kamloops, B.C., and Allison of Newmarket. Great-grandpa of Christopher, Matthew, Elgin, Emma, Callan, Cole, and Nickolaus. He is predeceased by four sisters and four brothers.

Dear father of James Hopper and his wife Nancy of Wallaceburg, and Donald and his wife Debbie of Paisley. Grandpa of Sarah and her husband Ryan Vanderputten of Calgary, Graham Hopper of Toronto and Bree-Ann McAngus, and Kevin McAngus both of Paisley. Proud great-grandpa of Michael Vanderputten. Brother of Wilda and her husband Alex Lamont of Saugeen Township. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Mary McArthur of Port Elgin. He is predeceased by his parents William and Kathleen McAngus, and by his brothers Glen and Jack.

She is also survived by her sister Mary McArthur of Paisley, her sisters-in-law, Myrtle Yuill, and Wilda Lamont and her husband Alex, and by many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her first husband John “Jack” Hopper, and by her brothers Jim and John Yuill.

At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Monday, November 10th, 2003 at the age of 57 years, Mervyn McAllister of Port Elgin. Loving husband of the former Darlene Loewen. Loving father of Karla McAllister and her husband Harvey Shular Jr. of Etobicoke, Michelle McAllister and her boyfriend Bernie Klein of Whitby, and Jayson of Port Elgin. He is also survived by his mother Jean McAllister, brother Keith, uncle Alex McAllister and his wife Kay, and his aunt Mildred McAllister, all of Collingwood. He is predeceased by his father Frances.

Helen Maurer
In Hanover on Tuesday morning December 12th, 2006, at the age of 81 years, the former Helen Kalte. Wife of the late Stanley “Junior” Maurer. Mother of Paul and his wife Frances of Port Elgin, Susan and her partner John of Brockton, Peter and his wife Sheila of Grand Bend, and Cindy of Mildmay. Grandma to Mindy and Marcy, Jamie and Becky, Jennifer and Janice, and Sarah and Luke. Great-grandma of nine great-grandchildren. Sister of Marie Stadtlander of Hanover, and Bill Kalte of Owen Sound. She is predeceased by one sister Noreen Stadtlander. Helen will be sorely missed by her beloved cat Ida.

In Southampton on Sunday April 22, 2001, in his 81st year, Ron Masterson of Southampton, husband of the former Perlina Peach, father of Jack and his wife Shirley of Guelph, and Bob and his wife Marlene of Southampton. Grandpa to Penny Blair, and Richard, Robert and Kim Masterson. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren. Brother of Dorothy and her husband Bill Weber, Geraldine and her husband Reg McArthur, and Gladys and her husband Basil Eby. Predeceased by brothers Bill, Harold and Jack, and sisters Jean and Bernice.

In Hamilton on Saturday, May 5th, 2001, after a short life of a day, Hendricks Mason-Wesley. Dear son of Kimberley Wesley and Gary Mason. Grandson of Donna Wesley-McGrath of Saugeen First Nation and Marie Mason of Saugeen First Nation. He is predeceased by his grandfathers Harvey Wesley and George Cameron.
