Olive Irving
At Seaforth Manor on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2006 at the age of 76 years, Olive Irving of Seaforth and formerly of Paisley. Sister-in-law Ray Anstett. Aunt of Kim and her husband Gary Love, Doug Anstett and his wife Nancy, Joe Anstett, Cindy Visscher, Judy Brand, and Ray Anstett and his wife Terri. She is also survived by ten great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by her parents Bert and Winnie Irving, brother Doug Irving and by her sister Leona Anstett.
Private family funeral services will be conducted by the W. Kent Milroy Paisley Chapel.
Interment Starkvale Cemetery.

Inglis, Gladys May
Went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 20th, 2001, with her family around her, the former Gladys Kingston of Paisley. Beloved wife to the late Wilford Inglis. Loving mother of Jean Anne and her husband William Madsen of Mayerthorpe, Alberta, Evelyn and her husband Rev. Robin Ross of Mission, British Columbia, Mary and her husband Stan Norris of Conestogo, and Grace Inglis of Kitchener. Special grandmother of Carelle McKellan, John and David Ross, Frederick, Nancy and Nelles Madsen, and Krista-Lyn, Matthew and Kyle Norris. Dear brother of William John Kingston of Dobbinton and brother-in-law of John Pickering of England. She is predeceased by her parents and by her sisters Myrtle McKay and Phyllis Pickering.
Friends may call at the Knox United Church, Paisley on Monday, from 2 to 3pm. Funeral service will be conducted in Knox United Church on Monday at 3:00 p.m

Stanley Hyett
At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Tuesday, February 14th, 2006 at the age of 85 years, Stanley Hyett of Southampton. Loving husband for 60 years of the former Alma Wilkinson. Dear father of Kenneth and his wife Christina of Lachine, Quebec, and John and Barbara of Burlington. Grandfather of Craig of Saskatoon, Stephanie of Louisiana, Karen and her husband Darrin of Maui, and Steven of Calgary. Stepgrandfather of Victoria Lennox of Burlington. Brother of Len Hyett, Lillian Leech, and Anne MacDonald, all of England. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted in St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 47 Albert St.N., Southampton on Wednesday, March 1st, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Creola Simpson officiating.

Cody Hubert
At his home in Brampton, on Wednesday, November 14th, 2007 at the age of 28 years, Cody Hubert of Brampton and formerly of Port Elgin. Loving husband of the former Melissa Pennarun. Dear son of Lynda Hubert and her partner Rick Adams of Port Elgin, and Doug Hubert of Southampton. Brother of Kelly and her husband Mike Mahoney of Port Elgin. He will be missed by his grandmothers, Ethel Doucette of Drayton, and Edna Hubert of Cambridge. Son-in-law of Mark and Debbie Pennarun of Port Elgin. Brother-in-law of Lisa and her husband Steven Floyd of London and Laurie and her husband Jamie Moore of Burlington. Uncle of Ryan Mahoney and Jordon Mahoney. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles. He is predeceased by his grandfathers, Howard Doucette and Lawrence Hubert.

Baby Demi Howes
It is with great sadness that Mommy and Daddy, Brittney and Jason Howes of Underwood announce the passing of their baby daughter Demi, on Monday, November 28th, 2005. Demi will be sadly missed by her big sister Keeley, her grandparents Steve & Linda Hart, Tim & Patricia McGee, Mardy MacArthur, Lee & Tara MacDougall & Dave & Barb Howes. She is also survived by her great-grandma Helen Banville & many aunts, uncles & cousins.

At the Grey-Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, on Tuesday, November 26, 2002 at the age of 44 years, Ron Howe of Owen Sound, son of Marguerite Howe of Southampton, and the late Roy Howe, brother of Brian and his wife Katherine of Cape Breton, Lynn of British Columbia, Michael of Port Elgin, Kathryn of Elliot Lake, his twin brother Ray of Owen Sound, and Mary and her husband Rick McClement, of Port Elgin. Surviving also are his nieces Molly and Lucy McGovern of Owen Sound, and Julie and Sarah McClement.

Howe, Margaret
At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Thursday, October 17th, 2002, in her 83rdyear, the former Margaret McGill of Port Elgin and formerly of Paisley. Wife of the late Stuart Howe. Dear mother of Gloria and her husband Harvey Bell of Paisley, Pam and her husband Jim Elliott of Toronto, Barry and his wife Beth of Paisley, and Allyn and his wife Laura of Pickering. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, her daughter-in-law Joanne Howe of Port Elgin, her sister Edith Harrison of Listowel, and her brother Murray McGill of Goderich. She is predeceased by her son Jack and by seven brothers.

Florence Howe
Peacefully at the Southampton Care Center on Saturday, June 3rd, 2006, in her 87th year the former Florence McLean of Port Elgin. Wife of the late Elwood Howe. Mother of Ken and his wife Doreen, and Murray and his wife Irene, all of Bruce Township. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sister Margaret Hopper of Port Elgin, sister-in-law Agnes Howe of Southampton, and by her son-in-law Jerry Hellyer of Lions Head. She is predeceased by her daughter Elaine Hellyer, granddaughter Crystal Howe, and by her sisters Kay McLean and Muriel Clark.

Howe, Christina
At Trillium Court, Kincardine on Monday, June 10th, 2002, in her 96th year, the former Christina Houston of Paisley. Beloved wife of the late Nelson Howe. Dear mother of Marguerite and her husband Alvin Hemstock of Weston, Dorothy and her husband Jim Needham of Lucknow, Mary and her husband Bill Armbrust of Jordon, and Doug and his wife Louise of Ottawa. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, her sister, Mamie Docherty of Toronto, and three sisters-in-law, Margaret Houston, Winnifred Howe and Dorothy Ransome.

Ruth Hooper
Ruth Hooper passed away peacefully at the Southampton Care Centre on Thursday, February 23rd, 1006 at the age of 84 years. Born Helen Regina (Ruth) Chrzaszcz on August 1st, 1921 in Kitchener, she leaves her son William of Waterloo, and a daughter Jennifer and her husband Mike McMichael of Port Elgin. She also leaves her three grandchildren Karen, Greg and Maggie, many nieces and nephews, and her sister Helen Bezeau of Kelowna B.C. Ruth is predeceased by her husband William Robert Sr. in 1980, by her parents Vincenty and Maria (Lalik), two brothers Stephen and Walter, and four sisters Anna, Stella, Mary and Martha.
Private family funeral arrangements are in the care of the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel. A memorial gathering will be conducted in Kitchener at a later date.
Memorial contributions to the Bird Studies Canada (project feeder watch), or the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation MRI Fund may be made through the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel.

Audrey Holman
At her residence in Saugeen Shores on Wed. July 21st, 2004, at the age of 82 years, Audrey Holman. Wife of the late Roy Holman. Mother of Jackie and her husband Stuart Campbell of Saugeen Shores. Grandmother of Fiona Isabel Campbell and Michael McCarthy of Bristol, England, and James Stuart Campbell of Ottawa.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 920 Wellington St., Port Elgin on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Father Mike Francis as celebrant.
A reception with the family will follow the mass at St. Joseph’s Jubilee Hall.
Memorial contributions to the Arthritis Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Roberta Hodge
At University Hospital in London, on Monday, June 21st, 2004, at the age of 65 years, Roberta Hodge of Saugeen Shores, and formerly of Bruce Twp., wife of the late William Hodge, mother of Jennifer and her husband Bob Barna of Arran, and Valerie and her husband Peter Takacs of Ottawa, and Grandma to Derrick and Shelby Barna and Zoe Takacs.Loving companion of Bill Kealey of Saugeen Shores.

Hodge, Albert James "Bert"
At the Grey-Bruce Health Services, Southampton on Saturday evening, March 30, 2002, at the age of 67 years, Bert Hodge, husband of Mary Hodge, and the late Shirley Hodge, father of Patricia and her husband Ted Brill of Southampton, Joseph Hodge and his wife Barb of Edmonton, Ronald Hodge of Windsor, Catherine Hodge of Niagara Falls, and Jennifer Hodge of Port Elgin. Stepfather of Shelley and her husband Doug Charlton of Strathroy, Kim and her husband Kevin Shears, and Jeff Price , all of Owen Sound. Bert is survived by thirteen grandchildren, and by six brothers and five sisters. He is predeceased by two sisters and one brother.
