At Saugeen Villa, Hanover on Friday, November 15th, 2002 in his 96th year, Bill Colwell of Hanover and formerly of Glammis. Beloved husband of the former Ellen Reid. Dear father of David and his wife Delores of Hanover, and Beatrice and her husband Raymond Mitchell of Paisley. Dear grandpa of Robert, Megan, Randy and Jackie Colwell all of Hanover and Helen Mitchell of Paisley. Loving great-grandpa of Kelly, Kayla, and Autumn. Brother of Florence Pegelo of Walkerton. Brother-in-law of Carl Wagner of Ilderton. He is predeceased by his first wife Noreen Baird, three sisters, and one brother in infancy.
Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Paisley Chapel, 216 Queen St.S., Paisley on Sunday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Monday at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. John Baker officiating.
Interment Kincardine Cemetery.

Reta Collins
Peacefully at Elgin Lodge on Sunday, January 23rd, 2005, at the age of 93 years, the former Reta Sieffert of Port Elgin. Wife of the late Earl Collins. Dear mother of Albert & his wife Rose of Port Elgin, Shirley and her husband Lawrence Nicholson of Owen Sound and Mary and her husband Larry Letang of Port Elgin. She is also survived by her sister Jean Webb, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son Harold, one sister and three brothers.
A private family funeral service will be held at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin with the Rev. Gordon Williams officiating.
Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery.

Cole, M. Pearl
At Brucelea Haven, Walkerton on Thursday, July 4th, 2002, at the age of 88 years, Margaret Pearl Cole, the former Pearl MacIntyre formerly of Underwood.Mother of Bill and his wife Debbie of Southampton.Grandma to Joanne of Auckland, New Zealand, and Bill of Cologne, Germany.She is survived by her nieces and nephews.Predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and John (Archie) MacIntyre, and by one sister Thelma Carter.

At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Monday, November 27th, 2000 in her 78th year. Lillian Cocks of Port Elgin. Wife of the late Gerry Cocks. Mother of John of Toronto and Richard of Mayo, Yukon. Nana of Stephen, Coryne, Ryan, Debbie, Darlene and Keri Cocks and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers and one sister in England. Predeceased by one brother and one sister.

Flay "Corky" Cochrane
At the Southampton Care Centre , on Saturday, January 13th, 2007 at the age of 81
years. Husband for 57 years of the former Mona Ware. Dear father of Cherylann Cochrane of Calgary, Susan and her husband Stewart Sweetzir of London, Philip and his wife Suzie of Cargill, and Nancy and her husband Wendell Martin of Port Elgin. Grandpa to Christina, Faith, Sarah, Cassandra, Emily, Lisa, Lauren, Dalen and Nathan. He is also survived by his sister Nora Brunet and his brother Larry Cochrane, both of Niagara Falls. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Jeanette Cochrane, and by his sister Martha Smith.
Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill St., Port Elgin (Town of Saugeen Shores) from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16th, 2007. Funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m., with
Mr. Rod McLean officiating.
Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
A reception with the family will be take place at the Royal Canadian Legion in Port Elgin following funeral services.
The Royal Canadian Legion Br. #340, Port Elgin will hold a memorial service in the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 6:45 p.m.

Austin James Cluley
At Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Wednesday, September 8th, 2004, at the age of 88 years, Austin Cluley of Port Elgin. (Town of Saugeen Shores) Dear husband of 64 years to the former Marguerite Boettger. Loving father of Carole and her husband Don Sutherland, Ernie and his wife Sharon, Sheila and her husband Lindsay Busch and Joann and her husband Stephen Paul all of Saugeen Shores. Grandpa of ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brother Eric and his wife Alma Cluley of Durham and by his extended family Fred Zimmerman and his wife Guschi of Markham. He will also be missed by his brother- in-law Bill Boettger and sisters-in-law, Irene Eby and Winnie and her husband Austin McTeer and by many nieces and nephews and good friends. He is predeceased by his parents James and Maude Cluley and by sister Reba and her husband Howard Collins.
Friends may call at the Port Elgin United Church, on Saturday, September 11th, from 9.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. Funeral service will be conducted in the church at 10.00 a.m. with Pastor Bob Johnston and Rev. Gordon Williams officiating.
Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin.
Austin’s family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall of the church from 11.30 to 3.00 p.m. to celebrate his life. Please join them following the interment.

Clazie, John James
Suddenly at home on Tuesday, April 9, 2002, at the age of 41 years, John Clazie of Saugeen Township. Husband of the former Julie MacLeod. Father of Robbie and Dan, both at home. Son of Jim and Edna Clazie of Saugeen Township, and grandson of Jean Clazie of Port Elgin and the late Grant Clazie. Brother of Cathy Thomas and her friend Wally Brown of Port Elgin, Jean and her husband Dennis Berner of Saugeen Township, Marj Malcolm and her friend Fred Cook of Grand Bend, and David and his wife Peggy of Paisley. Son-in-law of Doris MacLeod. He is survived by 25 nieces and nephews, and will be fondly remembered by his family and many friends.

Funeral service will be conducted in Port Elgin United Church, 840 Bruce Street, Port Elgin, on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Julia Morden and the Rev. Gordon Williams officiating.
Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin.

Jean Clazie
At the Southampton Care Centre on Sunday, October 16th, 2005 in her 96th year, the former Jean Leask, formerly of Port Elgin and Saugeen Township. Wife of the late Grant Clazie. Mother of Jim and his wife Edna of Saugeen Township. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her daughter Isobelle Underwood, son-in-law Jack Underwood, grandson John Clazie, parents William and Lily Leask, brothers Ivan and Gordon Leask, and by her sister Marjorie Slade

Hans "Clancy" Claeren
At his residence on Monday, May 19th, 2003 at the age of 52 years, Hans “Clancy” Claeren of Port Elgin. Son of Tineke Claeren of London and the late Adrian Claeren. Brother of Robert “Scruff” and his wife Edye of Port Elgin, George and his wife Patricia of Calgary, Patrick, Ingrid, and Saskia and her husband Jim McHugh, all of London. Uncle to Casey, Adrian, Benjamin, Lucas, Travis, Michael C., Josie, Tracy, Michael W., and Kristie. He is predeceased by his sister Michelle.
Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, (Town of Saugeen Shores) from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday. Funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church, Southampton on Friday at 1:00 p.m. with Father Mike Francis as celebrant.

Paul Christmann
Passed away at Oshawa on Friday January 13, 2006 in his 54th year. Paul, beloved husband of Laurie. Dear son of Donna and the late Cecil “Poag” Christmann. Brother of Mark and Brent. Fondly remembered by his nephews Lee and Christopher Boeckner, Shawn and Brandon Danard and by his many relatives and friends. Following cremation, the family will receive friends at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL (www.durhamobituaries.com), 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby (905-668-3410) from 12 to 1pm on Thursday January 19, 2006. A Memorial Service will follow at 1pm in the Chapel. Paul and his father Cecil “Poag” will be interred together in the spring at Sanctuary Cemetery in Port Elgin, ON, through W. Kent Milroy Funeral Home, Port Elgin, Ont.. In memoriam, donations may be made to the Cancer Society or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Cecil "Poag" Christmann
At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2006 at the age of 85 years, Poag Christmann of Port Elgin. Husband of the former Donna Armstrong. Father of Paul Phillip and his wife Laurie of Oshawa, Mark Jay of Toronto and Jon Brent of Port Elgin. Brother of Lillian Heard, and Bruce and his wife Anna, all of Port Elgin. He is predeceased by his sisters Velva Weber and Wilma O’Leary.

At Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton on Monday, April 10th, 2006, at the age of 91 years, the former Pearl Beattie of Port Elgin. Wife of the late Roy Chappell. Loving mother of Evelyn and her husband Harvey Weppler of Port Elgin. Dear grandmother of Karen and her husband Jamie Ferrier of Owen Sound and Kathy and her husband Robert Hilborn of New Dundee. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Nicholas & Cody Ferrier and Nancy Hilborn. Pearl will also be missed by the Chappell Family. She is predeceased by brother Frank Beattie and sister Hazel Farrow.

Father of Tammy and her husband Steve Cobean of Port Elgin, and Christy and her husband Mike MacKay of Port Elgin. “Papa” to Kelly Cobean. Brother of Dale and his wife Carol of Port Elgin. He is predeceased by his parents Cecil and Mary Chappell.
