Cameron, Henry George
Peacefully with family and friends at the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Sunday, April 8th, 2001 in his 49th year, George Cameron of Saugeen First Nation. Beloved husband of Marie Mason. Dear father of Ciandra and her husband Mike Wynn of Saugeen First Nation, Honey and Sterling Ritchie of Saugeen First Nation, Sonia of Orillia, Tricia and Ryan Root, Rael and Trisha Mason, Rachel and Jason Lewis, Gary and Kim Mason, and Grant Kewageshig, all of Saugeen First Nation. He is also survived by his brothers Andrew Cameron and his wife Glenna, and William Jr., all of Saugeen First Nation and Larry Subject of Orillia, his sisters Julie Robichaud of Midland, and Joan Cameron and Eleanor Cameron, both of Saugeen First Nation, by eleven grandchildren, and by several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother Mary Cameron.
Friends may call at Wesley United Church, Saugeen First Nation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. Funeral service will be conducted in Sacred Heart Church, Scotch Settlement, on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Father Frank McGee officiating.
Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
Vigil service will be held at Wesley United Church, Saugeen First Nation on Wednesday evening at 8:30 p.m.

Dale Cameron
At Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Monday, October 11th, 2004, at the age of 55 years, Dale Cameron of Port Elgin. Loving mother of Kelly, Ryan & Emily McCartney and sister Joanne Munroe all of Port Elgin. Special gramma of Ryersen Isabel. She will also be missed by her best friend Marly Freer of Collingwood.Predeceased by her parents Steve & Dora Cameron.

Caldwell, Bill
At the London Health Sciences Centre, London, on Wednesday, January 10th, 2001 in his 82nd year, Bill Caldwell of Paisley. Beloved husband of the former Betty Friar. Dear father of Lynn and his wife Marguerite, Garry and his wife Ila, all of Paisley, Lloyd and his wife Diana of Chatsworth, and Grace and her husband Jim Birrell of Pinkerton. Brother of Ruby Hammond, and Verna Martin, both of Paisley and Lawrence and his wife Ruth of Cambridge. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by two sons in infancy.
Friends may call at the Immanuel Evangelical Missionary Church, Paisley on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted in the church on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Eric Wedseltoft and Pastor Mark Chester officiating.

Edna Byers
At the Southampton Care Centre on Tuesday, March 9th, 2004 at the age of 88 years, the former Edna Maurer. Wife of the late Owen Byers.Mother of Gordon and his friend Vickie of Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan, Mildred and her husband Henry Hemstock, and Barbara and her husband Gary Currie, all of Port Elgin. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, two half-brothers, and one half-sister. She is predeceased by all her brothers and sisters.

Dear Mom of Robin and her husband Dennis Hachez. Gramma of Kathleen, Erin and David all of Port Elgin. She is also survived by brothers Ed Norton and his wife Mae of Dundas and Don Norton and his wife Betty of Brantford and nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Alf and Eveline Norton, brother Howard and sister Mill.

John "Jack" Butchart
At Elgin Abbey Nursing Home, Chesley, on Tuesday, June 10th, 2003 in his 92nd year, Jack Butchart of Chesley and formerly of Brant Township. Husband of the former Ellece Alexander. Father of John of Durham, and Donna and her husband Walter Bruder of Brant Township. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and by his sister Dorothy Irwin of Port Elgin. Predeceased by his sister Stella MacLean.

Bushnell, Carol
Suddenly at Grey-Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, on Saturday, February 4th, 2001. She is survived by her loving husband Peter Bushnell of Port Elgin and her children Stephen Redgwell and his wife Tammy of New Lowell, Helen (Redgwell) and her husband Mark Hall of Kitchener, Adrian Bushnell and his wife Tracy, and Julian Bushnell, all of England.
Carol was a loving grandmother to Carol, Terry and Brian Redgwell of New Lowell, Andrea, Suzanne and Ted Hall of Kitchener, and Lee and Anthony Bushnell of England. She is survived by her brothers Harry, Glyn, and Michael, and a sister Barbara, all of England.
Friends are invited to attend a Service of Remembrance for Carol at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill St., Port Elgin, on Thursday, February 8th, at 11am, with the Rev. Margaret Greenhow officiating.

Jessie "Netta" Buchanan
At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Sunday, October 28th, 2007 at the age of 86 years, the former Netta Williamson of Port Elgin. Wife of the late Frank Buchanan. Dear mother of John of Deep River. Grandmother of Ian of Courtice. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Isabel Farrell of Windsor, and by several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother-in-law Frank Farrell and by her sister-in-law Bette Buchanan.

She is survived by her stepchildren Leonard Brown and his wife Marilyn of Kitchener, and Doreen and her husband Tom Marcella of Florida, and their children. Sister-in-law of Marguerite Brannick of Port Elgin. Aunt of Janice Storms of Lindsay, Irene and her husband Murray Howe of Bruce Township and Ann Brannick of Port Elgin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews of the Brown family. She is predeceased by her brothers, William, Theodore “Pete”, Lloyd and Walter Brannick, and by her sister Doreen in infancy.

He is predeceased by his brothers George and Fraser Brown.

Brannick, T.A. "Pete"
Life Member, Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 340, Port Elgin - Served 6 ½years with the Royal Canadian Artillery in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany.
At the Southampton Care Centre on Saturday, December 15th, 2001, at the age of 84 years, Theodore Albert “Pete” Brannick of Port Elgin, husband of the former Marguerite Vennard, father of Janice Storms of Lindsay, Irene and her husband Murray Howe of Bruce Twp., and Anne of Port Elgin. Grandfather of Mark and Sarah Howe, brother of Lorraine (Mrs. Donald Brown) of Owen Sound. Predeceased by one sister Doreen, by brothers Bill, Lloyd and Walter Brannick, by his foster-brother “Red” Mercer, and by his son-in-law Bill Storms. He is also predeceased by his parents Edmond and Bertha Brannick.
