Peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Friday, February 1, 2002 in his 83rd year, formerly of Etobicoke. Victor, beloved husband of the late Margaret. Dear loving father to John Richard of Burlington and Stephen and his wife Viola of Kitchener. Much loved grandfather to Stephanie, Sabrina and Sean. Dear brother to Hazel Brunt (Gord) and Barbara Pollard (Bob) all of Scarborough. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Wednesday, February 6, 2002 from noon until 1 p.m. followed by a Service of Remembrance at 1 p.m. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Arthritis Society would be appreciated.

Dorothy Reinhard
Suddenly on Monday, February 4, 2002 at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital. Dorothy, beloved wife of the late William. Loving mother of Karen, Cheryl and husband Bob Millar, Lorie and husband Earl Haggart, Larry and wife Janice and predeceased by her son Scott. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Glenn, Allan, Debra, Bill, Cindy, Frank, Matthew, Charles, Dorothy and her 9 great grandchildren. Dorothy is survived by her sister-in-law Blossom Pollock. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. Glenna Irene (Giggey) Smith
Peacefully on Thursday, February 7, 2002 at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Toronto. Beloved wife of the late Bill Smith, predeceased by her first husband Cecil Robert Giggey. Loving mother of Cecil and his wife Heather and William David and his wife Brenda. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren April, Sheri-Anne, Robert, Jonathan, Joanna, Gordon, Robynn and Johnnie and her great grandchildren Bronte, Sebastian, Maximus and Zachary. Joseph "Lon" Carlton
At Mississauga Trillium Hospital, on Sunday, February 10, 2002 in his 75th year. A great man whose heart sadly gave out after many heart attacks. Loved always by wife Valentina. Father of sons Sandy of Toronto and Stephen and his wife Sharon of Calgary. Proud Grandfather to Shawna, Corina, Kevin, Kristen and Joshua. Will be missed by friends and family. Dear Ata of Margaret Greig, Dorothy Wade (Jim), Martha Ennamorato (Nick), Katy and John Jr. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Courtney, Robbie, Tommy, Jenna, Nicole, Nadia and Jessica. Loving uncle (Stric) of Milan and Nada Trpin and their children Ursula Haczkiewicz (Marek), Greg and Miki and their grandchildren Monika and Annick. Andrew Matthew Kapus
Suddenly at home on Monday, February 18, 2002 in his 13th year. Andrew will be sadly missed by his mom Margit Helen and his dad Leslie and his wife Madgi. Andrew loving brother of Lisa, Ilonka, Leslie Jr., Justin, Emily and Joshua. He will be sadly missed by his Uncle Alfie, Aunt Susie and cousin Mikey Weisz. Dr. Walter Mitura
Peacefully at his home on Thursday, February 21, 2002 in his 77th year. Walter will be lovingly remembered by his wife Christina and his daughter Eva (Dr. Roy) Raghunan. Passed away suddenly on February 24, 2002. Predeceased by her husband John. Lovingly remembered by her children Eric and Sydney. Luigi Mezzavilla
Peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, February 28, 2002 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in his 81st year. Luigi, dear brother of the late Reno, Aldo and Armand. Sadly missed by his sister-in-law Noreen Mezzavilla, his best "buddy", sister-in-law Jean Mezzavilla, his nieces, nephews, great nieces and their families and great great nieces. Peacefully on March 1, 2002 at Versa Care Centre in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Wilbert. Loving mother of Melba Scot Hall and late son Cleal. Grandmother of Trina Mitchell and Kim (John) Porter. "Mamas" will be sadly missed by great granddaughters Jennifer and Jessica Porter. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 6 at 2 p.m. at Glendale Memorial Gardens, 18 Albion Rd., and a memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 124 Fifth St. on Saturday, March 9 at 2 p.m.

Gordon Chartrand
Passed away peacefully on March 2, 2002 at Sheridan Villa in Mississauga at age 79 years. Survived by his wife Emelda, and children Robert, Vanessa (Paul) and Charlene. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. A complete service will follow at 4 p.m. in the chapel. John Kenneth "Ken" Norris
(38 year employee of Chrysler in Alderwood) Suddenly at home on Sunday, March 10, 2002 in his 62nd year, Ken, dear loving husband to Marlene. Loving father to John and his wife Lisa of Brampton and Jackie of Rexdale. Dear grandfather to Jared and Jenna. Dear son to Mary Ann (May). Also sadly missed by his sisters Edna, Jean, Lorraine (John), Shirley (Don), Margie and his sister in law Elenor. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Sandra Miller
Peacefully at her residence on Monday, March 11, 2002 surrounded by her family at the age of 54. Sandra was a long time employee of Canadian Coleman. Loving mother of Wayne and her long time companions Fluffy & Bingo. She was the first born of 16 siblings. Devoted sister of Donna (Rick), Creighton, Daryl (Jane), Debbie (George), Chuck, Sherill (Jim), Beverly (John), Rochelle (Mike), Denise (John), Gloria (Brian), Ian (Julie), Kim, Todd (Karen), Keri-Lee (Steve), Giselle (Tony). Sister-in-law of Joan and Darlene. Daughter of George Deon and the late Madeline Deon. Daughter-in-law of Mary and the late Harold Miller. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Passed away suddenly at the Trillium Health Centre on March 15, 2002 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of Tymko. Survived by her brother, sister and family in the Ukraine. Esther Rolston (Nee MacLaren)
Passed away after a lengthy illness on March 17, 2002 at the McCall Centre in her 67th year. Predeceased by her husband Melvin. Loving mother to David and his wife Sandy and Terry and his wife Doris. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Melissa, Taylor and Duncan. Survived by her mother Annie, sister Noreen and predeceased by her sister Sandy and father Duncan. John Maxwell (Max) Conway
After a brief illness at Mississauga on March 22, 2002 at age 79. Loving and devoted husband of Eleanor. Cherished father of Kim and her husband Doug, John and Cheryl. Dearest brother of Doris (Conway) Buchannan. Proud grandfather of Nicole. Fun loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. He was a retired Professional Engineer. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2002 at 3 pm at Bloordale United Church, 4258 Bloor St. W., Etobicoke.
