Olga Göbbels
Peacefully on Monday, December 16, 2002. Beloved wife of Willy. Loving mother of Karla (Irving) Hexham & Gudrun (Eberhard) Hahn. Loving Omi of Andreas, Kevin (Kristi), & Amanda Hahn. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W., 416-259-3705) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm & 7 to 9 pm. A Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 1:30 pm. Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery.

Frances “Fran” Hughes
Born in Alderwood on October 8, 1926. Fran retired from Campbells Soup after 41 years and was a Charter Member of the Trafalgar Golf & Country Club. After a lengthy illness Fran passed away on December 17, 2002. Survived by her sister Therese & predeceased by her brother Jack (Sonny) & sister Marian (Chick). Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews & friends everywhere. Her special companion “Cheekie” has found a new home with Wendy Sawyer. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Friday from 1 to 2 pm for a Celebration of Fran’s Life. Interment to follow at Springcreek Cemetery.

John Popp
Peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital on Tuesday, December 24, 2002 in his 101st year, beloved husband of the late Katarina. Predeceased by his son Edward. Sadly missed by his godchildren Rita Mayer, her husband Peter and their daughter Amanda of Mississauga and Patricia Ploetner and family of Houston, Texas. Also sadly missed by his relatives and friends in Czechoslovakia. John loved his house, gardening, going for walks and remained self sufficient well into his late 90s. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service in the chapel Monday 10 a.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. Ioan (Lew) Bendle
Suddenly on December 25, 2002, in his 75th year. Loved and cherished husband of Loretta. Beloved father of Rick and his wife Doreen of Burlington and Janice MacSwain and her husband Brad of Sarnia. Loving grandfather of Andrew, Caitlin and Bryan. Dear brother of Merle O'Grady of Ottawa. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. Peacefully at home on Sunday, December 29, 2002. Louis, beloved husband of Frances. Loving father of Mary Ann, Veronica and her husband John and Peter and his wife Anne. Louis will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Christopher, Daniel, Laura, Mark, Paul and Sophie. Louis is survived by his brother Ivan in Toronto and his sister Antonia in Slovenija. Donato Lepore
Sadly on Monday, December 30, 2002 in his 42nd year, passed away peacefully in his sleep. Donato is predeceased by his mother and father Filomena and Pasquale Lepore. Loving brother of Paul and his wife Julia, Nick and his wife Maria, Anthony, Josie and her husband Glen Rounding and his twin sister Carmela and her husband Pat Larocca. Donato will be sadly missed by his many nephews and nieces Pat Nick, Pat Paul and his wife Mary-Lou, Frank and his wife Brenda, Jennifer and her husband Al, Andrea, Lisa, Allison, Matthew, Victoria and Nadia. Great Nieces and nephews Maria, Olivia, Gabriel and Alexandra. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Friday January 3, 2003 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral mass on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 61 Jutland Road, Etobicoke. Entombment Glendale Memorial Gardens.

Salvatore “Sam” Denino
Peacefully on Tuesday, December 31, 2002 at Highbourne Lodge. Sam beloved husband of the late Marian. Loving father of Carol Denino and her husband Paul Sckrapnick. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Marc and Samuel Sckrapnick. Loving uncle of Frank Mattucci, Mary Anne Sapinet, George, Tony Mattucci, Phyllis Whynot and Gino DeNino.
