Evelyn Ford (nee Lavine)
After a short illness, Evelyn passed away peacefully at the Trillium Health Centre-Mississauga on July 23, 2003 at the age of 83. Beloved wife to Clarence Ford and loving mother to Clarence Ford Jr. and the late Barbara Ann. Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fitz Oliver Lavine. She will be sadly missed by her dear cousins Mazie Marshall, Lorraine, Yvonne, John Marshall and Edwin Cox and many other relatives and friends. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday at the Church of the Atonement (256 Sheldon Ave., Etobicoke) from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Interment Springcreek Cemetery.

Robert “Bob” Lezon
Peacefully on Friday, July 25, 2003 at the Ian Anderson House, Oakville. Bob, loving husband of Jean Phinney and father of Michelle and her husband Jamie Burrows of Victoria, B.C. and Matthew and his wife Cathy Jack. Papa Bob will be sadly missed by Shannon, Chloe, and Dreyden. Bob is survived by his mom Rose Lezon, brothers Clifford and Ron & his wife Marita and his sisters Elaine and Marlene and predeceased by his dad Andrew. He will be remembered by his nephew Christopher and niece Alexandra and his many family members in Saskatchewan, B.C. and Ontario. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Sunday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. A private family service will be held followed by Interment in Springcreek Cemetery. Donations to the Ian Anderson House or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Stanley MacMullin
Suddenly at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on Wednesday, July 30, 2003. Loving husband of Gladys. Father of Stanley, Cathy and Linda. Grandfather of Robert, Sean, Meghan and Mackenzie. He will be sadly missed by many family and friends. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Friday from 2 to 4& 7 to 9 pm. A Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 3 pm. Cremation.

George (Tom) Hugh Bee
Peacefully on Thursday, July 31, 2003 at the McCall Centre at the age of 84. Loving husband to Margaret. Caring father to Jim (Christa). Beloved grandfather of Cisco and Casey. He will be greatly missed. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm. followed by a service in the chapel at 4 pm. Cremation.

John Charles Gibson
passed away on August 7, 2003 peacefully at the age of 65. He is survived by his brothers Stewart and Lyle. He will be sadly missed by his many friends at the “Skyline Club”. A Memorial Service will be held at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Tuesday, August 12, 2003 at 2 pm in the chapel.

Peter Hawryshkewich
On Friday, August 8, 2003 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre. Peter, beloved husband of Nina. Loving father of Wolodymyr and his wife Nadia and Roman and his wife Ann-Marie. Peter will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Andrew and Natalie and his many family and friends in the Ukraine. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Panakhyda in the funeral home at 7 p.m. The Orthodox Rite of Funeral will take place in the chapel on Monday at 1 p.m. Interment St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery, Oakville. Donations to the Parkinson Society of Canada would be appreciated.

Eileen Edith Costron
Longtime resident of Long Branch and Mimico, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on August 12th, 2003 at The Village of Erin Meadows in her 81st year. Lovingly remembered by her daughter Terry (Theresa) and son-in-law Doug Clark. Dear grandmother of Meghann, Rebecca, Elizabeth and Tara. She is also survived by her son Richard and his wife Karen and grandchildren Derek and Laura. Predeceased by her husband George and brothers Jack, Robert (Bob) and Llewellyn (Bud) Scriver and sisters Rona Crabb, Jean Croft and sister-in-law Audrey Scriver. She will be fondly remembered by her cherished friend Hilda Olexy, many dear nieces and nephews, relatives in Regina, Saskatchewan and friends at Sunrise Assisted Living in Mississauga. A special thank you to all the staff at Erin Meadows for their compassionate care and support during her last few days. Resting at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Friday from 4 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 7 p.m. Cremation. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Sleeping Children Around the World would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Peacefully on Monday, August 11, 2003 at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga site, Anna, beloved wife of Zygmunt. Loving mother to Wieslaw and his wife Wanda in Poland and grandmother to Iwona Jablonski and her husband Robert of Burlington. Dear great- grandmother to Philip. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayers Thursday evening at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass Friday 10 a.m. from St. Teresa's Catholic Church (Tenth St.). Richard T. Rauth
Suddenly at the age of 70 while on vacation in Las Vegas, Nevada. Richard passed away on Monday, August 11, 2003. Beloved husband of Helga for 41 years. Devoted father to Raymund and his wife Shirley, Stefanie and her husband Lloyd and Patricia and her husband Howard. Loving Opa to Raymond, Christa, Erik and Lucas. Survived by his mother-in-law Frida. Dear son of the late Josef and the late Stefanie and dear brother to the late Siegfried. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters especially Walter, Adolf and Hedwig. He leaves many beloved nieces and nephews behind. He will be sadly missed by his friend and brother-in-law Gunther and his wife Lilo and his many friends, special friends from the Musket and dear friends Herman, Trudy and Jeanette. He will be dearly missed by Anna and will be reunited with his best friend, the late Al Paquette. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. Pat Carr
Peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, August 15, 2003 at the age of 78. she will be forever loved by her close companion Leslie Geobey. Loving mother of Hazel (Gary), Marion (Corky), Don (Barbara), Ken (Nadine), and Trish (Don). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Service of Remembrance will be held Wednesday at 11am in the chapel of Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705). Nikanor (Nick) Babij
passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Sunday, August 17, 2003 at Sts. Peter and Paul Residences at the age of 80. He will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him. Alicia Marie Mykietiak
On Tuesday, August 19, 2003 at Trillium Heath Centre – Mississauga Site, Alicia Mykietiak dearly beloved wife of the late William and loving mother of Debbie, Cindy, Dan and his wife Louisa. Dear grandmother of Amanda, Melissa and stepgrandmother of Maria, Rocco, and Tony. Dear sister of Ken and Jackie Gerard, Dorothy Firth and the late Laurena Dunn. Remembered by her best friend and cousin Vera Topper. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. Anne (nee Merrick) Kotyck
Peacefully on August 20, 2003 at the age of 89. Beloved wife for 59 years of the late John Kotyck. Dear mother of Joan and her husband Stan Konarzycki, and Gary and his wife Joanne. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Kim Konarzycki and his wife Amalfe, Jill Peckham and her husband Tom, Susan Wright, Christopher Kotyck, Amanda Kotyck and Jonathon Kotyck. Also sadly missed by great grandchildren Tommy, Nicole, Michael and Danielle Peckham, and Mark, Maya, Amy and Nicholas Konarzycki. Peacefully on Thursday, August 21, 2003 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre at the age of 91. Loving husband of Catherine for 47 years. He will be lovingly remembered by family and friends in Canada, Ukraine and Greece. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. At her residence on Friday August 22, 2003 Margaret Normore dearly beloved wife of Woodrow and loving mother of Jackie Normore and her husband Kevin Thornhill of Dundalk. Dear daughter of Lillian Power of Newfoundland and remembered by brothers, sisters, brother and sister in laws and nieces and nephews. On August 27, 2003 with his family by his side at the Trillium Health Centre-Mississauga at the age of 65. Faithful husband to Maxine. Devoted father to Daniel and Raymond. Loving grandfather to Christine. Caring brother to Michele, Jeanette, Georgette, Josette, Reginald, Leo, Larry, Donne, Lorie, Edward, Remi, Ellis and Jacque.
