Michael Kupers
Suddenly at his home on Tuesday, November 11, 2003 at the age of 47. Loving son of Florence and the late John. A great brother and friend of Janet, John (Judy) and Jim (Louise). A fun loving uncle of Brandon, Laura, Amanda and Stephanie. Michael will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A private family service will be held.

Bernice Gladys Redfearn
Suddenly on Tuesday, November 11, 2003 at home. Bernice, beloved wife of Eugene (Dutch) Bekker. Loving mother of Reed and his wife Gloria and Lee Ann and her husband Rick Leitch. Bernice will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Richard and his wife Marie, Jeffrey, Melissa, Jenna, Peter and her great grandchildren Taylor and Christine. Bernice is survived by her mother Evelyn Mallett, brother Gordon and his wife Hillary Mallet, niece Samantha and nephew James. Bernice is predeceased by her father Bernard Mallett. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Saturday at 3 p.m. Cremation. The family would appreciate donations to the Humane Society or having trees planted in memory of Bernice.

John Michael “Jake” O’Toole
At St. Joseph's Health Centre on Wednesday, November 19, 2003. John, beloved husband of Ellen (Toronto). Loving father of Catherine Owens (Grand Rapids, Michigan) and Michael O'Toole. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Kyle, Meghan, Christopher, Brendan, Michael and Nicole. John is survived by his sister Margaret and her husband Gus Frontain (Upland, California), his brother Charles and his wife Laura (Meaford, Ontario) and his many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Friday 10 a.m. from St. Teresa's Catholic Church. Interment Glendale Memorial Gardens. The family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association in memory of John.

Nicholas Dvernechuk
(Goodyear Employee of 43 years) On Thursday, November 20, 2003 at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga Site, peacefully surrounded by his family. Nicholas, beloved husband and best friend of Olga. Loving father of Michael and his wife Kathleen of Oakville, Linda and her husband David Smith of Mississauga and Barb and her friend Karen Vanscoy of St. Catharines. Nicholas will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Michael, Derek, Mark, Nicholas and Stephanie. He is survived by his sister Rose and her husband Vic Kuchma, his brother James and his wife Darleen and brother-in-law Wally Stasiuk. Interment Springcreek Cemetery. Panakhyda on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Demetrius Ukrainian Orthodox Church would be appreciated.

Jean Pearson
Peacefully on November 22, 2003 in her 89th year. Predeceased by her husband Chester Pearson. Loving mother to Paul, Lucille (John) Crosier and Don (Ann) Pearson. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Karen, Kevin, Kathy, Jamie, David and great grandchildren Tyler and Aaron. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. André Gigault
Suddenly on November 22, 2003 at Toronto General Hospital in his 67th year. He will be sadly missed by his companion Barbara Morrison. Loving father to Marcel (Dawn), Pierre (Brenda) and Yvon (Laurie). Cherished grandfather to 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Betty Decelles
Peacefully at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga site on Wednesday, November 26, 2003 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Albert. Loving mother to Paul and Christine both of Toronto. At Betty’s request, there will be no funeral service. Cremation. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Peter Storrie Knight
After a valiant struggle with cancer, peacefully at home with his family at his side on Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at the age of 80. Loving husband of Dorothy for 57 years. Beloved father of David (Norma). Peacefully on Sunday, November 30, 2003 at Toronto General Hospital. Loving husband of Beryl Mary (nee Harper) for 53 years. Margaret Monica Sheridan
Peacefully, and surrounded by her children, on Thursday, December 18, 2003. Born in Carrickmacross, County Monaghan, Ireland. Margaret, devoted and beloved wife of Michael (deceased), happily married for 49 years. Loving mother of John and Roseanne Sheridan, Eileen and Dr. Daniel Malone, Maureen and Dr. Nicholas Mandrak, and Michael and Dr. Elizabeth Sheridan. 'Nana' will be lovingly remembered by her nine grandchildren, Kathryn, Sarah, Monica, Maggie, Katie, Devon, Madolyn, Alannah and Michael. She was recently recognized and celebrated for her 35 years of volunteer work for the Canadian Cancer Society. She was a founding and longtime member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Womens' League. Margaret's greatest legacy remains her wonderful example of unconditional love for her children and grandchildren. She gave us life and continues to live on in our hearts. Margaret is survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada, Ireland, England and Australia. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W.
