Peacefully at Mississauga Lifecare Centre on Thursday April 21, 2005 in her 93rd year. Survived by her nieces Eileen Gibbons (Vancouver), Evelyn (Harry) Dunn (Scotland) and two great nieces. Also sadly missed by the Oliver family. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Monday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass Tuesday 10 a.m. from St. Teresa s Catholic Church (Tenth St.). Peacefully on Friday, April 22, 2005 at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga in her 72nd year, Miriam, beloved wife of John. Dear loving mother to Dale Love (Ed) of Proton Station, Jackie McNeil (Frank) of Mississauga, Lea McNeil of Toronto and Debbie Moreira (Wilson) of Mississauga. Dear grandmother to Michelle, Eric, Natalie, Michael, Joshua, Isabella, Lucas, and Nicholas. Also sadly missed by her sister Lynn Trudel (Bob) of Sutton. She will also be missed by Cricket and Rusty. Nora Grace Newcombe (nee Gambell)
It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Nora on Sunday, April 24, 2005 at the Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga at the age of 82. Survived by her husband Albert for 56 years. Caring mother of John (Pat). Dear sister of May and Cliff. Nora will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Michael DeBlois
Suddenly on April 25, 2005 in his 48th year. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Noemi, and his 3 children, Michael, Robert and Rachel. Survived by his mother Rae and his brothers Robert, David, Marc, Ralph, Scott and his sisters Diane, Nina and Catherine. He is predeceased by his father Robert. Diane Jeffreys
passed away quietly at Toronto East General on April 23, 2005 at the age of 68. Predeceased by her husband George. Survived by her step-daughters Karen (Reg), Diane (Keith) and step-daughter in laws Helen (David), Marilyn (Ken) and 10 grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her brother Barry, niece Debbie, great nephew Trevor and predeceased by her great nephew Taylor. Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2005 at 1 p.m. from Glendale Memorial Gardens. If desired, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, Sick Children s Hospital or the Canadian Mental Health Association.

Luigina Di Franco
Peacefully on Friday, April 29, 2005 at Queensway Chronic Care in her 75th year, Luigina, beloved wife of Giuseppe. Dear loving mother to Domenico of Brampton, Michael (Mirella) of Mississauga, Danny of Mississauga and Lina of Etobicoke. Loving grandmother of Mark, Katie and Joseph. Sadly missed by her sisters Rosa Gesualdi, Pietrina Russo, Valleverde De Palma (Antonio) all of Etobicoke and her brother Antonio Lombardi (Giuseppina) of Woodbridge. Also sadly missed by her sister-in-law Antonietta Lombardi of Etobicoke and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. Mrs. Di Franco is predeceased by her parents, Gaetano and Maria Lombardi, her brothers, Francesco and Rafaele Lombardi and her granddaughter Jessica. Antonija Erjavec
On Saturday, May 7, 2005, at the age of 67, Antonija passed away peacefully in Markham, Ontario with grace and dignity, surrounded by her family. Loving wife and best friend of the late Anton. Loving mother of Mary and her husband, John, of Toronto, Martina and her husband, Bernie, of Markham, Marta of Minnesota, and Tony of Toronto. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Diana, Matthew, Andrew, Steven, Michael, Mary-Frances, Kaitlin and Jenna. Dear sister of Marica and Alojz of Slovenija. Predeceased by her brothers Joe of Pickering, Ivan, Tony and sister Ivanka of Straza of Slovenija. She is survived by her Aunt Ivanka of Toronto and her beloved Aunt Toncka and uncle Jaka Kovacic, and cousins of Ohio, Arizona, and Slovenia. Toncka worked variously as a nanny, a nurses aide at Scarborough General Hospital, a driving instructor, and for over twenty years as a factory assembler at Amphenol Canada. Toncka will be remembered and cherished by her family and the Slovenian community as a person of tremendous generosity and compassion. She selflessly poured herself out for others with passion and tenderness, and embraced life s challenges with faith, courage, and integrity. She will be sorely missed by all. A heartfelt thanks to the nursing and medical staff of St. Joseph s, St. Michael s, and Sunnybrook Hospitals. Special prayers and blessings to all the nurses and caregivers of Markham-Stouffville s 1-East Palliative Care Ward for their professionalism, sensitivity, compassion, and kindness in our mother s illness. Their goodness and care will never be forgotten.
