Eugen “Dutch” Bekker
passed away after a courageous battle on Sunday, May 22, 2005 at the Trillium Health Centre – Mississauga Site. Loving husband of the late Bernice. Proud dad of Reed (Gloria), Lee Ann (Rick) Leitch, and the late Kim. Loving papa of Richard (Marie), Jeffrey, Melissa, Jenna, Peter and his great-grandchildren Taylor and Christine. Brother of Herman, Yetty, Hanna, Gerri and the late Okko. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and many friends. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Wednesday from 6 to 9 pm. A Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, May 26, 2005 at 2 pm. Cremation. The family would appreciate having trees planted in memory of Dutch.

Ben Paskus
Suddenly on Wednesday, May 25, 2005. Ben, loving son of Louise Lemieux and Edward Paskus. Ben would have been 12 on Monday. He will be sadly missed and always remembered by his brothers Luke and Jacob. He is survived by his grandparents Fabiola and Raymond Lemieux and Vida and Vytas Paskus. Loving nephew of Andrew Paskus, Ben Lemieux, Marc and his wife Kelli Lemieux, Claire (Ben’s Godmother) and her husband Gerald Roy, Carole and her husband Alain Bouffard, Anne and her husband Dominic Gravel and Bens Godfather and close family friend Jake Michaelski. Ben will be sadly missed by his cousins Lisanne, Celine, Martin, Eric, Justin, Julia, Simon, Alexie, his many Great Aunts, Great Uncles and friends at St. Ambrose Catholic School. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Friday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11 a.m. from St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Interment St. Johns Lithuanian Cemetery, Mississauga. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate having trees planted in memory of Ben.

Wiera (nee Kamenec) Linok
After a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease, Wiera passed away on May 25, 2005. She joins her beloved husband Michael, who predeceased her in November, 2004. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Luba Linok-Kalimin, Nadia, and Michael, her sons–in-law Michael Kalimin and Pedro Pereyra, and her grandchildren; Michael, Nicholas, and Mark Kalimin, and Adrian and Alexandra Pereyra Linok. Wiera lived most of her life in Montreal; the latter two years in Toronto. Wiera was devoted to her family and church. She will forever be remembered for her generous heart and gentle ways. Her caring hands readily provided comfort, created magic in the kitchen and in the garden. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. with Panakhyda at 7:30 pm. The Orthodox Rite of Funeral will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at 9:30 am. from St. Demetrius Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Interment St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery. In Wiera’s memory, donations to St. Sophie’s Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral 6255 Saint-Michel, Montreal, Quebec H1Y 2E8 or to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.

Agata Bartnik

passed away on June 4, 2005 at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga after a short illness. Dearly loved mother and friend will be sadly missed by daughter Angela and son-in-law Omer. Daniel “Danny” Wilkinson
It is with profound sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Daniel on Wednesday, June 8, 2005. He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy. Dad to Judy (Peter), Cheryl (Carl) and step-dad to Linda (Vernon), James “Jim” and Wayne. Loving grandpa to Robin, Danielle, Nicholas, Crystal and Jonah. Brother to Shirley, Marie, Margaret, Lorraine (David), Rhona Claire (Cecil) and Lynn (Jackie). Brother-in-law to Toni Wilkinson and predeceased by his brother Doyle. Lilian Cragg
It is with great sadness that we have to say goodbye to Lilian Cragg who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 8, 2005. Beloved wife, mother and grandmother to Victor, Alan, Alex, Bryan and Darryl, she will be sadly missed. With Victor by her side we know she will always be with us. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, August 12 at 3:00 p.m. at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. Richard Ernest Kelly
passed away suddenly in Mississauga on Monday, June 6, 2005 at age 52. Dearly loved and survived by his three sons Grant, Greg and Jeffrey and brothers Robert, Frank, Bill, Charles and Jeff. Predeceased by his parents William and Joyce Kelly. A resident of Barrie. Rick was an industrious, hard-working, free spirit and is sadly missed by his family and friends. Elaine Rezansoff
Elaine died June 11, 2005 at the age of 81. She is survived by her sister Lucille Reilkoff of Kamsack, Saskatchewan. Predeceased by her brothers John and Fred and sisters Anne and Dorothy. Loving aunt, great, and great-great aunt to many nieces and nephews across Canada. Special aunt to Darlene and Ken Carlson of Bellingham, Washington, Kathy Romanczyk, Ellen and Jim Robinson of London, Ontario. Special cousin to Joan and George Parker and missed by life-long friend Wanda. A Memorial Luncheon will be held on June 20, 2005. In Elaine’s memory, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Dorothy Adair
Peacefully at Trillium Health Centre - Mississauga, in her 85th year. Beloved wife to Sam. Loving mother to Sam Jr. (Claire) and Diane. Proud grandmother to Jamie (Stephanie), Drew and great-grandmother to Alexus. She will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends. Robert Nesbitt Hawkhisstone
Peacefully, on Wednesday, June 15, 2005, in Toronto, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Davis) for 61 years. Sadly missed by his extended family and friends. Longtime member of Franklin Horner Community Centre and longtime employee of Jupp Motors and Hearn Pontiac-Buick. A special thank you to Long Term Therapy at the Trillium Queensway site and the staff at McCall Centre for Continuing Care for their help and compassion during Robert's illness. Walter Herbert Gibbs
Peacefully on June 17, 2005 at Humber River Hospital. Loving husband of Mary. Loving father of Walter M. (Anne), Daniel, Kathy (Cameron), Kevin (Karen), and Gerald (Janice). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Carissa, Adam, Sean, Amanda, Tyler, Katlin, Daniel (D.J.), Spencer, Mikaela, and Justin. Beloved brother of Margaret Jones (Edward). Much loved by many nieces and nephews. A 28 year Veteran of CP Rail Agincourt. The family wishes to express much thanks to Anne Mason and the nurses of B6 for their care and compassion. passed away peacefully at the Mississauga Hospital on Sunday, June 19, 2005 at the age of 71. Leaving 2 sons Thomas and Scott Hewgill of Windsor and 2 sisters Margaret and Emma Jean of Collingwood. Pauline Jennifer Golding
passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 19, 2005 at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga in her 52nd year. Much loved daughter of Valda and the late Harold Golding and her stepfather Neville. Cherished mother of Cory. Sadly missed by her brothers Michael and Orville, sisters Sandra and Carolyn, uncle Georgie, niece Nakisha and other relatives and friends. Long time resident of the Alderwood Community in Etobicoke. Retired, 21 year employee of the Etobicoke Board of Education at Alderwood and Lake Shore Collegiates. Active volunteer at the Trillium Health Centre, Queensway Site, formerly Queensway General Hospital in Etobicoke, for the past several years. passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2005 in her 80th year. "Happy to at last join my beloved husband Joseph (Buzz) Heasty. Although I must leave my adored son Bradley, his lovely wife Gail, and my much loved grandson Mitchell Joseph Heasty, I believe we will be together again one day. Survived by my sisters Audrey and Barbara of Jamaica, Eileen, of Belwood, Ontario. Brother-in-law Ron and his wife Jaquie of Kincardine, and many nieces and nephews. Willena is predeceased by her sister Dorothy and her husband Evan and her brother-in-law Harold." Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. passed away peacefully on July 3, 2005 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre. Loving mother to Peter French, Nicola French-Marcussen and her husband Rob.
