Peacefully with her family by her side, on July 3, 2005 at the Trillium Health Centre-Mississauga site, at the age of 79. Predeceased by her husband beloved husband Gerard. Loving mother to Joseph. Survived by her sister Beatrice, Rose Anne and brother James. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, 10 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church (782 Browns Line). Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Rose Annie Shangrow
Peacefully at Lake Shore Lodge on Wednesday, July 6, 2005. Rose, beloved wife of the late Arthur George Shangrow. Loving father of Kathleen & her husband Merlin Smith, June & her husband Clifford Hall, Richard and his wife Betty and Nona and her husband Jim Robinson. Rose will be sadly missed by her 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. Peacefully, on July 6, 2005, at Malton Village Long Term Care Centre, in her 89th year. Pre-deceased by her husband Ernest. Survived by her daughter Joan Patterson and husband Nelson Patterson (Etobicoke), daughter Margaret Tatam (Whitehorse, Yukon), granddaughter Alicia Tatam,also of Whitehorse; nieces Elizabeth Fisher and her husband Gerald (Bermuda), and Jeannette Rooney and husband Brendan (Niagara Falls). passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, July 9, 2005. Resident of Alderwood for 60 years. Member of Alderwood United Church for 50 Years. Margy is survived by her beloved husband Harold File, married for 67 years. Her dear sister Betty Woods of Roblin, Ontario. Mom will be missed always by her children Denis File, Betty Jean and John Farran. Devoted gramma to Beth and Jim, Casey and Lisa, Laura and Rob, and Jessie. Loving father to Frank and his wife Dawn, Mary Bruyea and her husband Michael, Sylvia Bottrell and her late husband John, Joseph and his wife Kathryn and Brenda Novak and her husband James. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by sixteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and dearest friends Herbert and Tony. Darinka Blatnik (nee Dular)
It is with great sorrow that our family announces the death of our dearly beloved mother at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on July 13, 2005 in her 83rd year. Loving mother of Maryanne Walker and her husband Mike, Mayda Timberlake and Doreen Gormley. Devoted grandmother of Andrea, Cheryl, David and Lisa. Predeceased by her loving husband Albin, who she deeply missed. Will be sadly missed by brother Dusan Dular and his family in Jurka Vas, Slovenija, relatives Maksa Zagar, Vera Zagar as well as other relatives and friends in Slovenija,. A kind and loving woman, she endured a lengthy struggle with chronic illness with courage and determination, always maintaining her dignity and hope. She lived her entire life with her strong faith, love of life and unselfish devotion to her family whom she loved unconditionally. We will forever treasure our precious memories of our remarkable and inspirational mother. The family would like to sincerely thank all staff at Dom Lipa Nursing Home for their compassionate care and many acts of kindness extended to our dear mother during her two year stay. Thanks also to the wonderful care provided by the exceptional doctors and nurses at St. Joseph’s Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to Dom Lipa, 52 Nielson Drive, Etobicoke would be greatly appreciated. Mary (Molly) Davie
Peacefully, in Brampton on Friday, July 15, 2005, at the age of 78. Reunited with her husband Norman after 42 years. Long time resident of New Toronto. Molly, beloved aunt of Fran McCall, Ian Davie, and Lorna Bal. She will be sadly missed by her loving best friend Dorothy Cheyne. Fondly remembered by the Cheyne family of Barrie, and also her family in Scotland. Molly was a secretary at James S. Bell Public School, retiring in 1989 after 29 years of service. The family wishes to thank Angela and the staff of Woodhall Park for their care and kindness during Molly’s stay with them. Isabell Dora Cowie
Peacefully on Monday, July 18, 2005 in her 88th year, at the William Osler Centre Etobicoke Site. Isabell Cowie, beloved wife of the late John Herbert Cowie. Loving mother of Marlene and her husband James Golden and David and his wife Linda. Cherished grandmother of Michael and Timothy and Diana Golden, John David Cowie, Robert Samuel Cowie and great granddaughter Bianca Golden. Dear sister of Roy Smith and his wife Peggy of Gravenhurst and predeceased by Sidney and Gordon. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. Ramon Malayny
Unexpectedly at his residence Ray passed away. Survived by his sisters Stella Rizun of Guelph, Rosalia Kondusky of St. Catherines and brother James of California. He will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and family. Private family services.

Janet Clunie (nee Blair)
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Janet Clunie at the Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, on July 27th, 2005, in her 83rd year. Loving wife of the late John Arthur Clunie, and loving mother of David, Jack and Bill and his wife Susan. Sadly missed by grandchildren Ian and his wife Patricia, Catherine and her husband Daniel and great-grandson Drake. Dear sister of Margaret, May, John, Bill, and the late James. Robert “Bob” Chute
passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2005 after a valiant struggle, surrounded by his family. Survived by his wife Suzanne. Bob will be remembered by his sister-in-law Judy Duck, sister Donna Rowley and brother William Chute. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Peter Balaura
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Peter on Friday, September 2, 2005 at his home after a lengthy illness, at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Jennie. Cherished son of Donna and the late Harry. He will be dearly missed by his son Andy and daughter Nadia (Paul) Zmiyiwsky; and grandchildren Basil and Luke. Much loved brother of Alex (Alexandra); and niece Marianne (Kiarash) and nephews Terry (Sharla) and Adrian. Brother-in-law of Carol (William) Michaluk and their children Katherine and John. Alfred Robichaud
Peacefully on September 4, 2005 at Credit Valley Hospital at the age of 81. Predeceased by his wife Mary (nee Lattanzi). Loving mother of Gloria (Doug McBryde) of Georgetown, Joseph (Lynne) of Victoria British Columbia and Yvette (Dave Donaldson) of Burlington. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Russell Rowe, Corey Bland, Travis Robichaud, Cale Robichaud, Cody Robichaud and great grandson Jacob (Jake) Rowe. In her 97th year, passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Fergus, Ontario on September 17, 2005 at the age of 96. Loved wife of the late Richard (Dick) Shushelnisky. Beloved mother of Olga Rivett, Doris Moody, Ernest Sheldon and his wife Dolores, Walter Sheldon and his wife June. Proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. William Howard Conners
(Retired from Molson’s Breweries after more than 30 years) Peacefully on Sunday, September 18, 2005 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in his 81st year. Beloved husband of the late Rose. Loving father to Alan and his wife Donna. Cherished grandfather to Melissa. Dear brother to Ernie, Norma Fyffe, June McBurney, Pat, Blanche Meechim and her husband Lucky and predeceased by Alan and Kenneth. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
