Winnifred Elizabeth Burnett
BURNETT, Winnifred nee Cox-January 4, 1913-May 3, 2003.
Win passed away peacefully in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband Edwin. She is survived by her four loving children Ross, Diane, Marion and Janice, her daughter-in-law Gaye, son-in-law Jeff, and six grandchildren Stephanie, Ryan, Jeffery, Sean, Jarrod, Scott and her extended family. They will all miss her grace, sense of humour and great strength. Friends may call on Monday, May 5, from 7-9 pm at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, May 6, 2003, at 2:30 pm. Interment York Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in Win's memory, would be appreciated by the family.

Helen Mary Koster
KOSTER, Helen Mary (nee Chapitis)-Passed on in her 95th year on May 3, 2003, with family by her side. Helen was a feisty, witty, fun-loving creative woman who lived her life with great passion and love. Grandma will be sadly missed by her nine grandchildren and her eighteen great-grandchildren. Helen is predeceased by her loving husband Albert, her daughter June Marie and her son Michael. She will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she touched. Friends may call at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Monday, May 5, 2003, from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at Blessed Sacrament Church(24 Cheritan Ave., Toronto) at 11 am. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

WALKER, Grace Edith Florence-Peacefully on Monday, May 5, 2003 at North York General Hospital in her 83rd year. Grace, beloved wife of the late Dennis Walker. Loving mother of Denise anf her husband Jim Jackson, and the late David and his wife Bonnie. Loving sister of June Faux. She will be fondly remembered by her five grandchildren as well as her great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the R.S. Josef Clemens Woitalla
WOITALLA, Josef C.-Peacefully at home on May 5, 2003 in his 85th year. Loving husband of Erika. Also survived by his son Peter Muellejans and his wife Colene. Grandfather of Derek, Mark and Michael. Great grandfather of Erik and Tyler. He will be missed by his brother Bruno and many nieces and nephews from Germany. Also remembered by the members of the Little Lake Recreation Club of which Josef was a long-time member. A special thank you to Susanna Reuter and Christiane Ermel for their care and support. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Chapel Service will commence at 1 pm on Thursday, May 8, 2003. Interment to follow at Elgin Mills Cemetery. Herbert Johann Josef Fenzl
FENZL, Herbert-Peacefully on Sunday, May 4, 2003 at the cottage on Naiscoot Lake, Point Au Baril at the age of 73. Herb, beloved husband of Betty. Loving father of Gregory and Susan Ariz. Proud grandfather of Angela and Christopher. Cherished brother of Erika of Austria. Dear friend of Dieter Keck, Bruno Lange, Dan Cole, Fay and Tony Mannina and Pat and Doug Holder. He will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. A Memorial Service will be held at Church of St. Luke Lutheran (3200 Bayview Ave., at Finch), on Friday, May 9, 2003 at 11 am. KELLY, Rose-Peacefully on Sunday, July 6, 2003 at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital, in her 82nd year. Rose, beloved wife of the late John Kelly (1992). Loving mother to Rosemarie and her husband Paul Cook, John and his wife Mary-Alice and Patricia and her husband Carson Allard. Cherished grandmom to Paul (Gisela), Kelly-Ann, Patrick, Catherine (Leland), John, Matthew, Elizabeth, Lucas and Natalie and great-grandmom to Alexandra, Arianna and Emily. Rose will be missed dearly by her many friends at Tollendal Village. Friends will be received at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., south of Steeles, at Goulding), on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the chapel on Thursday, July 10, 2003 at 11 o'clock. Margaret Blandina Morton
MORTON, Margaret B.(nee: Magani)
October 5, 1930 - July 8, 2003-After a courageous effort in her 6 year fight against cancer, Margaret slipped from us at her ever-loved home on Tuesday, July 8th, 2003. She was accepting of her fate and the trust in her faith was never in question. Margaret was grateful for the comfort brought by all those who offored their prayers. She was very thankful for the professional care, allowing her to remain at home. Margaret, in her 73rd year of life, is survived by by devoted loving husband Jim, daughter Joanne and her husband Philip Taylor, sons John Morton, Greg Morton, Blair Morton and his wife Jutta and Alexandra, Margaret's ever adored grandchild. Her surviving sisters, Mary and her late husband Rocky Colangelo, Ellen and her late husband Louis Di Rocco, Elisa and her husband Victor Cammisa, were in her thoughts to the end. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, many of whom she so greatly appreciated seeing this past year. Margaret is predeceased by her parents Frank and Emma Magani and her only brother Joseph Magani. Family and friends are welcome for visitation at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, between Steeles and Finch) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Bonaventure Church (1300 Leslie Street, south of Lawrence) on Friday, July 11, 2003 at 11 am. Cremation. Arthur Allan Glashan
GLASHAN, Arthur Allan-Passed away peacefully in his 93rd year on Friday, July 11, 2003. Arthur was a pioneer in English Catholic Education in the Province of Quebec, accumulating 50 years in the field. He began his teaching career at St. Anne's Elementary School in Montreal and ended it as a professor at Bishop's University in Lennoxville, Quebec. Arthur was an accomplished athlete who played and coached football, baseball and hockey. He was the beloved husband of the late Veronica (nee Doyle) and loving father of Barbara Sheridan, Patrick and his wife Patricia, and Elizabeth Bouchard and her husband Ray. He will be missed by his grandchildren Patrick and Paul (Barbara), David, Andrew, and Elizabeth (Patrick), Sean, Katie, Daniel, and Mary (Elizabeth) and by his two great-grandchildren Shane and Aiden (Barbara), and by his many nephews, nieces and friends. Dear brother of George and predeceased by Keith, Robert, Allan and Mildred. Friends may call at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Monday, July 14, fro 7 - 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Church Of The Good Shepherd (21 Simonston Blvd., Thornhill) on Tuesday, July 15 at 11 am. Interment will be at the Cote Des Neiges Cemetery, Montreal at a later date. I Man Chin
Passed away peacefully with her family beside her, at the Yee Hong Centre on Friday, 11th July, 2003, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Sit Kee. Devoted mother of Elizabeth (Ian Hill), Robert (Elizabeth Ng), Edith (Douglas Harrington), Margaret and Kenneth (Martina Yu). Cherished grandmother of Serene, Kevin, Ewan, Bryce, Adrienne, Alvin, Ryan and Valerie. Fondly remembered by her brothers, sister, sisters-in-law and many nephews and nieces.
Friends may visit at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, Toronto, south of Steeles) on Tuesday, 15th July, from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Chapel of R.S. Kane Funeral Home on Wednesday, 16th July, at 11 am.

Peter Pavlin
PAVLIN, Peter-Died peacefully, with his family by his side, on the afternoon of Sunday, July 13, 2003, at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband of 47 years to Stefanie. Loving father of the late Gregory, Peter Jr. and his wife Belina, and his daughter Teresa. Proud Papa of his grandchildren Steven and David. He leaves his sister Anica and many relatives and friends in Slovenia. He was a veteran of the Slovenian Civil War (Domobranci), and was an Ontario Land Surveryor for 41 years. Among his many contributions to the community, he was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, a Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, and a Knight of Malta. Friends and family may visit the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles), on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am on Thursday, July 17, 2003 at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church (650 Sheppard Avenue East). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Dom Lipa Slovenian Senior Citizen's Centre, 52 Neilson Drive, Toronto, Ontario M9C 1V7, or charity of your choice would be appreciated.

LOFRANCO, Mary (Rocco) Nee Pantalone-Peacefully after a long and courageous struggle passed away on Tuesday July 16, 2003. Beloved wife of Anthony. Devoted and loving mother of Michael, Jeannie, Rocky and Adrianna Lofranco, Mary-Jo and Nick Corriero. Cherished by her grandchildren Anthony, Christopher and Amal Tintinalli, Mary and Domenic Romeo, Jennifer, Mary-Nicole and Joseph Corriero, Tony, Michael, Stephanie, Santino, Spencer and Rocky Jr. Lofranco and great grandmother of Rocco and Amanda Romeo. He will be sadly missed by his children Mary Haffey, Teri (Ron), David and his wife Sonja. Cherished Papa of 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Laura Madeline Weaver
WEAVER, Laura Madeline (nee Hoad) - Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 23, 2003, in her 82nd year, after a 2 year battle with colon cancer. Laura leaves to mourn her loss but remember her love and guidance, her three children Wayne, Elaine and Marilyn, her daughter-in-law Pam, son-in-law Darshan, and her dear granddaughters Amanda and Karen Weaver. Her dearly beloved husband Alfred William Weaver and her eight siblings predeceased her. Laura grew up in German Mills and her lifetime hobby was researching local history. Visitation will be held at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles), on Friday, July 25, 2003 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Her Funeral Service will be held at St. Patrick's Anglican Church (1087 Lillian St., just south of Steeles) on Saturday, July 26, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Thornhill Cemetery (John St.). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Patrick's Anglican Church, 1087 Lillian St., North York, ON M2M 3G1.
