LAMBE, Sister Cecilia, RSM — Entered into eternal life at the Health Sciences Complex June 1, 2004, Sister Cecilia Lambe, age 66 years. Predeceased by her mother Kathleen (Poulain) Lambe and brother John. Leaving to mourn her Congregation the Sisters of Mercy, her father David Lambe, sisters Flora Fowler, Mae Lambe, Maureen (Ross) Hodder, Betty (Keltie) Voltier; brothers Pat, Kevin (Joan), Eugene, Tom (Geraldine), David Jr. (Ann), Gerald (Paula) and Fred (Debbie); sisters-in-law Hannah and Marian; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Also leaving to mourn the people of Rushoon, Parker's Cove, Petite Forte and South East Bight where Sister Cecilia ministered as Pastoral Assistant. Resting at McAuley Convent, 250 Waterford Bridge Road, St. John's on Wednesday, June 2, 2004, 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, June 3 until 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 4th at 11:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish Church, Waterford Bridge Road with interment to follow at Belvedere Cemetery. May she rest in peace.

Leaving to mourn sons: Brian, Jim (Wanda), Gerry (Gail); daughters: Gertrude (Ed), Geralyn (John) and Elaine (Paddy); grandchildren: Donny, Barry, Michelle (Jeremy), Andrew (Kate), Jimmy, Michael, Dana, Tara, Karen, Kayla, Paddy, Christopher; great-grandchildren: Curtis, Jessica, Caleb and Koyote; sisters-in-law Bride Kelly and Mary Walsh; brother Cyril (Cal) and Joe King; as well as a large circle of other relatives and special friends, especially Dept. BROWNE-McGRATH, Bridget (Bride) - Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, June 28, 2004, at 7:15 a.m. Predeceased by her husbands Bernard Brown and Donald McGrath, and parents Nicholas and Bridget Mooney; brothers: Joseph and Nicholas; sisters: Katherine, Violet, Agnes, Madeline and Maye. Leaving to mourn his daughter Lorraine White (Jimmy); sons: Noel (Jeanette), Gary (Paula), Keith (Rose), David (Liz); her ever adored 13 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife Ellen in (1974) and daughters Angela (1957) and Bernadette (1956). Leaving to mourn daughters Veronica Thistle (Nat) and Mary Lacey (Gus); sons Leo (Elaine), Syl (Sheila) and Paddy; sister Sr. Annie Murphy (Montréal); sisters-in-law Josephine Waterman, Mary Waterman and Agatha Waterman; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, especially the staff and his friends of the Hoyle Home P.C.U. Left with fond and loving memories, her sons: John (Jenny), Mike (Betty), Perry (Judy); daughters: Marg Wood (Ray), Deborah Neely and Paula Boland (Chris); 17 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters: Marg Evans, Nell Croft and Kay Wall; brother Frank Donovan; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents William and Ethel O'Brien. Leaving to mourn daughter: Susan Nichols (Rodney) of Edmonton, AB; son: Shannon of Torbay and their mother Marg O'Brien. Precious grandchildren: Stacey and Blake Nichols; brother: John (Mary); sisters: Patricia Duffett (William), Audrey Sharen (Robert), Barbara Hillier and Yvonne Bastow. Mary Bridget Reid
REID, Mary Bridget – Passed peacefully away on June 27th, 2004, at her residence, Shea Heights, Mary Bridget Reid (nee Cooper) aged 73 years. Predeceased by her husband John Sr. on July 6th, 1997 and son John Jr. on July 19th, 2001. Leaving to mourn her six sons: Jim (Mary), Edward (Cathy), Bill (Hazel), Glenn (Tina), Terry and Rick; five daughters; Mary Ann (Jim Croke), Loretta, Donna, Karen (Tony O’Donnell) and Cindy; 23 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers: John Cooper (Joan), Joey Cooper and Jimmy Cooper (Alice); four sisters Lol (Roy Williamson), Toronto; Gladys (Harold Penny), Madonna (Eric Mercer) and Rita Hicks of Toronto; sister-in-law Mary Wareham, also many nieces, nephews, and friends of Shea Heights. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Sunday from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. Fuenral Mass on Tuesday, June 29th, 2004, at 11:30 a.m. from St. John Bosco Church. Robert Reid
REID, Robert – born July 27th, 1968, passed quietly into the waiting arms of Our Lord on June 13th, 2004, after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by his family and friends. Robbie was optimistic, always smiling and an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and loved to Golf. At the young age of 35, he left behind a devoted and loving wife Sandra and three year old precious child, little Robbie. Leaving to mourn his beloved mother and father Robert and Sarah Reid, his sisters Cathy, Rosalyn (Bert) and brothers John (Lisa) and Sean (Laurie); also leaving to mourn brothers-in-law: Simon, Tom (Kim); sisters-in-law: Donna (Tony) and Deanne; also many other supportive family and friends. A special thank-you to Dr. Rourke and nurse Bertha and the nursing staff at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Clinic. Pilar Riego, former school teacher in Davis Inlet, Leading Tickles and Ramea, also former owner of Lord God The Father Almighty Creator & King Of Heaven & Earth Hospitality Inn; where she cared for “the young and old alike.” Predeceased by her husbands, Wilfredo Riego and Valentine Hickey. Left with fond and loving memories, from her daughters & son-in-laws: Delilah (Tom), Rose Mary & Edwin, Marissa & Lawson, Lourdes & Scott; sons & daughter- in-laws: Nick & Betty, Gary (Evelyn), (Rosita), Melvin (Lita) and Wilf & Patty; grandchildren: Leah, Jonah, Abel, Samuel, Andre, Rosalind, Sophie, Hazel, Nathan, Jamie, Aidrianna, Juliana, Jennifer May, Kimberly, Vanessa, Rocky, Mervin, Gary Dean, Burt, Tiah, Kiana, Nyka, and Noah; Also predeceased by brothers, Damaso and Mariano & sister, Lina.
