Peacefully at the Montreal General Hospital on December 2nd, 2004 in his 90th year. Husband of the late Rita Hunter. Dear father of David. Brother of Frieda and the late Melanie. Visitation at the Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd., (corner Isabella) on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. Funeral Mass at Parish of the Annunciation (corner Laird & Alexander), T.M.R., on Monday, December 6th at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

ALBERT nee Vaz, Thelma
Went home to God on Sunday, September 14th, 2003. Proud mother of Jean. Sister of Newton Vaz, Elsie Gama Rose and Mercia Vaz. Will be remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation at the Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd., (corner Isabella) on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9. A prayer service will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Ignatius of Loyola Church on Thursday, September 18th at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Quebec Diabetes Association, 5635 Sherbrooke East, Mtl., H1N 1A2.

ALEXEIEW Maria (nee Fischer)
At the Maimonides Geriatric Center on November 28, 2004 aged 83 years. Loving wife of Nicolai. Mother of the late Nicolai Jr (Aline). Beloved grandmother of Scott and Paul. Dear sister of Edwige Lavine of Germany. Aunt of Ursula and Wolfgang. Survived by many other relatives in Germany, Russia Latvia, USA and Canada. Visitation at the Kane and Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd. (corner Isabella) on Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. A graveside service will take place on Friday, December 3 at 3:00 pm at the Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

ANDREWS, Anne (nee Seniw)
Died peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital on December 15th, 2001. Loving mother of Martha (Philip Sofronas), Ruth Andrews and Scott (the late Judith McElligott). Dear grandmother of Marianna, Niki, Jeffrey, Sara, Sabrina and Samantha. Great-grandmother of Dylan, Keith and Chelsey. Sister of Stephen (Olga), Mary Yashan and the late Peter (Olga). Will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Thanks to the doctors and medical staff of the Royal Victoria Hospital. ASCONI, Orfeo "Alfred"
Nonno Freddy passed away Wednesday, January 23rd, 2002, peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Nina (Antonina Bartolini) for 59 years. Loving father of Ronald (Eva) and Robert (Diane). Loving grandfather of Lara, Candace, Mark, Ashlee and Laurielle. Brother to Nina (Fiorelli). Predeceased by brother Joe, Leo, Armand and sisters, Helen and Grace. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Cardiac Unit M5. No visitation. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 875 Marcel-Laurin Blvd., St. Laurent, on Friday, January 25th at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

ATKINSTALL, Astley Uriah
Went home to be with the Lord on December 15th , 2001 aged 89 at the Henri-Bradet Nursing Home. Beloved husband of the late Mrs. Blanche Atkinstall and former husband of Zetella Bingham. Loving father of Carl (Merlene), Lydia, Glaister (Patricia), Beverly (Fitzroy Maitland), Patricia (Clinton Ritchie), Vanderbilt, Lorna, Paul and Alice. Survived by twenty-six grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces , nephews, cousins and many beloved friends. Visitation at the Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd. (corner Isabella) on Wednesday December 19th 2001, from 7 to 9 pm and Thursday December 20th 2001, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at the First Baptist Church, 6215 Cote St-Luc Rd, H3X-2H3 (corner West Hill) on Friday, December 21st at 11:00 am. Family will receive condolences at church from 10:30 am. Interment at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery. Special thanks to Dr. L. Mazella and the third floor staff for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations to First Baptist Church or the Henri Bradet Nursing Home (6465 Chester ave., Mtl., P.Q., H4V-2Z8) would be appreciated.

At the Grace Dart Hospital on September 20, 2003 in her 90th year. Velma Pringle, wife of the late Leonard Barnes. Sister of the late Brenda Pringle. Dear cousin of Bill McCarthy (Elaine) and Pauline Lalonde. Also loving aunt of Susan and Scott McCarthy. BEAUDRY, Geraldine (nee Quinn)
In Montreal, on August 10th, 2003. Wife of the late Adrien Beaudry, loving mother of Lorraine Beaudry (Casella), Geraldine (Geoffrey Fabb) Mississauga, Edgar (Mary Kim Chichocki) Mississauga, John (Judith Forrest) Oakville, Grace Ann (Frank Boleska) Burlington. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and her sister Audrey Quinn, brothers Emmett Quinn and D'Arcy Quinn. Visitation at Kane & Fetterly funeral parlor, 5301 Decarie Blvd. (corner Isabella), on Tuesday, August 12, 2003, from 2 to 5 pm and from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass at Parish of the Annunciation of our Lady Church (75 Roosevelt Ave., Town of Mount Royal) on Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at 10 am. Thence to Notre-Dame-des Neiges cemetery. BOCCINI-NINCHERI Elfie (nee Iussa)
Peacefully , after a long illness, on Saturday, April 5th, 2003 at CHSLD Bussey in Lachine. Wife of the late Gabriel Nincheri. Lovingly remembered by her sons Roger (Andrée) and Roland (Penny), her grandchildren Glenn, Tracy, Adriana and Ricardo and her brother-in-law George Nincheri (Terry). Cherished friend to many who remember her as a concert pianist and piano teacher whose boundless energy inspired all. Visitation at the Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd. (corner Isabella) on Tuesday from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 pm. Complete Funeral Service from the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday,April 8th at 11:00 am.

BRILLANT, Jacques
En sa résidence, le 27 juillet 2004, est décédé Jacques Brillant à l'âge de 79 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Louise, ses trois fils Jules (Claire), Jean (Véronique) et Stéphane (Marion) ainsi que ses sept petits-enfants. Il laisse également dans le deuil ses soeurs Madeleine (Claude) et Suzanne (Hans), son frère Aubert (Debby), sa belle-soeur Suzanne de Rimouski ainsi que de nombreux parents et amis. La famille recevra parents et amis de 15:00 hres à 18:00 hres. Remerciements spéciaux à Pauline et Lucie pour leurs bons soins.
