Vernon Blackett
Peacefully at the Souris Hospital on Wednesday July 24, 2002 of Vernon Blackett of Howe Bay in his 78th year.
Beloved husband of the late Cinderella Blackett and step-father of Brenda Mossman. Survived by sisters Grace Jackson, Betty Blaisdale and brother Sterling Blackett. Predeceased by brothers Raymond, Leroy. Jim, Bill, Wally and Victor.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home Souris for visiting hours on Friday, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral to be held Sat. morning from Annandale United Church with funeral service at 11 a.m. Internment in the church Cemetery. If so desired donations to the Souris Hospital would be appreciated.

Gus Bailey
Peacefully at the Souris Hospital on Jan. 11, 2002 of Gus Bailey of Elmira in his 91st year.
Beloved husband of Lillian (nee Archer). Dear Father of Michael (Linda), Kevin (Sheila), Arnold (Nancy) and foster Daughter Margie Stewart. Also sadly missed by 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, Sisters Mae Byrns, Rose Cheverie, Sister In-Law Dot Bailey and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Aenaes and Mary Jane (nee Jarvis), Sisters Margaret Ross, Isabel Power, Katie Murphy and Bernadette Bailey. Brothers Jimmy and Harold, Brother-In-Law Dick Ross, Shadey Power, Pius Murphy, Louis Byrns and John Cheverie, Sister-In-Law Edie Bailey and Grandson Peter Bailey.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home for visiting hours on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. till time of funeral. Funeral to be held Monday Morning from St Columba Church Fairfield with funeral mass to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Internment in the church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Souris Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Muriel B. Richards
Suddenly at the Colville manor on Wed. May 15, 2002 of Miss Muriel B. Richards "Mooie" of Souris and formerly of Calgary AB aged 77 years.
Loving sister to Joan (Alan) MacLean, Pauline Maclean all of Souris and Sister In-Law to Muriel E. Richards of Charlottetown. Special Aunt to Allan Maclean of Charlottetown, Nancy MacLean-Eveson (Larry), Marcy (Donnie Robertson all of Souis West,and Rowan (Holly) MacLean of Kamloops BC. Great Aunt to Lucas Robertson of Charlottetown, Justin MacLean of Kamloops and Jennifer Palais of Florida.
Predeceased by her Parents Norman and Laura Richards, Brother Claude N. Richards and sister Enid Baker.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home Souris. No visiting hours by personal request. Relatives and Friends are invited to the Funeral Service to be held from the Dingwell Funeral Home Chapel Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. Flowers greatfully declined. if so desired donation to the St James United church would be appreciated. Internment in the Union Cemetery Souris West. Please refrain from wearing scents or perfumes due to allergies.

Margaret Lewis
Peacefully at the Colville Manor Souris on Thurs. Jan. 10, 2002 of Mrs. Margaret Lewis, wife of the Late James A. Lewis of St Peters Bay in her 94th year.
Loving mother of Betty (Eugene) MacAulay, Mary Jo (Dennis) Cyr, Anna (Earl) Mullallay and David (Marilyn Cheverie). Also survived and sadly missed by 23 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by infant daughters Teresa and Margaret and Son-In-Law Thane Rattray.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home Souris for visiting hrs on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Sat. from 12 noon till time of funeral. Funeral to be held Sat. afternoon from the St Peters Bay R. C. Church with funeral mass to be celebrated at 2 p.m. Internment in the church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donation to the Colville Manor or the St Peters Bay Catholic Cemetery would be appreciated.

Clinton Ira Young
Suddenly at his late residence on Monday, December 2, 2002 of Clinton Ira Young of Fortune aged 67 years.
Beloved husband of Doris (nee Jackson). Loving father of Shirley (Brian) Hazeldon, Cathy (Ricky) Peters, Christa (John) Betts. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Jasmine, Jocelyn, Dylan, Joshua and Jackson. Also left to mourn is brother Howard and sisters Blanche, Margaret, Dolly and Doreen. Predeceased by parents Ira & Elva Young and sister Shirley.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home Souris for visiting hours on Wed. 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral to be held Thursday afternoon from Bay Fortune United Church with funeral service at 2 p.m. Internment in the Kingsboro Cemetery.

Margaret Elizabeth Outhouse
Peacefully and surrounded by her 7 sons and Daughters In-law at the Souris Hospital on Sunday, November 17, 2002 of Margaret Elizabeth Outhouse (nee MacIntyre) of Souris aged 74 years.
Beloved wife of the late Allison Outhouse. Loving mother to Mike, David (Kathy), Roger (Colleen), Johnny (Debbie), Bobby (Sharlene), Willard and Ronnie (Cindy). Also sadly missed by 13 loving grandchildren and brother James (Met) MacIntyre. Predeceased by brothers Rod, Chester, Ambrose, Herbie, John D., sisters Mary, Jean, Jessie and parents Ambrose and Flora MacIntyre.

Debbie Outhouse
Peacefully at the Souris Hospital on Friday, April 16, 2004 of Debbie Outhouse of Souris West aged 44 years. Beloved wife of John Outhouse. Loving Mother to Kim of Halifax, Adam and Heather. Sadly missed by Sisters Vivian Martindale, Irene (Roger) Fraser both of Ottawa, Dorothy (John) Stoltz, Rothsay, N.B. Hope (Vernon) MacInnis, Quispamsis, N.B. and Valerie Campbell, Souris. Also left to mourn are Brothers and Sisters-in-law Mike, Souris, David (Kathy), Northlake, Roger (Colleen), Souris, Bobby (Charlene), Souris, Willard, Charlottetown and Ronnie (Cindy), Souris and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Parents Bernard and Helen Creamer, Father and Mother-in-law Allison and Margaret Outhouse, Sisters Beverley and Helen 'Bunnie', Brothers-in-law Buddy Campbell and Bill Martindale.

Annie E. MacPhee
Peacefully at the Colville Manor Souris on Thursday April 3, 2003 of Annie E. MacPhee (nee Whitty) of Selkirk aged 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred MacPhee. Loving mother to Winston (Imelda) MacPhee of Hamilton, Ont., Billy (Sandra) MacPhee of Victoria, B.C. and Kevin MacPhee of Kitchener, Ontario. Also left to mourn are 7 grandchildren . 8 great-grandchildren last surviving sister-in-law Laura Whitty and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Annie(nee Carberry) MacPhee and sons Frank and George MacPhee. Peacefully at the Souris Hospital on Saturday, December 11, 2004 of Maureen MacPhee (nee Callahan) of Souris aged 68 years.
Loving Mother to Timmy (Charlene) MacPhee of Selkirk, Marjorie (Daniel) Chaisson of Rollo Bay. Sadly missed by grandchildren Cory, Kelly and Darcy Chaisson. Predeceased by her Parents Timothy P. and Anna Mae (nee MacCormack) Callahan, Brothers Mike, Johnny, Elmer, Jimmy, Hughie and Raymond 'Red'.

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Charlottetown on Friday, January 24, 2003 of Kenneth "Kenny Alex" Jerome MacKinnon of St Peters Bay aged 58 years. Beloved husband of Mamie MacKinnon (nee MacDonald). Loving father of Steven (Dana) of St Peters. Special grampie to Kristen and Kelsey. Also left to mourn is brother David (Heather) of Cable Head and sisters Bernie (Raymond) Wilson of St Peters, Barbara (Jerry) Simpson of Summerside and Marie (Kevin) MacInnis of Cross Roads and numerous nieces and nephews.
