Peacefully at the Colville Manor Souris on Thursday March 27, 2003 of Peggy MacDonald (nee O'Hanley) of Monticello aged 68 years.
Beloved wife of John Red Hughie MacDonald. Loving mother of Stephen (Bernadine) of Monticello, Chris (Frances) of Glenfanning, Joanne (Andre) Yoston of Launching and Robert (Connie) of Calgary. Sadly missed by grandchildren Ryan, Emily, Lydia, Matthew, Peggy, Syl and Caleb. Also left to mourn are sisters and brothers Helen MacDonald, Maud MacDonald, Elmer (Bernice) O'Hanley, Frank O'Hanley, Lennie (Isabel) O'Hanley, John Joe (Dot) O'Hanley, Jenny (Leo) McQuaid and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Daniel and Mary Ellen O'Hanley, sisters Mary, Mil and brothers Wally and Danny.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home Souris for visiting hours on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Monday morning from 9 a.m. till time of funeral. Funeral Monday morning from St Margaret's Church with funeral mass to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Internment in the Church Cemetery.

Marjorie C. MacDonald
Peacefully at the Colville Manor Souris on Tuesday March 11, 2003 of Marjorie C. MacDonald formerly of Red House in her 96th year.
Beloved wife of the Late John James MacDonald(1993).
Survived and sadly missed by sister Estelle (Lyle) Aker of Boston Mass., Niece Marjorie Aker (Fred) Sanford of medway Mass., also left to mourn are numerous nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home Souris for visiting hours on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Thursday morning from 9 a.m. till time of funeral. Funeral to be held Thursday morning from St Frances deSales Church Little Pond with funeral mass to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.

Lela Mildred MacDonald
Peacefully and surrounded by her family at the Souris Hospital on Wednesday, May 21, 2003 of Lela Mildred MacDonald (nee Jackson) of Red House aged 89 years.
Beloved wife of the late Ralph MacDonald. Loving mother to Annie (Archie) Livingstone, Elwin (Mildred), Gerald (Meriam), June (Ryk) Veld, Garnet (Marilyn), Owen (Debbie), Alice (Roger) Acorn, Audrey (Lloyd) MacDonald, Edward, Lela (Cecil) MacKay, Garry (Bernadette), Bev (Gary) MacDonald, Nora (Stanley) McCormack and Daughter-In-Law Helen MacDonald. Also left to mourn are 43 Grandchildren and 62 Great-Grandchildren. Survived by brothers and sisters Johnny (Irma) Jackson, George (Margaret) Jackson, Everett "Billy" Jackson, Nora MacLeod, Dot Burhoe and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Son Earl and brothers Sellens, Lloyd and Preston "Jimmy" Jackson.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home Souris for visiting hours on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral to be held Saturday afternoon from the Bay Fortune United Church with Funeral Service at 2 p.m. Internment in the Church Cemetery.

Joseph Angus MacDonald
Peacefully at the Souris Hospital on Thursday, January 30, 2003 of Joe "Waldo" MacDonald of Bothwell in his 79th year. Veteran of the second world war. Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Nykolyn) MacDonald. Loving father of Daniel (Joanne) of Munns Road, Gordie (Shelly) of Lower Sackville, N.S., Kenny (Auldine) of Calgary and Christine (Gary) of Bothwell. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Ryan, Amanda, Kody, Ashley, Amy, Mary Dawn and Jennifer. Survived by brothers Waldo (Marjorie) of Mass. USA, Elwin of Souris, sisters Mary (Late Charlie) Oickle of N.S., Margaret (Late Alfred) Fisher of Bothwell, Eleanor (George) Cheverie of Stratford, Anne Mae (Manny) Goes of Mass. USA and Hazel (Maurice) Corr of Kinkora. Predeceased by brothers Bernie and Daniel and sister Theresa and Parents Waldo and Mamie MacDonald. Also left to mourn are numerous nieces and nephews.

Members of the Souris Legion are requested to meet at the funeral home Sunday evening at 7 p.m. for a legion service.

Jamie Wilfred LaPierre
Suddenly in Little Pond on Wed. December 4, 2002 of Jamie Wilfred LaPierre formerly of Red Point aged 22 years. Sadly missed by special friend Joanne Robertson and son Brandon James Robertson. Loving son of Eric and Florence (nee Longaphee) of Red Point. Dear brother of Joseph of Calgary, Richard (Tracey) , Kirby and nephews Daniel and Alex all of Red Point. Also left to mourn are Grandmothers Dorothy LaPierre and Stella Longaphee. Predeceased by grandfathers Wilfred LaPierre and A.L. Longaphee.

Suddenly at East Point on January 31, 2003 of Jason Scott Holland in his 27th year. Beloved son of Marie (Arnold Yates). Sadly missed and loved by Grandmother Anna Holland and brother Matthew. Loving father of Colby and Cassandra. Also left to mourn by Aunts and Uncles Gladys, Randy, Barbi and Gordie. Special cousin to Robbie and Justin.

Peacefully and surrounded by his family at the Souris Hospital on Sunday, June 15, 2003 of William Everett Gregory of New Zealand in his 55th year. Dear father to Milfie (Chrystal) and Katie of Bangor. Son of Renilda Gregory (nee Mallard) and the Late Charlie Gregory. Brother of Eddy (Irene) of East Royalty, Mary Jean Amos of Montreal, George (Lois) of Rollo Bay, Melford (Dolly) of Norboro, Lorraine (Dan) Byrne of Byrne Road, Mae (Mike) Kielly of Toronto, Margaret (Leonard) Byrne of Byrne Road, D.J. (Debbie) of Rollo Bay, Lorna (Keith) Jennings of West Royalty and Melvina (Johnny) Gallant of New Zealand. Also left to mourn are his Aunts Mary Fisher of Souris and Ethel Longaphee of Moncton and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his brothers Sinnott and Kenneth.

Survived and sadly missed by sister Mabel (Irving) Baker, brother Earl (Ruth) Robertson sister-in-law Lorna Robertson, Pansy (Kenneth) MacLean, Doreen Hunter and Lydia (Albert) Browning and brother-in-law Jack (Cindy) MacDonald and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Lester and Gertrude Robertson, brothers Ervin and Walter, sisters Helen MacLeod and Ruth MacDonald, Step Mother Elizabeth Robertson and numerous sisters and brothers-in-law.

Peacefully at the Colville Manor Souris on April 5, 2003 of Ellen Douglas-Webber of Souris aged 76 yrs. Beloved friend of the late Michael Kolher. Dear sister of Flora Brothers of New Jersey. Also left to mourn are numerous nieces and nephews.Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Charlotte (nee Hughes) MacDonald .

Isabel "Belle" Jane Dingwell
Peacefully at the Souris Hospital on Thursday, February 6, 2003 of Belle Dingwell (nee Roach) of Fortune in her 67th year.
Beloved wife of Roy Dingwell. Loving mother of Barbie and Trina and grandmother of Ashley. Sadly missed by brothers and sisters Shirley Roach of Riverview, N.B. Ted Roach of Charlottetown, Fred (Silvia) Roach of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Pat (Dave) Knowles of Souris West, Sandy (Dianne) Roach of Pickering, Ont., George (Bev) Roach of Souris, Alan (Betty) Roach of Stratford, Paula Colquhoun of London, Ont., Jackie Roach of St John, NFLD., Dianne Burke of Souris, and Robin (Shauna) Roach of Alberton. also left to mourn are numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Fee and Gen Roach and brother Bobby.

Suddenly at her residence in Montague on Sunday, May 9, 2004 of Ada Florence Dingwell formerly of Little Pond and Boston, Mass. in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Edward Mercer. Dear Aunt to Lynda and Emma McFarlane, Betty Higgins(Clifton Gardiner), Lillian Garnhum, Lynn (Damien) MacDonald, June (Paul) Johnston and numerous grandnieces and nephews. Also left to mourn is brother-in-law Bert Mercer and nephew Gerald Russell of NFLD. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Bernice McFarlane, John Dingwell and Reginald and Pearl Dingwell.

Suddenly at his late residence on March 26, 2003 of Doug Corkum of Charlottetown and formerly of Souris in his 62nd year.
Beloved husband of Judy Morrow and loving father of Charity Sheehan (Glynn), Amanda Morrow (Eddie Peters). Also left to mourn is his mother Mary, brother Harold (Phyllis), sisters Crissy Stevens (George), Oneida Kaiser (Willard) all of N.S. Predeceased by his father Frank and brother Gordon.
