Peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Souris Hospital on Monday, June 14, 2004 of Helen Elizabeth Mallard (nee White) of Souris and formerly of New Zealand aged 81 years.
Beloved wife of the late William Mallard (1995). Loving mother to Lloyd (Joan) Mallard, Mary (Raymond) Hebert, Jean (Leo) Cormier, Gladys (Ralph) Neill, Linda (Cliff) Sherren and Janet (Wade) Clements. Sadly missed by 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Also left to mourn is brother Robert (Mamie) White, Step-sister Betty Gibara, Son-in-law Charles Thomson, Sisters-in-law Josephine White, Mary Fisher, Ronelda Gregory and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Daughter Margaret, Parents William and Mary Ann White, Brothers Bill, Tom, Charles, Francis, Dan, Reggie and Sisters Margaret and Annetta.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home, Souris, for visiting hours on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. till time of funeral.
Funeral to be held Wednesday afternoon from St Marys Church Souris with funeral mass to be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Internment in the church cemetery.
If so desired donations to the Cdn Diabetes Assoc. or the Colville Manor would be appreciated.

Gilbert P. Sheehan
Suddenly at his residence in Mt Hope on Saturday, May 15, 2004 of Gilbert P. Sheehan aged 46 years.
Loving Father of Trent and Shylah Sheehan. Dear Son of Loretta (nee McCormack) and the Late Louis Sheehan. Beloved brother of Marie (Jerry Gallant), Reggie (Ronelda), Lorraine (Brad), Gary (Cathy) and Karen. Also left to mourn are numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Leonard.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home Souris for visiting hours on Monday May 17, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday afternoon from 12:30 till time of funeral. Funeral to be held Tuesday afternoon from St Peters Bay Church with funeral mass to be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Internment in the church cemetery.

Joseph M. Peters
Suddenly at his residence in Stratford on Monday, May 3, 2004 of Joseph M. Peters formerly of Naufrage aged 57 years. Beloved son of Mary Peters (Prince Edward Home) and the late Raymond Peters. Dear brother of Margaret Creed, Theresa (Joe) Rooney, Shirley (Johnny) MacEachern, James (Pauline) Peters, Anne-Marie (Roddie) MacNeil. Survived by 19 nephews and nieces and 20 grand-nephews and nieces. Predeceased by Sister; Mary Melinda and brother; James Timothy and brother-in-law Danny Creed.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home Souris for visiting hours on Thursday, May 6, 2004 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 1:00 p.m. till time of funeral. Funeral to be held Friday afternoon from St Charles Church with funeral mass to be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. Internment in the church cemetery at a later date. Sheila Kathleen Banks
Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital Montague on May 2, 2004 of Sheila Kathleen Banks of Annandale aged 52 years. Beloved daughter of Gladys (nee Henry) and the late William 'Tommy' Banks. Dear sister of George (Anna), special Aunt of Thadius, Abigail and Tobius.

Frances Elizabeth LaVie
Peacefully at the Souris Hospital on Wednesday, April 28, 2004 of Frances Elizabeth LaVie (nee McCormack) of Souris aged 74 years. Loving mother to Eileen 'Wizzie' (Lloyd) Pilon, Angus, Alex (Dolly Gallant), Colin (Carla), Richard and Michelle (Alan) Aitken. Sadly missed by Grandchildren Michelle (Shawn Laybolt), Jamie Pilon, Morgan LaVie, Paige LaVie, Shawn and Natasha LaVie, Danielle LaVie and Tyler Aitken. Also left to mourn is Special Niece Debbie (Roger) Mahar. Predeceased by Parents Alex 'Eck' and Gertrude (nee Paquet) McCormack, Sister Peggy Conway, Eileen, Brother Clifton McCormack, Brother-in-law Dan and Sister-in-law Lizzie and brother-in-law Dan.

Reginald Joseph MacKinnon
Peacefully at the Souris Hospital on Friday, April 23, 2004 of Reggie MacKinnon of Monticello aged 60 years.
Beloved Husband of Anne MacKinnon (nee MacAdam). Loving Father to Beverly (Len) MacKinnon-Daley, Betty (Gerard) Crossman, Bernadine (Stephen) MacDonald, Brenda (Faber MacLaren) MacKinnon, Todd, Jeannie (Timmy) Carter. Sadly Missed by grandchildren, Calvin, Monica Daley, Joey, Cassie Crossman, Ryan, Emily, Lydia MacDonald, Dilan, Devin MacKinnon and William Carter. Survived by Brother Hughie (Helene) MacKinnon, Brothers-in-law Urban (Judy) MacAdam, George (Judy) MacAdam and Angus (Darlene) MacAdam and numerous nieces and nephews. Edna Mary MacKinnon
Peacefully and surrounded by her family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, April 16, 2004 of Edna Mary MacKinnon of Foresthill aged 71 years. Loving Sister to Earl (Pat) of Charlottetown, Alex of Foresthill and Aunt Irene MacDonald of Truro, N.S. Foster Sister Eleanor (Kevin) Larkin of Farmington. Predeceased by her Parents Jerome and Angelina (nee MacPhee) MacKinnon.
Resting at the Dr. Roddie Community Centre St Peters Bay with visiting hours on Sunday, April 18, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. till time of funeral. Funeral to be held Monday, April 19, 2004 from St Peters Bay Church with funeral mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment later in the church cemetery. Ernest Joseph MacKinnon
Peacefully at the Souris Hospital on Wednesday, March 10, 2004 of Ernest Joseph MacKinnon of Forest Hill aged 69 years.
Beloved husband of Catherine J. MacKinnon. Loving Step-father to Jennifer (Joey Miles) MacCormack, Yvonne (Jeremy) Lewis, Donelda (Wesley MacDonald), Johnny (Kim) Burke and Melvin (Jeannie) Burke. Sadly missed by 11 grandchildren. Survived by Sister Gertrude 'Gertie' (Desmond) Larkin, Brother Louis (Bunnie) MacKinnon. Also left to mourn is Uncle Arthur Flynn. Predeceased by Parents Lawrence and Florence (nee Flynn) MacKinnon.

Clive Elliott Bruce
Peacefully at the Souris Hospital on Tuesday, April 6, 2004 of Clive Bruce of Elmira aged 94 years.
Beloved husband of the late Pearl (nee Croucher) Bruce. Loving father of David (Cindy) Bruce, Walter (Kathy) Bruce, Fern (Cor) Keus, Gordon (Eve) Bruce, Iris (Ernie) Drummond, Glen (Susan) Bruce and Janet (Glen) Deacon. Sadly missed by 19 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren. Survived by Sister Mrs. Wendell Jones of Pawnal. Predeceased by Brother Gerald and Grandson Danny.

Grampie to Chad and Mitchell Gallant, Lea Yinci, Matthew Madore and Dale Madore. Brother of Marg (Bill) Tait, Ontario, Sylvia (Dick) Bakker, N.S. , Doreen (Bob) Rodgers, Ontario, Sharon (Steve) MacLean, Georgetown. Suddenly at his residence in New Zealand on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 of Joe McCormack in his 50th year.
Beloved husband of Mary Margaret 'Mollie' (nee Cheverie). Loving Father of Cory, Mark (Jillian Comfort), Tommy Joe (Jana Jenkins) and grandfather of Cassandra and Carson. Survived and sadly missed by Parents Joseph J. and Irene (Conway) McCormack, Sisters; Joanne (Billy) Jennings, Helen Clinton, Mary, Doris (David) Cheverie, Dena (Barry) Farrell and Brother; Tommy (Myrtle) McCormack. Also left to mourn are Brothers-in-law Patrick (Carmella) Cheverie, Mike Cheverie and Darky (Sheila) Cheverie. Sadly missed by Aunts and Uncles, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and special friends of the family Susan Cheverie, Gerard and Lela Hanlon.

Peacefully and surrounded by his family at the Souris Hospital on Friday, February 20, 2004 of Thomas Peter Stacey of Souris and formerly of Lord's Cove Nfld. in his 78th year.
Beloved husband of Helen (nee Gallant). Loving father to Darlene King (Melvin), Debbie Mallett (David), Thomas Jr. (Anne), John (Jeanette), Adrian (Amanda), Shelly Drake (Roland) all of Souris. Also left to mourn is Special Niece Gertie Sabarots of Nova Scotia, Sisters Lydia Alexandrew (Pascal), Matilda Fitzpatrick (Leo) of Nfld., Theresa Hearston of Ontario. Brother Walter Stacey (Joan). Brother-in-law Clem Lambe and Sister-in-law Betty Stacey all of Nfld. Sadly missed by his 13 Grandchildren and 7 Great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his Parents Walter and Genevieve Stacey, Brothers Joseph, Alfred, Bernard, Adrian, Sister Betty and Sister-in-law Frances Miles.

Funeral to be held Monday morning from St Mary's Church Souris with funeral mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Internment later in the church cemetery. Ryk Veld
Peacefully and surrounded by his family at the Souris Hospital on Monday, February 16, 2004 of Ryk Veld of Fortune Bridge aged 69 years.
Beloved husband of June Veld (nee MacDonald). Loving father to Ralph (Barb King), Lela (Joe O'Keefe), Darlene (Billy Mallard), Carmen (Darlene). Fondly remembered by seven grandchildren Craig, Corey, Nathan, Ashley, Paige, Miranda and Myah. Also left to mourn are brothers Teus and Aalt and sisters Jans, Hanna and Corrie.
Predeceased by brother Aart and parents Nuy and Johanna.
