Robert Ernest Robertson
Peacefully on Tuesday, September 23, 2003 at the Colville Manor Souris of Robert Ernest Robertson of Kingsboro in his 100th year.
Beloved husband of the late Muriel (nee Dixon. Loving father of John (Frances), Arlene (Merrill) MacPhail, Donald (Marcy). Proud grandfather to Connie (Peter) McQuaid, Colleen (Norman) McIntosh, Margo (Russell) Slobodon, Lester (Bonnie) Robertson, Helena (Lem) McVane, Darlene (David) MacDonald, Gail Robertson and Tony Gauthier, Lucas Robertson. Great-grandfather to Melissa MacDonald, Sonya, Morgan, McIntosh, Elizabeth, Michael, Heather, Meaghan McQuaid, Trevlyn Slobodon. Also left to mourn is sister Hilda Little and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by infant daughter Elsie Colleen, Son-in-law Horace MacDonald, brothers Lester, Jack, Jimmy, Willy, Alvin, Fulton, Eddie, Peter, Freddy, sisters Mabel, Olive and Lydia.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home Souris for visiting hours on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Friday afternoon from the East Point United Baptist Church Kingsboro with funeral service at 2 p.m. Internment in the Kingsboro Church.
Flowers and Donations gratefully declined.

John 'Jack' A. Leslie
Peacefully and surrounded by his family at the Souris Hospital on Friday, September, 19, 2003 of John 'Jack' A. Leslie of the Souris Line Rd. aged 76 years.
Dear husband of Zilla (nee MacInnis). Cherished father of Brian (Naida) of Connecticut, Matt (Lynda) of Souris Line Rd. , Kevin of Vancouver,Paul (Stella) of Whitehorse, Laura (Doran) Donovan of Halifax, and Marie of Halifax. Loving poppy to Patricia, Graham, Nelly,Becky, Laura, Sarah, Andrew, John, Emma and Alexis. Also left to mourn and sadly missed by Sisters and brothers Elda Whalen, Andrew, Sandy, Hugh, Harold, Sr. Lauretta CSM, Aiden, Martha MacDonald and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Laura Leslie, brother Matthais, sisters Catherine and Gardia, Daughter-in-law Pam (MacLean) Leslie, brothers-in-law Frank Whalen and Leonard MacDonald.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home Souris for visiting hours on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Monday afternoon fro 1 p.m. till time of funeral. Funeral to be held Monday afternoon from St Mary's Church Souris with funeral mass to be celebrated at 3 p.m. Internment in the Church cemetery. If so desired donations to the Souris Hospital would be appreciated.

Margaret Josephine Mahar
Peacefully and surrounded by her family at the Souris Hospital on Thursday, August 4, 2005 of Margaret Josephine Mahar (nee Steele) of Chepstow in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Edward Mahar. Loving mother of Walter Mahar, Mary (Robert) Rossiter, Margie (Danny) Stanley and Betty (Alan) Roach. Sadly missed by grandchildren David, Peter and Juanita Rossiter, Josh Stanley, Erica Carrager, Alaina O'Keefe Greg Roach, great-grandchildren Fineas and Marianne Carrager. Predeceased by daughter Josephine Cross, son-in-law Jim Cross, Parents Roddie and Josephine Steele, brothers and sisters Mary Anne, Laura, Sadie, Bob, Phil, Joseph, Bernard, Syreen, Pius and Leo. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home Souris for visiting hours on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Monday morning from 9:00 am until time of the funeral. Funeral to be held Monday morning from St Alexis Church Rollo Bay with funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 am. Internment in the church cemetery. If so desired donations to the Souris Hospital or the St Alexis Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.

Russell Manning
Peacefully and surrounded by his family and friends at the Souris Hospital on Tuesday, August 2, 2005 of Russell Manning of St Charles aged 54 years. Beloved husband of Kathe (nee Reimer). Loving father of James (Dawn Mallard), Steve (Suann), Crystal ( FiancÚ Steven) and Mike. Dear grandfather of Laura, Stephanie, Hannah, Lalah, Julia and Deseray. Sadly missed by brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Agnes Manning.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home Souris for visiting hours on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Friday morning from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral. Funeral to be held from St Alexis Church Rollo Bay Friday morning with funeral mass to be celebrated at 11:00 am. Cremated remains to be interned at a later date. If so desired donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Doreen Emmaline Hunter
Peacefully at the Souris Hospital on Friday, February 11, 2005 of Doreen Emmaline Hunter (nee Garrett) of North Lake aged 72 years. Beloved wife of the late Harold M. Hunter. Sadly missed by Daughters Barbara (Jimmy) and Beverley and grandchildren Michael and Julieanne and sister Pansy (Kenny) Maclean. Predeceased by sisters Minnie (Gerald) Bruce, Lola (Robert) Ross, Lydia (Albert) Browning, Hilda (Edward) Smith and brother Russell (Wilma) Garrett.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home Souris for visiting hours on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral to be held from the East Point United Baptist Church Monday afternoon with funeral service at 2 pm. Internment in the Kingsboro Cemetery.

E. Lyle MacEwen
Peacefully at the Colville Manor Souris on Thursday, November 25, 2004 of Mrs. E. Lyle MacEwen (nee Mills) of Rollo Bay in her 92nd year.
Beloved wife of the late Lloyd MacEwen. Loving Mother of Edna (Allison) Mutch, Kentville, N.S., Doris (Wally) Wood, Marshfield, Billy (Karen), Charlottetown, Dwight of Ottawa. Sadly missed by 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandchild, Brother Arnold (Jean) Mills of Howe Bay. Predeceased by Parents William and Pearl (MacFarlane) Mills, Brother James, Brothers-in-law Earl and Harold.

Funeral to be held Saturday afternoon from the Dingwell Funeral Home Chapel with funeral Service at 2 p.m. Internment in the Bay Fortune United Church Cemetery.

John Richard Hayden
Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Charlottetown on Monday, November 22, 2004 of John Richard Hayden formerly of Greenwich aged 87 years. Beloved husband of Pearl (nee Squires). Predeceased by sisters Florence Ching (Lowell) and Amanda MacGregor (Harold). Richard is also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews and the very kind staff at Corrigan Home where he resided for the past four years.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home Souris for visiting hours on Tuesday evening 6-9 p.m. only. Funeral to be held from the Dingwell Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday morning with funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Internment in the Midgell Cemetery. If so desired donation maybe made to the Q.E.H. or Pat and the Elephant.

Mabel Ferne Baker
Peacefully at the Souris Hospital on Saturday, November 13, 2004 surrounded by her family of Mabel Ferne Baker (nee Robertson) of Munn's Road aged 86 years.
Beloved wife of Irving Baker. She will be fondly remembered by her children Fern (Waldron) Leard, Wendell (Barbara) Baker, Arthur (Theresa) Baker, Lilian (Don) Humphrey and her 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She leaves to mourn Brother Earl (Ruth) Robertson, Sisters-in-law Lorna Robertson, Jean (Ray) Mosher, Anita Baker, Brothers-in-law Jack (Cindy) MacDonald, Robert (Aletha) Baker and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her Parents Lester and Gertrude Robertson, Stepmother Elizabeth (Pope) Robertson, Brothers Ervin and Walter Robertson, Sisters Helen (Gordon) MacLeod, Velma (Russell) Garrett, Ruth MacDonald and Brother-in-law Lyman Baker.

Funeral to be held Tuesday afternoon from the East Point United Baptist Church Kingsboro with funeral service at 2 pm. Internment in the Southlake Christian Church Cemetery.

Eugene Elmer Noyes
Suddenly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, November 10, 2004 of Eugene Elmer Noyes of Souris and formerly of Little Pond and West Newbury, Mass.
Beloved husband of Jessie Noyes (nee Guthro). Loving father of Bruce (Nancy) of Dracut Mass., Peter of Hampton, N.H. and Bob (Joan) of Plainstow, N.H. Sadly missed by 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home Souris, PEI for visiting hours on Saturday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
Funeral to be held Sunday afternoon from St James United Church with funeral service at 2 p.m. then transferred to the Frank S. and Sons Funeral Home, Inc.
Friends are Invited to the Merrimac Cemetery, West Newbury, Mass. from were a graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2004 at 2 PM, with a light lunch to follow.
