The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, September 15, 2002, of Hilda Barlow, of Wellington, aged 97 years.
Born in Southwest Lot 16, she was the daughter of the late William and Laura (Cameron) Baglole. Beloved wife of the late John A. Barlow Jr. Dear mother of Harold Barlow and Audrey MacLeod, both of Wellington. Survived by grandchildren John (Mae) MacLeod, Wellington; Elaine (Jim) Guyan, Thunder Bay, Ontario; by a great-granddaughter Darla (Mitchell) Brown, Thunder Bay, Ontario; great-great grandchildren Kayla and Teanna MacLeod and Rory Brown; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son-in-law Edmund MacLeod; sisters Frances (Neil) MacKenzie, Louise (John) Gamble, Purdie (John) Stewart, Bessie (Colin) MacKinnon and Mary Baglole; brothers John (Gladys) Baglole, Bayfield (Susan) Baglole, Sydney (Henrietta) Baglole and Harold (Verna) Bigelow.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Wellington United Church or the Hillside Cemetery, Wellington, would be appreciated.

Harold Bradford Cairns
The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, May 31, 2002, of Harold Bradford Cairns of Stanley Bridge, aged 58 years.
Born in Summerside, he was the son of Bradford and Helen (Walker) Cairns.
He is survived by his loving wife Nancy (Clarke) Cairns and by his children Jennifer (Paul) Fritze, Mississauga, Ontario; Michael (Anne), Halifax; and Julia (Fiancť Dennis Brown), Calgary, Alberta. Dear grandfather of Patrick and Will Cairns and brother of Jean (Robert) Miller, Dartmouth, N.S.; Marg (Leonard) MacDonald, Grand River; and Ben (Lorna) Cairns, Wilmot. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Dorothy Clarke, Summerside, and brother-in-law Kent (Betty) Clarke, Riverview, N.B.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Tuesday then to Trinity United Church, Summerside, for funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Peopleís Cemetery, Summerside. Eva Gallant
Gallant - The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday June 3, 2002, of Eva Gallant (nee Arsenault), wife of the late George "Chick" Gallant, of 86 Cedar Street, Summerside, aged 90 years.
Survived by a son Roy, Summerside; daughter Dianne (Ron) MacInnis, Miscouche; grandchildren Paul MacInnis, Karla (Neil) Kielly, Sherri and Kelly MacInnis and by a great-grandson Ethan.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Thursday then to St. Paulís Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 1:00 p.m. Interment in St. Paulís Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Edith Margaret Gamble
The death occurred at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Tuesday, November 19, 2002, of Edith Margaret Gamble, wife of the late Major Gamble, of 92 Bayview Drive, Summerside, aged 80 years. Born at Southwest Lot 16, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Gladys (MacKinnon) Cameron. Dear mother of Dorothy (Reid) Baglole, Oromocto, N.B.; Marjorie (Eric) Skerry, Summerside; and Nancy (Irving) Stewart, Cardigan. Grandmother of Carmen Stewart and Carolyn and George Skerry. Sister of Edson (friend Mary), Summerside; Vera (Roy) Fitzgerald, Toronto, Ontario; Helen Gamble, Summerside; Ella May (Wallace) Deighan, Summerside; Jean Smith, St. John, N.B.; Ivan (Isabel), Summerside; Elmer (Sheila), Moncton, N.B.; Betty (Vince) Poirier, Summerside; and Lea (Doris), Lot 16.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Peopleís Cemetery, Summerside. Phoebe Gaudet
The death occurred at the Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton, N.S. on Monday, June 3, 2002, of Mrs. Phoebe Gaudet, Greenwood, N.S. and formerly of G7 LeFurgey Avenue, Summerside, aged 102 years. Born in Mont Carmel, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Gallant) Gallant.
Survived by her daughter Frances (Darrell) Backstrom, Greenwood, N.S. and adopted son Cyril (Theresa) Arsenault, Cornwall, Ontario; Grandchildren John (Sharon) Backstrom, Kriss (Brenda) Backstrom, and Karen (Greg) Llewellyn; great-grandchildren Carolyn and Mark Backstrom and Shawn and Kristy-Lynn Llewellyn. Predeceased by her husband Joseph Gaudet.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside until Thursday, then to St. Paulís Church, Summerside for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment in St. Paulís Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Ethel Inman
The death occurred at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Wednesday, July 24, 2002, of Ethel Inman, of Summerside aged 89 years. Born in Indian River, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Hamilton) Mann.
Survived by her children Elayne (David) Morrison, Summerside; Betty (Gordon) Simmons, Kingston, Ontario; and Wendell (Karla) Inman, Riverview, N.B.; by 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and a brother Keith (Rita) Mann, Indian River. Predeceased by her husband Victor Inman.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, for visiting hours on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Peopleís Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.

Grace Jenkins
The death occurred peacefully, at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Monday, September 30, 2002, of Grace Jenkins, of Summerside, aged 81 years.
Born in Halifax, N.S., she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Annie (Lane) Poole. Mother of Carol (Dr. Allen) MacLean, Summerside; Rev. Gail (Dr. Gerald) Hopkirk, Charlottetown; Barbara (Brian) Prowse, Hampton, N.B.; Kae (Barry) Smith, Stratford; Franci (Dale) Cannon, Summerside; Janice (Vance) Enman, Summerside; David, Toronto and Stephen (Brenda), Hampton, N.B. Survived by 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; by a brother Vernon (Kathy) Poole, Souris; and a sister Marjorie MacAulay, Halifax, N.S.
Predeceased by her husband Frank Jenkins; grandson Tyler MacLean and brothers Percy and Cecil Poole.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Wednesday, then to the Summerside United Baptist Church for funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Peopleís Cemetery, Summerside. Paul Matheson
Suddenly, as the result of a motor vehicle accident at Churchill, on Saturday, March 15, 2003, of Paul Matheson, of 100 King Street, Summerside, aged 42 years.
Survived by sons Christopher and Nathan, at home; his parents George and Ruby (McKenna) Matheson, Rose Valley; special friend Carol Callaghan, Charlottetown; sisters and brother Donna (William) Barlow, Summerside; Sandra (Darcy) Carr, Summerside; John Matheson, Rose Valley; Janet MacQuarrie (Billy Arsenault), Charlottetown and Darlene (Dwayne) Hogg, Bedford, N.S. and by Janice Matheson, mother of Christopher and Nathan.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment later in the Hartsville Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to a trust fund for his sons would be appreciated.

The death occurred at her late residence, on Monday, July22, 2002 of Edna Murphy, wife of the late G. Claude Murphy, of 291 Arcona Street, Summerside, aged 70 years.

Kathleen Russell
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, September 18, 2002 of Kathleen (Kay) Russell, of Sunshine Trailer Park, Summerside, aged 82 years.
Born in Halifax, N.S. she was the daughter of the late John William and Winifred (Johnson) Carney. Dear wife of Everett Russell. Mother of Gail (Fred) MacNeill, Dartmouth; Judy Cormier, Summerside; Betty Jean (Claude) Allen, Union Corner; Sharon (Graham) Holloway, Dartmouth; also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by a grandson Scott MacNeill and a sister Pearl Power.
