GRAY, Alan Bedford
At Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on February 16, 2001 Alan Gray of Ennismore, formerly of Ajax, in his 66th year, beloved husband of Joan (Wigmore). Son of Lillian Nesbitt and the late William Gray. Loving father of Louise (Derek Bain), Debra (Dusty Bartley) and Wendy (Ernie Ambrose). Dear brother of Charlotte Green (Norman). Also survived by nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Friends are invited to call at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield, on Monday, February 19, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Service in the Hendren Chapel on Tuesday, at 1:00 pm. Interment at Lakefield Cemetery. Pastor Fred Futers officiating. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #77, Lakefield, will gather at the funeral home on Monday, at 6:45 pm., for service at 7:00 pm. If so desired memorial donations to the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society would be appreciated by the family.

Grandfather of 21. Great grandfather of 4. Predeceased by parents William and Mary Huska and his brother Metro. Survived by brothers Peter (Vera); Henry of Dauphin, MB, and sister Alice Woroby of Winnipeg, MB. Friends will be received at Oshawa Funeral Service "Thornton Chapel 847 King St. West (721-1234) for visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, February 21st, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Thornton Cemetery. IRVING, Lawrence (Laurie)
At the Northumberland Health Care Centre, Cobourg, Friday, February 16th, 2001 in his 67th year, with his family and friends present. Laurie Irving, beloved husband of Jean Bates of Port Hope. Son in law of Clifford Bates. Dear father of Karen Grace (Dan) and Lisa Marion Irving. Loving grandfather of John and Devon Wasylyk. Brother of Jim and Grace Irving of Oshawa. Brother in law of the late John Bates. Laurie will be missed by Nan Irving and his family and friends in Scotland and Port Hope. A celebration of Laurie's life will be held at the First Baptist Church, 57 John Street, Port Hope Wednesday February 21st at 11 a.m. Memorial donations to the First Baptist Church or the West Northumberland Dialysis Unit would be appreciated.

MACHOWSKI, Adam
Member of The Polish War Veterans, and The Royal Canadian Legion. Peacefully after a short illness on Friday February 16, 2001. Adam Machowski, in his 87th year. Loving husband of the late Zofia. Dear father of Zenon and his wife Patricia. Dear Grandfather of Christina and Carolyn. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King St. E. Oshawa, with Mass of Christian Burial in St. Hedwig's Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday February 20, 2001 at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Prayers will be held at the Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 19th. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the Family.

TOMICZEK, Paul Marcel Herbert
At York Central Hospital on Friday February 16, 2001, in his 37th year. Beloved son of Victor and Marcella, brother of Anne Marie, James, and Christopher and brother-in-law of Mark. Loving father of Zackary and Brittany. Will be sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and grandparents. Cremation. Service was held on Friday February 23, 2001.

TURNER, Dora Irene (nee Davies)
At Lakeridge Health Corporation, Oshawa on Friday, February 16, 2001 at the age of 83. Doe, beloved wife of the late Frank. Loving mother of Dale and Eric McNeil, Doreen and Malcolm Moffat, and Dave and Marie May. Dearly loved grandmother of Jeffrey, Cynthia and Scot Williamson, and great-grandmother of Ryan and Mitchell. Dora is predeceased by brothers George and Roy, and survived by sisters-in-law Betsy, Bernie and Eileen. Predeceased by sister-in-law Helen. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax (Pickering Village) 905-428-8488 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. A complete funeral service in the chapel on Tuesday, February 20, 2001 at 2 p.m. Should family and friends so desire, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.

DANIEL, Sheila (nee Dewell)
Peacefully with family by her side on February 15, 2001 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Sheila is now at rest. Beloved mother of Theresa Reynolds, Ian Daniel and his wife Laurie. Grandmother to Amy and David Hodgson, Julie and Pamela Washburn. Ashleigh and Justin Reynolds. Londa and Steven Daniel. Great-grandmother of Jessica; Christina and Dewell. Funeral Services were held on February 19 at 2:00pm. After cremation to be buried at St. Michael's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

(Past Master of Cedar Lodge A.F. & A.M. No. 270; Retired 40 year employee of General Motors of Canada; Member of Harmony United Church; Member of General Motors Pipe Band). The Gowans family are sad to announce the death of Robert Russell Gowans on Thursday February 15, 2001. Beloved husband of Nan. went home to be with the Lord, in her 72nd year, after a brief but heroic battle with cancer, at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa, on February 15, 2001. Predeceased by husband Roy Smith and daughter Ruth Smith. Beloved mother of Sharon Hepworth and her husband Jim and Sandra McCormick and her husband Louis. Beloved grandmother of Sarah, Jennifer and Kathleen Hepworth and Roy, Page and Holly McCormick. The entire family of Bernice Smith would like to thank the staff of the Lakeridge Health, Oshawa and the Toronto East General Hospital for all their support through this trying time.
