Ron was co-ordinator/professor of the Human Resources program at Durham College and University Centre for over 25 years, associate professor at York and Central Michigan Universities, active member of the Human Resources Association of Ontario and an international management consultant. Aged 79 years. Died at home with her family about her on Wednesday, July 18th, 2001. A devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, served a mission after retirement in South Carolina where the younger missionaries knew her as “Sister Cool". June had a unique outlook on life and was always active and enthusiastic. She is survived by her daughter Wendy, sister Doris, grandchildren: Ronald, Danielle and Talli, great grandchildren: Charles, Ashley, Camden, Cember and Brandon J. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Jessica; extended family includes her many friends in the church. There will be a memorial service at Oshawa ward, Rossland at Thornton, Saturday, July 28th at 10 a.m. She will be laid to rest at the family plot in Hamilton Cemetery.
