At home in Oshawa on Sunday, September 23, 2001, Brian Eldon, at age 52. At Toronto East General Hospital on Tuesday, September 25, 2001, Thomas Eldon, at age 54. Brian and Thomas will be sadly missed by their parents Robert and Ada Eldon of Newmarket and their brothers Gerald and his wife Christine of Chatham, Desmond and his wife Joanne of Toronto and Kevin also of Toronto. Fondly remembered by their nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Benjamen, Amanda, Jason, Ashley, Jessica and Johnathan. Friends were received at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. South, Newmarket on Tuesday. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Donations in memory of Brian to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario and in memory of Thomas to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

BROWNING, George
Passed away peacefully at the Centenary Hospital on Monday, September 24, 2001 at the age of 81. Retired Region of Durham and Town of Ajax employee. George served in the infantry with the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Hamilton during World War II. George was active with the community of Ajax through his associations with the Ajax Legion and many years ago served as a volunteer fire fighter. He leaves behind his loving wife Margaret of 53 years, his children Peggy Ann Browning of Orillia, Rick Browning and his wife Heather of Pontypool and Elizabeth (Beth) Browning of Ajax and her fiance Tom Jacobs of New Jersey. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Philip Browning, Jaclyn Browning, Ryan Matthies, Kevin Matthies and Samantha Matthies. Dear brother of Lily Rutherford and her husband Truman, and family. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Monday, September 24, 2001, after a short battle with cancer, in his 52nd year. Bob Morin cherished husband for 32 years of Karen Morin (nee O’Halloran). Loving father of Ryan Morin and his wife Deb Lance and Monique and her husband Dustin Kerr-Taylor. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Jessica Morin, Joshua and Arnanda Lance. Son of the late Alex Morin, survived by his mother Jean Morin and siblings; Ron, Leo, David, Jean, John, Michelle and 2nd cousin Sue Seago. Sadly missed by his mother in law Iona Austin of Sutton and his brothers and sisters in law; Larry O’Halloran and Lynda Mortson, Sheryl and Grant Rutledge, Mike and Sandy O’Halloran, Peter and Sandy Stevenson, Kelly and Howie Lam, Dwight and Sharon O’Halloran and Ted O’Halloran. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Long time employee of General Motors, Oshawa, he will be sadly missed by many friends, co-workers and his special buddy Riley.
