CYR, Lise Marie
The family announces with sorrow her death, Wednesday, October 25th, 2000, during lung surgery, at the Heart Institute Civic Hospital, in Ottawa, at the age of 37 years. Beloved daughter of Matilda Cyr (née Leger) of Val Caron and of the late Conrad Cyr (2000). Loving mother of Chanel at home and survived Chanel’s father Bruce Plamondon of Val Caron. Dear sister of Richard Cyr (wife Brenda) of Hanmer. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her nephew Jamie and her niece Sheena both of Hanmer. Also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins in Sudbury, New-Brunswick and Connecticut. Special friend of Carole Villeneuve and Cindy Currie. Lise worked in home care services, retail and hairdressing. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, East (at Notre Dame), Sudbury, Friday from 2 - 5 pm and 7 - 9:30 pm. A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 28th, 2000, at 10:00 am, in the Bishop Roger Despatie Chapel, of the Co-operative Funeral Home, Sudbury. Donations to the Lung Association or to the Chanel Trust Fund would be appreciated.

LEGAULT, Robert
In loving memory of Robert Legault, 61 years, who passed away Thursday afternoon, October 26th, 2000 at Extendicare Falconbridge Rd. He was born in Awry Township and worked as a labourer for C.P.R. Dear son of the late Theodore and Margaret Legault. Dear brother of John (wife Ellen) of B.C., Beatrice Toews of Edmonton, Garnet (wife Laura) of Lively, Yvonne Hall (husband Gerry) of Elliot Lake, Gilbert of Sudbury, Verlie Morin (husband Late Ronald) of Sudbury, Edward (wife Linda) of Barrie, Late George, and Late Irene Lachapelle (husband Late Edward). Missed by many nieces and nephews. At Robert’s request there will be no visitation and no funeral service. Direct Cremation. Memorial donations to the Heart and Soul Campaign or charity of your choice would be appreciated. (Arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME).

McCOMBER, Linda Harlene (nee Gilbert)
In loving memory of Linda McComber, 61 years, of Sudbury who passed away Wednesday, October 25th, 2000 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - St. Joseph’s Health Centre. She marriage Bruce McComber in 1964 in Blind River. Linda grew up in Hartley Bay moving to Sudbury as a teenager. She was a faithful Anglican who actively participated in the ministry and fellowship of St. George’s Church. She had been a cook at Atwood Island Lodge for over 20 years. She enjoyed quilting, fishing, playing bingo and trying her luck at the casino. Linda was devoted to her family always quick to help others she will be remembered for her goodness and love. Beloved wife of Bruce McComber of Sudbury. Loving mother of James (spouse Patty) of Ridgeway, Helen (spouse J.P. Gingras) of Estaire, Sylvia and Cecilia (spouse Donald Brooks) both of Sudbury, Amelia of Surrey B.C., Marina (spouse Darin Corbiere) and Judith (spouse Bernie Naokwegijig) and Norbert (friend Stephanie) all of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Dear daughter of John and Helen Gilbert predeceased. Dear sister of Rosalind Gilbert of Sudbury, Gaylene Korkiakoski (husband Kalervo), Lorna Southwind (husband Richard Lindells), Robert (wife Lynn), Doreas Fenske (husband Derreck) and Peter (wife Maria) all of Estaire and the late Gerald, Wilfred, Norma, Claudia, Dorcas, Gary, Darcy, Leatrice and Garnet all predeceased. OUELLETTE, Elizabeth Jane “Jean” (Potter)
In loving memory of Elizabeth Jane “Jean” (Potter) Ouellette, 88 years, who passed away Wednesday evening, October 25th, 2000 at her residence. Born in Hamilton, Scotland, she came to Canada with her family at the age of 8. She enjoyed life and a good laugh with the many people she knew. Her interest in people and wish to help others, was well recognized by the 16 years she volunteered at the Sudbury Memorial Hospital. Jean held the position of President of the U.C.W. at All Peoples Church, where she was a member for 55 years. Beloved wife of the late Aldric “Slick” Ouellette (predeceased November 5th, 1999). Loving and devoted mother of Darlene (husband Harry Nelson), and the late Marilyn (predeceased). Adored grandmother of David Nelson (wife Jennifer) of Toronto and Heather (husband Jason Cockerline) of Calgary. Dear daughter of the late Bill and Nell Potter both predeceased. Dear sister of Agnes Delaney and Janet Wilson both of Sudbury and the late Jean Boyuk (predeceased). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Saturday, October 28th, 2000 at 2 pm. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium. TRANCHEMONTAGNE, Émile
The family announces with sorrow his death, Thursday, October 26th, 2000, at the Sudbury Regional Hospital (St. Joseph’s Health Centre), at the age of 65 years. Son of the late William Tranchemontagne and of the late Emilia Tranchemontagne (née Foucault). Husband of the late Anna Tranchemontagne (née St-Georges), dear friend Pauline Daoust of Chelmsford. Loving father of Yvette Laurin (husband Paul) of Chelmsford, Anne Tranchemontagne and Louise Tranchemontagne both of Sudbury and Yvon (wife Lise) of Dowling. Dear brother of Ronald (wife Madeleine), Rita Brosseau (husband Leonard predeceased) and Doris (friend Diane) all of Chelmsford, Lionel (wife Marion) of Azilda and Gerard (wife Linda) of Dowling. Predeceased by one brother Arcade. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Michel and André Laurin, Roger and Alain Vincent, Jasmine and Gilles Tranchemontagne. Mr. Tranchemontagne was a member of the Senior Craft Shop. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping on the Vermillion river fondly called “La Tristesse”. Emile was always busy puttering around his home. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford, Friday from 7 - 9:30 pm. HAMILTON, Marjorie Eva (Lacey) (Young)

Born in Toronto, she was a quiet and caring person. She enjoyed reading and gardening. She will be sadly missed but always remembered with love, especially for the large role she fulfilled in her family. Beloved and devoted wife of the late John T. “Jack” Hamilton (predeceased June 10th, 1998). Loving mother of the late John B. Hamilton predeceased. Loving daughter of the late Delphi Young predeceased. Wife of the late “Pitre” Joseph Rienguette and of the late Anatole Leduc. Loving mother of Ralph Ringuette (wife Clémence) of Sudbury. Predeceased by her daughter Jacqueline Lavallée. Dear sister of Thérèse Turner (husband Clarence) of Red Rock, Angemae Renaud (husband Ralph), Aurel Ratelle (wife Blanche) both of Vancouver, British Columbia and Lucien Ratelle (wife Patricia) of Calgary, Alberta. Predeceased by her sisters Florence Huard and Irène Richer, and by her brothers Paul Ratelle, Léo Ratelle and Léonard Ratelle. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Debbie, Suzanne, Richard, Shirley and by her great grandchildren Craig, Trevor, Ashley, Stephany, Travis, Candice and Brandon. PARKER, Frances (nee Croudey)

Born in Halifax, N.S., she marriage Ossie Parker in Halifax in 1949. Beloved wife of Ossie Parker predeceased 1981. Loving mother of Ronald (wife Laurie) and Brian. POCRNICK, Lillian (nee Jacmenovich)
( Born October 2, 1936, Sudbury, Ontario). At the Henderson General Hospital in Hamilton, after a courageous battle with breast cancer, with her loving family at her side, on Tuesday, January 16, 2001, in her 65th year. Beloved wife of John Pocrnick and loving mother of Randy Pocrnick and his wife Maria. Dear grandmother of Alex, Daniel and Anna. Aunt to Judy Zeleznak and husband Joe, John Miller and his wife Sue, cousins Nick Klemencic and wife Barka. Lillian was predeceased by her sister Mary Miller and her parents John Jacmenovich and Milka (Mikesic). Lillian will be sadly missed by relatives in Hamilton, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Kansas City and Croatia. Lillian was a proud, active member of the Croatian National Home and a member of C.F.U. Lodge 954. Sincere thanks to Drs. Arnold, Waddell, Ellis and the rest of the kind and dedicated employees at the Cancer Clinic and Ward 395. RUSSELL, Mabel Rita (nee Omstead)
In loving memory of Mabel Rita Russell (nee Omstead), 86 years formerly of Lively, who passed away Thursday morning, January 18th, 2001 at the Extendicare York. Born in Portage du Fort, Quebec, she marriage Herbert Russell in 1949 in Sault Ste Marie. A longtime Lively resident, Mabel was an excellent cook making delicious beans and buns. Over the years, she enjoyed playing darts and socializing at the Lively Legion. She was always keen to try her luck with bingo cards. Mabel will be remembered for her good humour and her many acts of kindness to help others. She was devoted to her family especially her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren whose constant care and affection were a light of love to Mabel in the twilight of her life. Beloved wife of Herbert Russell predeceased 1986. Loving mother of Betty Daggett (husband Bill predeceased) of Sudbury. Cherished “Nonnie” of Heather-Ann (husband Claudio Durigon) of Sudbury, Michael Sanchioni (wife Paula) of Sault Ste Marie and Perry Sanchioni (wife Carol) of Sudbury; great grandchildren Amber, Claudia, Jessica and Jordan. Special aunt to Walter Riley of Bristol, P.Q. and Faye D’Onghia of Ottawa.
