Peacefully at Hillsdale Manor Oshawa on Wednesday January 2nd, 2002. Mary (nee Baker) in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Bernard Shields. Loving mother of Joan Bouckley, Gordon Shields and his wife Elsie, and Don Shields and his wife Marielle. Dear Grandmother of Bonnie, Stephen, Brent, Barry, Susan, Alison, Mark, and Daphnie. Mary will be sadly missed by her nine Great grandchildren. Survived by her sister Rose of British Columbia. Predeceased by her brothers Vincent, Earl, Arthur, Bernard, Wilfred, Fred, and Francis, and sisters Mary and Teresa.
